[Yslane Tssilla]

"Point taken, though I would imagine there are arguments among your number on that." Yslane took a sip, "And I do have to wonder what those roles are..."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"That's what I have to figure out for myself I guess... since I'm in that category to many now." He smiled weakly.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"You still can use the Force, I am not sure how weak that can make you among the Sith... certainly still above those that can not." Yslane replied, "Still it is a chance to see the world from a new perspective."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"The Force is just one of many tools people can use to make them strong... My father did not have the Force, but was one of the most powerful men in the galaxy... Power is always situational. To me... all people have some use somewhere. It's just a matter of finding the right conditions to get optimal results."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I'm not sure I would be so willing to make such cold sounding calculations," Yslane frowned, "Didn't you once tell me your father's lack of Force power was a contributor to his downfall?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Potentially... but he did fine for many years without it." He replied.

"Someone merely found a weakpoint and exploited it at a crucial moment."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A common occurrence in the Empire no?" Yslane shakes her head, "Exploiting the weakness of others, even if it ruins a useful asset? Power at any cost?"

"...how goes your changing of rivers with spoons."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Broke my spoon... gotta find a new one." He said with a smile.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I suggest a bigger one." She replies with a shake of the head and a rye smile, "Though it sounds like you are down to the resources for a teaspoon."

He chuckled, "For now..."

He smiled, "You seem to be getting way too much sick pleasure out of this."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I'm tired emotionally and physically, my life just encountered a major change, and my former Master is plotting to buy me a silly hat," Yslane shrugged, "Which do you want....biting sarcasm or crying into my drink."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I'll take whatever you got."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Biting sarcasm it is," She smirked.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Biting's not really my thing... but whatever floats your boat. I'm sure you could find someone for almost any type of proclivity on this moon." He said with a teasing smile.

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane frowned, though it was clearly mock outrage, "A Jedi doesn't think about such things...."

Then more seriously, "Things have really fallen apart on this moon, it looks like our first assessment was....an underestimation. Hopefully the situation will improve on this moon, but I doubt the Hutts have learned the correct lessons in benevolence."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"You remember our chat on how a good fire can help clear the path for new growth...?" He asked. "The explosions last night were probably not enough to jar this place loose from the control of wretched slugs."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Not all the Hutts are such," Yslane grimaces, "...its their philosophy that colors many of their views, the nature of the relations with each other and thus the non-Hutt species they deal with."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I'm not here to get too philosophical... but I think you see how entrenched many of these hutts are... and how what they do is not in the best interests of the people."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I do not shed tears for their loss of face and power." Yslane replies, "But more then enough can be shed for the innocent bystanders caught up in this."

"...but at least the talks are moving forward. Perhaps some good will come out of this."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "I hope so... I'd like a vacation after all this... even if for a moment."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I think neither of us will get one...even if peace comes," Yslane chuckled, "If the Council approves and I become a Jedi....well the galaxy needs the Order now more then ever. To help rebuild, to hunt down the vultures who prey on the weak and refugees, and to heal a wounded populace."

"And you are a man stripped of a patron and much of the power that brought....in a society that consumes the weak. I'm sure your own climb to Baras's apprentice was not without a number of enemies."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He tilted his head, "It is probably best for me to disappear for a while to be honest... consolidate a base, become stronger and return with something of value to the Empire and those loyal to me..."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Be careful in the shadows," Yslane cautioned, "Not that it needs to be said...given the events of the last few days. Still who knows what other dangers are hiding in the dark."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "Any advice you could give is always welcome... I hope that if there is peace there could be an opportunity for continued correspondence."
