I realize that sometimes I can be abrasive or annoying, and honestly, it bothers me at times too. I have previously said things in OOC that have upset or put out people and I can't stress enough that it's not my intention to do so. I have a very mercurial personality and difficulty dealing with people which can cause me to be ingratiating or even sycophantic at times, shifting blame and making excuses at others, and stubborn and argumentative at others. I sometimes push people away or push their buttons. I have been trying to work on this for some time, which was part of the reason I ran through the last Hollow Throne game as anonymously as I could. So that I could try to have a clean outlook on the community and try to be better for the newer members of it. But habits and personality issues are not so easy to eliminate. Sometimes I am like this subconsciously, sometimes it's completely unintended, other times it's because I'm feeling defensive or depressed.

I promise that I am trying to be a better person to play with, and I apologize profusely to anyone I have been less than pleasant with. There is no excuse for such behavior and the community deserves better. Please, don't be afraid to call me on it if you see it, because I want to be a better player and that will only serve to help me recognize my issues. I look forward to many more years playing with the community and hope that they will only get better with time. I've seen too many step away and I don't want to be someone that contributes to that or to be that person in the future.

Hey no worries. People sometimes have their bad moments or grind each other the wrong way. Just keep working at it and hopefully you'll get back. Do enjoy having around and you have some interesting characters. I never personally had a problem with you. Characters not getting along IC is perfectly fine as it can lead to interesting stories.

I haven't found your playstyle or actions to be of any issue myself, so you haven't done wrong around me. However, I do understand that there are many levels of socializing even in pretendy-fun-times in role-playing. It can be hard. Sometimes these issues are real or are ultimately imagined, which doesn't lessen the impact it may have on your perception. It can be easy for anxiety to build up and can take a mind of their own, snowballing to other matters. It's not easy to give feedback to others and it can be harder to ask for it. I do understand the concern and I too appreciate that you have that desire to improve, which that bit of self-awareness does matter.

Sorry for the slight ramble. Ultimately, what I'm trying to say is that I think you're doing fine and I hope things do improve in the direction you seek.
