[Dapper Dog]

"My only plan is to destroy Baras, he is coming here, isn't he?" she asks.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"It seems that is why you are here, so I assume you already know that to be true." He replied.

"How do you hope to defeat him?" He asked.

[Dapper Dog]

“By separating his head from his body… would be the ideal. Though I am sure I will employ some excessive amount of violence. I had the opportunity to kill Layne, I still regret not taking it,” she says wistfully.

“Time was sadly of the essence.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"And this will lead to what? You speak of reshaping the Empire... What is the end game mother? It doesn't appear to be anything related to father... You wish to take Baras' place?" He replied.

[Dapper Dog]

"I am no Baras, I am a weapon honed to a keen edge, son. Perhaps you should replace him," she says testing the waters.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain paused for several moments thinking deeply, "As much as that is my eventual goal... I must admit that without some additional power I would not last long among all the other powerful lords of the Empire."

"Our name has weight in this Empire, yes. But there are those on the council who would just as likely see the Empire and its nobles burn... My skills with the force will need to improve; do you have the ability to teach me as Baras would? I am feel I am not the same kind of 'weapon' you are."

[Dapper Dog]

"Baras trained me in the Force and I have learned more, I would be your mother and your Master. Together we would be unstoppable," she says with conviction.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded, "Your offer is appealing mother... Baras must be removed for the benefit of the Empire."

He looked up, "But I foresee many potential issues between you and I going forward... You have spent your entire life lying to me... it makes it difficult to fully put my trust in what you are saying..."

[Dapper Dog]

"We are Sith, you should get used to lies," she counters.

"My lies were to protect you."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Fair enough." Sylvain replied. "Though I'm not sure how I should interpret this kind of affection quite yet... I foresee your 'disappointment' for what I become potentially turning your love for me into hate eventually. Perhaps I will end up much like father... devoted to you and ultimately abandoned to die for your convenience."

He looked intently into his mother's eyes, "What is it you desire most mother... power and freedom are only means to an end. What is it that drives you, what is it you are searching for? The image of you in our home... of the years you spent raising me... and this image you are showing me now, are so different."

[Dapper Dog]

"The only thing that matters is you, I would kill the Emperor if he tried to harm you," she says.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain paused and thought on that for several moments.

"So... what is it you require of me mother?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I require you to be my son, nothing more... either help me kill Baras or stay out of the way," she says.

"That is what I am asking. What is your plan? What do you require of me?" He asked.

[Dapper Dog]

He nods and before he has time to say farewell she is gone.

Slyvain walked over to his chair and sat down heavily. He raised his hand to the bridge of his nose and began massaging, a habit he shared with his father.

Oh father... what should I do?

Sylvain closed his eyes and began to work through the scenario in his mind. Finding he optimal solution for this problem would definitely take some time...
