Chaos abounded in his mind and in the streets.... he needed a reprieve. He saw that the Cantina still mostly stood and when he went inside he was surprised to see that there were still people acting as if nothing had happened. He sat down at a table and in a moment of uncharacteristic weakness decided to clear his mind with a game..

Sylvain had moved over to the bar to get himself a bit of caffeine to get him through the morning when the woman walked up. He nodded a greeting as she drew near and took a sip of his kaffe.

As she waited for Grukim to go get her chit, Arsele found a bar stool next to Sylvain, sitting down and crossing her legs before ordering an iced kaffe, black.

"Mmmf; Guess we're both lucky this place doesn't just serve alcohol, hm?" she said in a tired voice.

He chuckled, "Every good cantina needs a way to make some drunks a bit more lucid before sending them home."

"...I suppose that's one way to look at it; Most cantinas down here don't bother to think about that sort of thing though. I suppose I can think of a few reasons the Viper might be different. Suppose I could always ask some time though..."

He chuckled, "Let me know the answer."

He nodded his head politely, "Sylvain Torsin is my name."

"Arsele Girard; I work here normally."

She gave him a smile.

"What brings you out here so early on the cycle Mister Torsin?"

He chuckled, "Felt like being a little less prudent than normal. Got laid off from my job..."

"That's rough. Well, at least you're just here for kaffe and not early drinking, like many would do around here."

"If I show up drunk already back at my friend's apartment I'll get scolded... Decided to try my luck on the tables instead of getting drunk. Not much of a gambler... but since my luck had been so bad I guess fate favored me with some money..." He said.

"Scolded?"

There was a soft smile there, "Well, I guess it's always good to have friends to keep us in line. ...are you a local then, or was the job something that brought you here? If you don't mind my asking that is."

He nodded, "I do have some good friends."

That's about all I have left...

"I was an apprentice and chief spymaster to an influential member of the Sith Empire." He said with a chuckle.

"Ah... so you came here with the delegations perhaps?"

He nodded, "Been one of the chief negotiators for these dealings..."

He chuckled, "Seem to have done a bang-up job haven't I?"

"I... don't know I suppose. I have had a lot on my plate myself, and troubles with things besides the Empire or the Republic."

Which was the truth; It had been more than a couple of days since she'd last seen the news.

"You couldn't have missed the explosions last night though?" He asked.

Arsele rubbed the bridge of her nose after a moment of looking at the man, "Explosions... no, I definitely did not hear any explosions last night. But then, I was kind of out of it last night. Still kind of am; Apologies."

He looked somewhat surprised by that answer but nodded, "You must have some pretty big troubles then... anything you need help on?"

"Not... that I know of. It was more an interpersonal thing; Someone I know said they were involved in something dangerous, so they came over to my place to confide some things in me before they went to take care of it. So I had trouble sleeping and had to take something. ...now I guess I just hope those two things aren't related."

"What's your friends name? I've got a pretty good grasp of who was related to these terrorist attacks. If he was caught up in it I might know."

She looked at him a moment, wondering if Z would appreciate being mentioned to a Sith spy. But then she remembered he was a FORMER Sith spy. And Zane could take care of himself.

"Zanebry; Former military."

He shook his head, "Not a major player in the attacks."

"Fair enough. That would be a bit much of a coincidence."

She let out a small chuckle.

He chuckled himself, "This moon has a way of tying people together in unusual ways..."
