"Today is a lovely day for a convention, Huttcon is in full swing and we expect all the big stars to come out today! I am looking forward to the big Cosplay Contest! I believe Jin Vaya is a guest judge! Should be a great time," Jerri says with a smile.

"... and in more somber news for the Empire the Hutt transporst Guza Vin has been lost with all hands, a terrible tragedy as a Sith dignitary by the name of Darth Baras was on board. We will stay with story all day as more information comes to us. The Hutts have issued no statement yet as to the cause of the accident," Jerri says with a somber look. (Scrutiny modified by -0.3)

"This just in Giradda has issued a statement on the alleged Huttball Game Fixing fiasco, all bets for the Valkyries game yesterday have been seized until it can be determined who is at fault for issue. Giradda has put out the word that until this matter can be resolved all bookies are to refrain from taking any bets. The games will go on though," Jerri says before moving on to the weather

OOC: Bets for the Valkyrie game have been seized, no payouts, and Betting is on hold until the Hutts solve the problem.

"You going to take the Empire's offer?"
"No, what offer?"
"Ah, that's right... you had a hot date with the Corellian mechanic.... Turns out some Imp aruetii is hiring Mando'ade, many as want it."
"What, the Sith got a job or something?"
"That's the funny bit, not Sith. Imp officer, older lady. Showed up at the Viper last night and to any Kelborn, Ordo, or anyone else whose clan leader was against Corso becomin' the next Mandalore. Promised a job, credits and support, till that happens too."
"Hwa?"
"Yeah, you just need to go over to the Imperial embassy and give'm your name and you're golden!"

"Yeah, that Imp bitch was offering people hope and dreams, and cash so they didn't just play brigand too."
"Yeah, but before that! She tried to meet with Kyr'ad Kelborn, talk him into joining her."
"Stupid bit, anyone who knew Kyr'ad would know he'd never go for that. Surely he didn't?"
"Nah, but thing is she called him a coward and a traitor to his face."
"And he didn't kill her?"
"I know, right! He just stood there and took it!"
"Maybe he's lost his nerve... he is kinda old now."
"Yeah, and she said that Kyr'ad was going to be the death of clan Kelborn unless he supported Corso. Might be right too, after what happened with Clan Nodd...."

"I overheard that Imp officer yesterday in one of the Hutt conference rooms.... sounded like she was talking with someone important."
"Oh? What about?"
"That's the thing... she was talking about the senators... the one from Dantooine specifically. Said he was dirty or something because he'd said that she liked a bit of skulduggery..."
"'Skulduggery'? You getting delusions of grandeur? That was probably just said for your benefit. Imperial propoganda."
"But what if it's true?"
"If it's true, then you should probably just shut it right now. Either he's clean and you're lying or he's dirty and you'd do well to keep your head down and not cross her."

Early on in the new Galactic Standard Day, broadcasts across the moon were taken over once more. Once more the setting was a blank room with a single figure standing in the middle garbed in goggles, masks, and a hoodie for anonymity. However this time, the speaker was a woman. "It disappoints me that the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire have not recognized our authority. I expected such audacity from the Hutts but not from such respectable governments.

"It is for this reason that we have decided to enact a conference to coincide with 'HuttCon.' Across the System, there will be spectacles for you to enjoy. Today's special event is the death of Evangeline Ulter."

The camera cut over to the woman's shuttle in transit. Moments afterward, another speeder rammed into it and a couple men jumped out onto the victim. One of them was shot and slid off the vehicle while the other set up a detonation charge. The explosion was enough to send it plummeting to the ground.
