What You Want (D4 EE)

[Javagus Khan]

Javagus returned to the Cantons, taking his previous table and ordering an ale to keep him company. When the server brings it around, however, he mentions that he's looking to set up a meeting with Corso.

Message sent, he settles in to wait, casually watching the crowd around him (and half-looking for Shae).

[Dapper Dog]

A Mandalorian in armor stands at his table and says through his helmet, "Corso will see you, upstairs."

[Javagus Khan]

"Much obliged." He leaves his ale at the table, a free drink for someone, and heads up the steps as directed.

[Dapper Dog]

Corso is seated upstairs in the VIP area with Shae standing behind him wearing her armor minus the helmet. She offers a small smile for Javagus but is otherwise quiet. Corso stands and offers his hand and says, “Welcome, I believe you know who I am and you are Javagus Khan, right?”

Down below a whiphid group begins playing some live music for the growing crowd.

Javagus steps forward and firmly shakes the man's hand. "Right as rain on both accounts." He wink at Shae, then turns back to Corso.

"Even if we don't end up closin' any business, let me thank you for the meetin'. I know your time is valuable."

[Corso Fett]

Corso nods and takes a seat pouring a brown liquor for them both. He says, “Wonderful whiskey from a small backwater called Bankor, not much of a world but they make good whiskey. So what can you do for me, Mr. Khan?”

Javagus seats himself, tries the whiskey, and nods in approval. "Nice, smooth taste to it."

He points using the hand holding the glass. "Most important word I've got is 'weapons.' Most days, I'm pitchin' chemical weapons. Man like yourself, I'm thinkin' that I don't need to point out how useful it is to have the right weapon for the job."

He takes another sip of whiskey and leans forward. "I'm with Yamasaki Chemicals. Most of our clients, they're interested in removin' large numbers of undesirables without tearin' up the infrastructure. Bombardment and thermal detonators tend to cause a whole lot of collateral damage. Our weapons don't even ruin the paint."

"If you're lookin' for something more personal, though, we've got a wide selection of personal antagonism weapons. Gas grenades, vibro-poisons, a whole suite of battle chems...." He gestures with his hands "We've got this one kinda poison you can press into just about any shape imaginable. One of the girls in the lab made a full dress out of it, put anyone that danced with her in the grave by the time it was over, save for those she kissed. Antidote right there in the lipstick. Great for targettwd assassinations, that one."

"And, of course, we've got chemical weapons of mass destruction of all colors and flavors, if'n you're into that thing." He leans back and holds out his hands to the side. "I'm here to facilitate your needs, hopefully make a bunch of credits in the process."

Then, as an afterthough: "Oh, I've also got a frankly stupid number of more traditional weapons burnin' a hole in my cargo hold.Figure I can probably give you a right good price on those, since I don't have an embargo slapped against me like some other dealers."

[Corso Fett]

Corso chuckles and says, “Every tool and weapon has a purpose. That sounds impressive Mr. Khan. Any chance we could get a demonstration of these weapons? I like to get my hands dirty and never ask a soldier to do something I would not do myself.”

[Javagus Khan]

"Difference between a soldier and politician, that. You're welcome to test out the traditional weapons whenever your schedule allows. For the chemicals, I think I've got a few grenades stowed away on the ship, along with a few canisters of poisonous gas.anythig more exotic than that, I'll just need some time to have them shipped in from the nearest hub."

[Corso Fett]

“Bring some weapons to Nal Hutta, tomorrow for a hunt and we will see just how nice they are. Here is an advance of 1500 credits,” he says placing a data chit on the table between them.

“If I like what I see, I will purchase your lot and the chemicals.”

[Javagus Khan]

Javagus finishes the last of hia whiskey and scoops up the credit chip. "Sounds like a plan. I'm hopin' that everythin' meets your needs."

He motions to Shae. "Mind if I have a quick word with the bird 'fore I leave you to it?"

[Corso Fett]

Corso says, "We are done here, have at it." He looks at Shae curiously and then departs with two armored Mandalorians following him.

Javagus waits until Corso has left. "How you doin', love?"

[Dapper Dog]

Javagus waits until Corso has left. "How you doin', love?"

“I am good… so I am a bird now?” Shae says with some confusion.

“Is that a Coruscant thing? It better be a bird of prey, not some stupid songbird.”

[Javagus Khan]

"Hah, suppose so. Back on Coruscant, it's slang for a young woman you've got a thing for." He grins and hops to his feet. "Not sure what sort of bird you'd be. Definitely somethin' with talons."

[Dapper Dog]

“Interesting,” is her response to that information.

“I may have to visit Coruscant see why birds are held in such high esteem. I am still figuring out what this thing is, Khan. What else do they do on Coruscant with those they have a thing for, cyare?”

[Javagus Khan]

"There's a fair amount of goin' out drinkin' and tourin' bedrooms." He shrugs. "Suppose I could take you out to bars and insult some tough guys to watch you beat 'em up."

[Dapper Dog]

“You like to hunt?” she asks.

[Javagus Khan]

"Haven't ever tried it. Wouldn't mind givin' it a go, if that's something you like. I've had a bit of practice with a blaster, here and there."

[Dapper Dog]

“Tomorrow we’ll hunt then, something big and deadly to get the blood flowing. We’ll make a soldier of you yet, Khan,” she says with a slight tease in her tone.

“Nal Hutta has pretty rough terrain and even rougher prey.”

[Javagus Khan]

"You don't really believe in easin' a guy into things gently, then. Good to know." He shakes his head in mock exasperation, then smirks and takes a half-step closer.

"How about you come by the ship tonight? I can show you the weapons ahead of time, you can tell me a bit more about these dangerous animals..." His eyebrows raise suggestively. "I've got a bunk you might be interested in seein' from a few different angles."

[Dapper Dog]

She gives him a withering look but smirks and says in a teasing tone, "I'll consider it cyare, at least to see the merchandise."

[Javagus Khan]

"Dock 214, if you find the time." Javagus raises his hands in a defensive manner. "I'm going to go and let you get back to your Mandalorian things, but worth notin' that I had a good time the other night. Hopin' it wasn't just too much ale, but if you want to leave it at that, it's your call, love."

[Dapper Dog]

“I enjoyed the ale and the company, and I am not being coy just cautious. I like you, but I do things my way. Keep the light on and I’ll find my way, cyare,” she responds with a smile.

[Javagus Khan]

"Fair enough." He lowers his hands and smiles. "Hope the evening goes well, love. Tell Corso I appreciate the meetin'."

Javagus makes an elaborate bow and leaves the room, working his way out of the bar. He's barely reached the entrance when his datapad beeps at him, informing him of a recently placed order. "Shadow Town... that should be fun."
