Nar Shaddaa

Arriving in the planets orbit there was one last decision to be made. Where to descend. Stepping out from her quarters Kristal joined them at the helm. Standing at the center, looking over each of their shoulders.

"The moment is upon us, soon the Empire will be protected from one of the greatest weapons the Republic could use against us. A traitor within our own ranks. On the order of Darth Marr the secrets he carries will not leave this planet."

"Do we have a location to touch down?"

Burr says, "Talaos City, is our best shot at this. Puts us close to the resort where we can find your traitor, and hopefully you cut me loose."

Burr checks his blaster and adds, "This ain't Nar Shaddaa, the local security forces won't turn a blind eye to murder."

Weaver says, "I concur with him."

"If all else fails, we do this as quickly as possible," she says, looking out over her assembled team one more time. "Bring us in, Talaos City."

"Today, Burr, you may have a chance to truly earn something," she offered, turning away from the deck so that she might prepare herself for the trials just ahead.

Burr adds, "Sure thing Sith, so we go in quiet or go in shooting?"

"I do not want to give our enemy the advantage," she says in response. "As quiet as the situation allows. However, I want there to be zero chance of something slipping through the cracks. When we strike, we strike with the fury of the Empire."

"Let there be none left to speak of who was involved here."

The screen wipes to the her ship landing on Makeb in the port and her crew readying themselves for the task ahead.

Without the armor commonly associated with most Sith, Kristal didn't exactly look the part but she was clearly prepared. With her lightsaber checked once, twice, and then a third time it was secured fast to her hip. Gloving her Cybernetic arm she moved out to the center of her team.

"I trust each of you to do what we came here for. It will not be spoken of but our actions today will save Imperial lives, of that there is little doubt," she said looking to her team assembled one last time. Offering a firm nod, not one for long speeches, allowing for them to ask anything they needed. To cure any doubt. As this would surely be their last opportunity.

The team was committed, it was time to do what they came to do.

OOC: Stealth check get a boost die for making a quiet a approach to the meeting location. Difficulty is Average. Burr removes a setback for the group.

There were some difficulties getting there without being noticed. However...


Day 5, Early Afternoon | Stealth Check, Makeb Mission, Flipping a Destiny: 1eP+1eA+1eB+2eD 0 successes, 2 threat, 1 Triumph

The team gets in place but tips off the Republic agents that they are on planet. Thankfully Bur knows a trick or two and was able to get them into the Resort Hotel under and assumed name in the room directly above but surely the Republic has alerted the traitor and they will be prepared.

OOC: This will grant a boost die to Kristal and crews Initiative rolls. Let me know on the approach from here.

Kristal laid out the plan when they got into the room. Bur disguised as an employee of the hotel was to go in first and identify Dano Fisk. Once it was confirmed the others would breach into the room. Weaver from the front, Biggs and Wedge from outside and Kristal from above. Despite any worries of the plan it was only a matter of trusting Kristal at this point.

Luckily, the girl was something of a leader.

Day 5, Early Afternoon | Leadership Check, Makeb Mission: 1eP+1eA+1eB+2eD 2 successes, 2 threat

OOC: Cool for initiative, her allies are in position but there is a minor hiccup, a Republic battle droid not accounted for.

It was far too late to re-plan now. When the word was given Kristal ignited her lightsaber, the blue blade making quick work of the floor just below her that could never have been made with this in mind. Quickly she cut out a portion of the floor and dropped directly into the center of the room. In the moment of silence that passed she just stood and looked about.

"Well, I know how I am going to rate my stay."

Now was when everything went to hell.

Day 5, Early Afternoon | Cool Check, Initiative, Stealth Triumph Boost Die: 2eP+1eB 3 successes, 1 advantage

Bur draws his blaster as the fighting begins and opens fire putting several blaster rounds into an Imperial traitor dropping the woman easily as he opens a path for Kristal to strike.

OOC: Fisk and the Republic Droid have Adversary 1. Everyone is at Short range in the hotel room! Kristal's squad are Minion group of 3, the Imperial traitors are a minion group of 3. Bur hits for 8 wounds kills a a traitor now there are 2 and grants Kristal a Boost die.

Dropping down between the mess of them, Bur's strike takes out the one woman between the other two and Kristal. As the woman fell their sight opened up to Kristal rushing forward with her blue blade, striking savagely across the chest of one. While grabbing the arm of the other with her cybernetic hand as he tried to strike in his desperation. After the strike cut through his comrade the blade was turned, striking up into the man's core. Letting his arm free she allowed his body to stumble away in the shock of the strike.

After the strike she looked to Fisk, in that moment he would see his mortality thrown into stark contrast.

Day 5, Early Afternoon | Lightsaber vs Traitors, Boost from Bur: 2eP+3eA+1eB+2eD 6 successes, 1 advantage


Manuever: Short to Engaged with Traitor Group.

