[Nekoinu]

"Hey, people don't always have to be willing to sell for us to get what we want..." She gulped down the rest of her drink and let the implication sit.

Zuraa nodded. "I doubt it's a bust. Nobody supplies him with faulty goods and lives very long."

The padawan perked a brow. "What do you mean by that?"

[Alysele Cortess]

She frowned again. What was being proposed was... well. Grey. "We'll see.... it would be good to take those out of circulation, but let's see what are the goods first. Forward me what info you have on him, nonetheless." She waved towards her datapad.

"I'll take a look later. When do you want to pay a visit? Can you get away from your master, or do I need to commandeer you?"

Finally, she put the glass down. "Are you just after credits? Or something more... specific?"

[Nekoinu]

Zuraa nodded and forwarded the information to Alysele without any flair.

"Master Mersl likes to keep tabs on me. We will have to come up with something to get her off my back."

She exhaled and then smirked. "Ah. Well, what sort of woman would I be if I gave away all of my secrets? I'm not going to pry into your life." She smirked. "Unless you really want me to."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well, I think we can work something out. A field trip perhaps." She checked her pad for the details, but nothing jumped out at her. Not like being an analyst was one of her stronger suits.

"Well.... let's leave it at that for now." She glanced up at the Falleen. "For now. You mentioned the Black Sun? They're a slaver gang." Her voice was even.

[Nekoinu]

"Master Mersl might not buy it. She's got a way with figuring me out. Pretty annoying." She shrugged. "Guess we can worry about her when we need to."

Zuraa let out a laugh. "Not just slavery. If you can name something illegal, then the Black Sun is probably involved in it," she remarked with a bit of pride.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Master Mersl might not buy it. She's got a way with figuring me out. Pretty annoying." She shrugged. "Guess we can worry about her when we need to."

Zuraa let out a laugh. "Not just slavery. If you can name something illegal, then the Black Sun is probably involved in it," she remarked with a bit of pride.

"We'll work something out, when we get to that. Let's wait and see how does the actual situation looks with the Hutts." She smirked. "And how does that work on Nar Shadda? I thought nothing is illegal there."

[Nekoinu]

"I imagine the Hutts are pleased to be recognized and that they're happy that we're paying them for all of this." She smirked. "I can't imagine they'd supply all this out of kindness."

Zuraa shook her head and held up her finger. "There are laws. Ones dictated by the Hutts. Pay them, don't mess with their business. But I suppose you're right. I meant that Black Sun meddles in dealings that are not legal in Republic space."

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly nodded in understanding. "Well... that is useful, especially where we're going. You have any contacts on Nar Shadda?" She wasn't exactly happy about the Black Sun... but desperate times apparently?

[Nekoinu]

The padawan shrugged. "Somewhat. They're more like my dads but as his daughter I have a little bit of sway." She passed along her datapad, with various crime lord profiles on the screen, and shrugged. "I know of them but I don't really know them."

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly's face was stoic, as she looked over the names. "So, if we need to, we have some ins, at least." She scrolled down, her left index finger flipping through the virtual pages of the pad.

"What are your plans when we touch down? Besides the... goods."

[Nekoinu]

"I'm going to stay at the compound for the most part," she admitted, "I'm supposed to be helping Senator Fatty after all." Zuraa finished the rest of her glass and poured out another one for herself. "It shouldn't be so hard. And if anyone on the list strikes your fancy, feel free to use my name."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well, that sounds boring." She tucked away that information, to be on the safe side. Who knows, perhaps getting a way in with the senator via Zuura would be good. "Thank you. I'l certainly do so. Have you been to Nar Shaddaa before?"

[Nekoinu]

"Eh, won't be so bad I think. I wouldn't have chosen it if it was going to be boring." Zuraa looked at her glass of scotch and then smirked. "Good thing I'm not paying for this, huh? You don't think the Hutts would be so cheap as to charge per the bottle, right?"

She paused. "I'm still not the one paying for it. Anyways, I haven't since the Jedi took me in. What about you? I heard it's a hot vacation spot for young Aldeeranian nobles."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Well, from what I hear about the Hutts, I wouldn't be exactly surprised, if they do charge for it. But hey, I'm a Jedi, I don't have a budget. The order can handle it." She replied with a smirk.

She looked at her empty glass. Nomrally, she wasn't one for drinking, but the talk with Ni and Ys had her rattled a bit... she thought she was over the whole ordeal, but apparently not.

"You were born there? And no, not yet." She looked morose at the mention of nobles. "Yeah... not that there are many young Aldeeranian nobles left. If I see any of them, I'm going to kick them so hard that they'll enter hyperspace."

[Nekoinu]

"Guess being in the Order has some perks after all," she said before taking another sip from her glass. Zuraa then shook her head. "Naw, I was born on Falleen, the planet. Kind of 'typical' I guess but whatever."

She paused for a moment before a moment of clarity sparked in her eyes. "Oh, yeah, I heard about that one noblewoman. Something Organa, right?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Rayne. I knew her." She continued to be morose, before extending her glass for another refill.

"Typcal, yeah, I can see that. Never been to Falleen before. Or ever."

[Nekoinu]

"Oh. That sucks." Zuraa fidgeted in her seat for a few moments. "Want to talk about it? Oh and Falleen, the planet, isn't that interesting. It's not a desert planet like Tatooine or a jungle planet like Kashyyyk. Most interesting part of it is the people, not to sound super arrogant."

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly smirked at the last comment. "Hmph. Well, at least one of them is." She offered to the padawan.

"Not much to talk about... I was engaged to her brother for a short while, before I was taken. Haven't spoken to her since. Never will."

[Nekoinu]

"You're too kind," she replied, a bit less flirtatious than her usual self due to the circumstances. "Still sucks for someone you know to have died. But wait, you said you were engaged? That's a story to tell."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Not really. I was 5, he was 5, my family wanted to get closer to the Organas, we got engaged, I got taken, engagement got broken off." She shrugged, the motion elegant and graceful as always. "It happens in certain circles."

[Nekoinu]

"I was hoping it was a more exciting story. But I guess that makes sense." Zuraa set her glass down and let out a small sigh. "Guess it was kind of freeing, huh? Or did you want to marry him?" she added with a teasing grin.

[Alysele Cortess]

She shrugged again. "At the time? I was happy about it. A 5 year old, marrying a cute prince, to one day be all important and pretty? You could've signed me up twice! I wasn't asked about it, but I wasn't asked about being a Jedi either, so." She gazed into the distance. "That was in the past though, so not like it matters." Maybe if I keep telling myself that I'll believe it.

[Nekoinu]

"He's cute? Now I really want to meet him," she said with a laugh. "Oh and Lady Cortess? You're already pretty." She continued to giggle as she took another sip from her glass.

"Again, you're sounding like Master Mersl. She tries to tell me that my connections with the Black Sun can be a thing of the past if I want them to. I guess the key word is 'want.'"

[Alysele Cortess]

"He's here on the ship." She didn't say further though. She respected Ni enough not to send the Falleen after her... and besides, she needs to do some work!

The scarlet blushing was highly visible on her pale skin, as she looked down. What is happening today? She wasn't used to this. "Thank you Zuura. "

She straightened herself. "Well, that is how the order operates usually." She flashed a wry smile. "Usually."

"I'll just look for an Organa. Can't be too many on this ship, right?"

The Falleen gave the noblewoman a teasing look. "You're welcome, Lady Cortess. But, hmm, what are you implying with 'usually?'"
