"Yeah... I was just thinking it'll be disappointing if they post me the next time through even farther off into the ass end of nowhere than Tattooine," she says, shaking her head.

[Nekoinu]

"Well, here's to hoping you're somewhere close so you can stop by and visit." She smiled weakly and lowered her eyes. "Going to be really weird not to have you by everyday."

[Luth Khalan]

"Here's hoping." Asra looks toward her and then leans over, wrapping an arm over her shoulder and squeezing briefly before settling back down. "Yeah... I feel the same. But I already said that. You really have been like a sister to me."

[Nekoinu]

Casna was unable to help but laugh. "A sister that you flirt with?" She shook her head playfully and leaned back. "I hope whoever you end up partnering up with makes sure you're all snug at night."

[Luth Khalan]

"In the sense of mentor figure who's not old enough to be my mom. You know what I mean," she says, bumping into her. "Ha, that'd be nice. Doubt it, though." She picked up a toothpick and chewed on it lightly. It was a habit she'd had when they'd first met.

[Nekoinu]

"I do. And I'm sure you know I've always thought of you as a little sis since we've started working together." Casna let out a small laugh. "Maybe I should leave a set of instructions then." The spotter glanced at the toothpick and shook her head. "I still don't think that's good for your teeth."

[Luth Khalan]

"That's what the magic of cosmetic dentistry is for," she says, taking it out and holding it with a thumb and two fingers. "Though you're totally right."

[Nekoinu]

"You should find some other way to de-stress. I mean, we're already drinking and that's how I mellow out."

[Luth Khalan]

"I already go for long walks and also drink too much and make poor life choices," Asra says. "And chewing on things. Apparently I need to find another strategy."

[Nekoinu]

"I find our missions to be relaxing, honestly. It's soothing for me to do something so routine."

[Luth Khalan]

"Hmm... I guess I can see that. I never found it very relaxing. "

[Nekoinu]

"It's definitely different when you're the spotter. I know I'm responsible for the killing but I'm not pulling the trigger itself."

[Luth Khalan]

"Yeah. You can really feel it behind the gun," she says. "That sounded stupid out loud."

[Nekoinu]

"Well, I understood what you meant." She shrugged. "Maybe I ought to shoot more often than you, Asra."

[Luth Khalan]

"IT's really fine," she says. "It's not that far off anyway."

[Nekoinu]

"Alright." Casna gave her a consolatory smile. "If you ever want to talk about it or take some pills, lemme know, okay? That's what older sisters do, right?"

[Luth Khalan]

She smiles at her. "I'll take you up on both, how about," she suggests. "It's hard to describe, how it feels, you know? It's not exactly emotional."

[Nekoinu]

"Well you're always killing something. Slugthrowers tend to make it messier too, to be honest. Obviously better for us though than a blaster bolt showing where we are."

[Luth Khalan]

"Yeah, no cauterization," she mused. "Kinda useful that way, though. That's a horrible thing to say."

[Nekoinu]

"Eh it's good to see them bleed. Though it can be distracting." Casna shrugged.

[Luth Khalan]

"Good to see them bleed?" Asra asks.

[Nekoinu]

"To confirm the hit," she said with a perked brow. "What, do you think I'm some sort of psychopath or something?"

[Luth Khalan]

"I didn't think so, that's why it seemed weird," she says, raising her hands. "I mean, I can tell if it's a hit or a kill without that, so..."

[Nekoinu]

"Maybe there is a bit of a satisfaction to it." She looked away. "Now you're making me feel bad, Asra."

[Luth Khalan]

She sighs. "Sorry, that's not what I was trying for. I was saying you didn't seem like a psycho."