Total: Breach 1 -10 Soak, (Lightsaber Damage 8 + 6 Success) 14 Damage.
Advantage to notice something important about the encounter.

The traitors stood no chance as the Sith engages with them. Her lightsaber ending their miserable lives with extreme prejudice. The droid turns and levels a rotating blaster cannon at Kristal and fires!

The droid is accurate as Fisk scowls and says, “I guess I have to kill you myself!” He draws a blaster pistol and fires! The shot is accurate though not hopefully mortal!

OOC: Kristal notices a datapad with control data for the droid on a counter nearby, within Short range. Fisk hits for 7 wounds and generates a Critical Injury! The droid does 11 wounds. Fisk and the Republic Droid have Adversary 1. Everyone is at Short range in the hotel room!

End of Round 1.

Bur rushes across the room and grabs the Datapad and works quickly to shut the droid down as Fisk dives behind cover in the fire fight.

The Droid freezes in place.

OOC: Bur grabs the Datapad and tries to shut the droid down, he is successful although Fisk takes the moment to move behind cover. Fisk gains a maneuver and Takes Cover.

Bur - Computers: 1eP+1eA+2eD 1 success, 2 threat

Cold rage thrust her forward after the blast of both the droid and Fisk made their marks, brushing off the pain so that she might end this fight. Stepping forward until she loomed over the couch Fisk had taken cover behind, she looked down over the object and spoke, "You are a traitor and a coward, the Empire's justice is at hand," before striking down with fury.

Kristal's saber cut through the corner of the couch and down to where Fisk had been. Having forced Fisk to scramble away from where the strike would have landed, losing his handle on his weapon in the process in order to escape the Serasai's fury and exposing himself a bit more to her comrades. With her lightsaber having cut a significant slice into the floor she glared at Fisk.

Fisk: 1 Damage, Crit
Droid: 5 Damage.

4 Advantage: 3 to Drop his weapon, 1 to Add boost to next Ally.

Weaver lays down fire on Fisk’s position, Biggs and Wedge following suit and put so may holes in the couch that it is no longer recognizable.

Fisk is unarmed and decides that maybe he can he overpower a Sith… either that or he was desperate! It is not terribly effective but he does notice an exit if he can just make.

OOC: Use 3 advantage to destroy Fisk's Cover. Fisk uses his advantage to notice an escape route.

Before Fisk can bolt though Bur puts a round in his leg causing the traitor to fall prone at Kristal’s feet.

OOC: Bur will use the Triumph to immobilize Fisk by shooting his leg, keep him from fleeing. Fisk takes 4 wounds and cannot move.

With Fisk falling to a knee before her, Kristal disengages her lightsaber and clicks it back onto her belt and then stood over him. Grabbing him with her left arm the cold Cybernetics pushed up against his throat. There was little doubt in her mind that this man merely was inspired by greed. Some large payout he could have managed by turning traitor. Still... she wanted to hear it from him directly..

"This is your last chance, attempt vindication, what drove you to betray the Empire?" she says coldly, lifting him just enough so that he could feel his life ebbing away from him for long enough to have a intensely sobering affect and then lowered him back to the ground before her. Giving him the opportunity to speak.

Day 5, Early Afternoon | Brawl vs Fisk, Crit Injury, Adversary, Prone Bonus: 5eA+1eB+1eC+2eD 5 successes


Manuever: Holster Lightsaber.

Brawn + Success: 10 Strain Damage before Soak.

“The Empire,” he says through choking gasps…

“The Empire will lose! The Sith will doom us all… you… your kind are worse than the enemy!”

Bur adds, "Just vape the trash and let's go before security arrives."

"I wish you could live long enough to see how wrong you are about my kind," she said, pulling her lightsaber from her belt once more as she let Fisk fall back to his knees. Raising it high she struck down across his chest. Giving him just long enough to process his words before the lightsaber ended his life. As his body slumped to the floor Kristal turned to her team and addressed them.

With the business done Kristal looked to Weaver and gave her commands,"Take the droids memory core or destroy it, we are not leaving it here."

"Bur, we can bring you back to Nar Shaddaa but as far as I am concerned your debt to the Empire has been paid," she says. Giving just a slight pause to place the proper weight to her next. Speaking directly, solemnly, "Do not waste this second chance."

Bur pulls the memory core and says, "Get me back to Nar Shaddaa, is all I ask."

Weaver adds, "By your leave my lord."

"Then we leave together," she says decidedly. Raising her hand with an open palm, pulling the memory core to her hand with the force. Burr could feel it, certainly, but could easily resist the gentle tug.

Day 5, Early Afternoon | Force Move: 1eF 1 Light Side

With Bur letting go of the core, and it safely in her hands. Kristal guided her team out of the hotel and back to their ship with due haste.
