Arsele nodded, "Mmmm... seeing you, all grown up and beautiful no less, is definitely a breath of fresh air around here. Makes me feel a bit introspective, but also a bit relaxed; A strange but refreshing feeling, as it were."

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele blushed. "Well, you're no slouch yourself. You were always the prettier one."

She eyed her companion, her gaze kind. "Introspective how?"

[Arsele Girard]

"Well... part of coming here was escapism; I left my home behind, but also my family and my past. So seeing you has made me think about myself beyond living in the moment... especially with you asking about my future."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well, sorry about that, I guess." She frowned a bit. "Actually, no, I'm not. You need to think about your future." Good ole bossy Aly.

"You're better than this Arsele. I know you are."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele laughed, "Yeah, you definitely have nothing to be sorry about. And perhaps you're right too; Maybe I could one day own my own business, or maybe become a holovid star. Something bigger than odd jobs out of a tiny apartment."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Exactly. I can certainly see you as a holovid star." She smiled. "Arsele Gerard, singer with a thousand holo albums perhaps."

[Arsele Girard]

"Mmm... I could do something respectable. Or disrespectable..."

She gives a small smirk as she takes another gulp, "But I suppose that's just me being addicted to being rebellious."

[Alysele Cortess]

"I think... pretty rebels are in lately. You could have worse addictions, especially here." She took another sip.

[Arsele Girard]

"It can almost be more dangerous here, in a way; People are more tuned in to look for tricks and schemes, more desensitized to vice and sin. So it's a good and a bad thing."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well I can believe that. Still, I'm happy that is your thrill and not something more chemical." She eyed her glass, which was almost empty now. "Well, I would rather not keep you from wailing than Arsele. I know you're a busy woman."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele waved her hand dismissively, "No need to get to my gig too early. Are you sure I can't get you to dance a bit first?"

She tried her best puppy dog eyes with Aly.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well... perhaps one quick dance." she smiled at her friend. "As long as you are okay with me embarassing you."

[Arsele Girard]

"I assure you Aly, I would not mind that in the least."

Finishing her drink Arsele slid out of the booth, stretching lightly after she stands, "Going to be sitting all evening anyways... will be a good chance to get some exercise."

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly finished her own and stood up as well. "As long as you are leading." Rare was the day Alysele Cortess gave up leadership, but dancing in a club on Nar Shaddaa... yeah, she can do that.

"Fair warning, I haven't done dancing since our ballroom lessons from when we were young."

[Arsele Girard]

"Warning taken."

Arsele smiled at her friend and lead the way to the dance floor...

Some twenty minutes later, Arsele flopped back down in her seat, "Mmmmf! Yeah, exactly what I needed~~"

She had about five minutes before she should be leaving, but she at least wanted to cool off first.

[Alysele Cortess]

Instead of opposite, Aly sat down next to her, similarly flopping. "Who knew that lightsaber conditioning would be so helpful?" She giggled. "That was fun!"

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele gave a short nod, "Mmm mmm... And I don't know what you were warning me about; You were more than fine out there once you stopped being so unsure."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Yeah well, you know me. Improvisation was not my thing." Aly rested her head on Arsele's shoulder. "I missed you."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele offered a smile, "Happy to hear that, Aly dear. I was almost convinced you would have forgotten about me~"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Not quite." She sighed. "Sometimes.... sometimes it seemed my world was over, you know" Her voice was full of melancholy. "But not anymore!" She turned and hugged Arsele.

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele is genuinely surprised by that at first, causing her to tense up for a brief second before she lets out a relaxing breath and gives Alysele a hug in return.

"Yeah... I've definitely felt that before. Glad I could help you, even a little bit, Aly."

[Alysele Cortess]

"You were always someone to help me when I needed it Arsele. Now, I think I need to go." There was definitely some sadness in her voice. "I'll visit you tomorrow then?"

[Arsele Girard]

"At my ship, right? Don't worry, it's not grungy or anything like that."

She can't help but smile as she leans back; She had to go too... but that felt it could be left unsaid.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Be there then Arsele." She gave one final peck to her friend, before she stood up to leave.

"Enjoy your wailing."

[Arsele Girard]

"I shall try to do just that; You have a good rest, and come see me after that."

Another hug, then a wave, and she was off to get ready for work.
