"Ah, before I forget, Darth Xevious is a member of the Dark Council, serve him with diligence and fear, but do not forget who your true master is," Baras adds darkly and then the hologram ends.

Sylvain nods one last time before the hologram disappears. He then returns to his seat and reclines back a bit comfortably.

Asra exhales and just shakes her head, grabbing a protein bar and dropping into a seat.

Wilhelm leans in the doorway and says to the two female soldiers, "So... uhh, I was think I know this place in the Red Light District, if the Siths give us shore leave, got some of the best gambling around. You in?"

She chews thoughtfully for a few seconds and swallows before answering. "Not much to gamble right now. Wouldn't hurt to take a look, though."

Sylvain looked at the three non-Sith in turn, "There will be time for entertainment, but Baras' arrival that early will necessitate some work in the next few days. We will need you on call until then."

He then looked to Asra, "Don't sweat Baras' way. He's not very pleasant but he gets the job done."

Ensign Reshir adds, "I will be sure to keep the enlisted personnel in line my lord. I expect you all to maintain Combat Readiness at all times. We will not fail Darth Baras, our lives for the sanctity of the Empire."

"Corporal," she says to Asra tapping at a datapad, "I have sent you the full volume of Imperial Uniform Code 54-C with both appendices. You will not embarrass this command again with your sloppy attention to detail."

"I don't. Had worse people in charge," she said. She sets down the food. "Yes, Ensign. It won't happen again."

"It will not," she agrees firmly. She takes a seat and eats politely as she reads over her reports on her datapad. Wilhelm shrugs from his corner with a lopsided smile.

"No skin off my back," he says with usual swagger. "I got enough booze to last."

Asra gets up and heads into her quarters, shoulders slightly drooped in tiredness - it felt like she'd gone through the entire day already - and she returns in proper uniform a few minutes later before picking up her protein bar and resuming eating.

Casna remained sitting and hailed her partner over. Her eyes shifted to the others and then back to Asra. "I thought I taught you better than that. Reflects badly on me." Her voice was slightly scolding, typical for her. But ultimately she seemed relaxed, used to being submissive to superiors. "Well, you weren't chosen for your wits," she added with laugh.

"I am crashing, wake me up when we get to Nar Shaddaa," Wilhelm says and then retreats to his quarters.

Sylvain nodded and turned to the Ensign. "Anything of interest Ensign?"

"Apparently so," she replied after coming over, pushing the irritation down into a little ball in her chest, swallowing so it didn't come out in her voice... mostly. It wasn't like it would do her any good, and was more likely just to make things worse. Not having slept the previous night wasn't helping... and was probably part of the reason behind the events of this morning.

Sylvain nodded and turned to the Ensign. "Anything of interest Ensign?"

"Basic field reports, Intelligence assessments, I will compile them and prepare a brief. I deliver them promptly to our lord, daily," she nods to Layne, "But I do not think she reads them, as is her prerogative of course."

She furrows her brow and says, "I can have a copy delivered to you if you like, my lord."

He nodded, "See that you do. It would be nice to have at least one set of eyes look over them, whether or not she wished to admit it Nar Shadaa is not a place to run in blindly."

He took a polite sized bite of his bar and chewed it softly, "What is your background Ensign?"

"I was trained for Communication duties, went to University for Computer Information Security and Signals Intelligence. Graduated top of my class, served under Captain Grendal for six months before Darth Baras assigned me to this post under my lord," she nods to Layne.

"It is well documented that any posting in direct service to Sith improves the odds of advancement by 87%. Of course there is also a higher than normal fatality rate as well."

Sylvain nodded, "An impressive dossier. Let us hope you fit within the proper percentage of those who survive and reach advancement. If your Lord ever... fails in her duties and doesn't take you down with her, I would be more than pleased to make use of your skills."

"Might not be a bad idea. Usually don't dream with that," she admits after a short silence. "Sleepwalking's a concern, though."

"We could restrain you to the bed," Casna suggested, half-joking, and without any flirting connotation. She then shook her head and munched more on her food. "I still don't understand why you are having these nightmares. I never had any when I was your age."

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne had been in quiet contemplation since the call ended, letting the conversation flow around her until she could so no more.

"Stop trying to charm my crew," she said, eyes focused elsewhere, "It isn't very nice. Besides, if I'm going down, I'll take down everyone else along with me."

"Such a lovely sentiment." Sylvain said with a smirk.

"And putting your vassals to proper use isn't what I'd call 'charming' but you must have a different opinion."
