Day 3 EE: Fire and Ice

Baes had to admire to herself that she was nervous. She knew Layne, which was more of an aquired taste, and she did not truly know the second Jedi exept from what she had seen...

Could be explosive

Added to that she would be covering Layne's tab...she could swear that her meager wallet looked angry at her

She sat in the middle of the chosen booth, expecting

[Alysele Cortess]

Ice arrived soon enough, dressed in the white robes Bae has seen her in. She was also carefully handling her left arm as she gingerly sat down and placed her arm.

"Hello. Thank you for arranging this" She looked around the place... could be worse.

[Layne Hoshin]

Layne arrived, looking every part the young sith warrior. Which was to say, dark armored robes, two lightsabers at her side, and a whole lot of 'mean' in her eyes. Although perhaps her eyes were a little softer than Baesal remembered. She might have had a few scrapes and bruises after the day's fighting too, but those were largely covered up by her attire.

After entering, it took her only a moment to spot Baesal, and headed over... before unceremoniously sitting down like she owned the entire booth. Eyes moving between the two jedi across from her.

"So..." she uttered, leaving the rest unsaid.

[Dapper Dog]

A young kid with multicolored punk hair follows Layne to the table and says, "Hey Darth Serious so who are you killing today?"

Daz in the house.

Baes smiled and nodded to Alysele when she arrived

"No problem"

She did the same when Layne arrived

"Thank you for accepting the invitation...allow me to present you both. Layne, this is Jedi Knight Alysele Cortess. Alysele, this is Darth Baras's apprentice Layne Hoshin"

She eyed the kid

"This is a private meeting, please leave us."

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah... I'm her student," he says looking at Baesal.

"Are you a Jedi... that's totslly wiz."

[Layne Hoshin]

Oh for fuck's sake...

Layne resisted the urge to facepalm and/or smack a kid.

"I told you to stay on the ship," she said, glaring at Daz.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal slowly turns to Layne with a smile creeping on her face

"Apprentice?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"I did not agree to that," she said, continuing to glare.

"And I won't if you keep being difficult and unforthcoming."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well Jedi I might be on the market, I'm pretty much the chosen one of the Force," Daz says with a smile.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Not until you bathe." was Aly's response.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Look, just ignore him for now. You wanted to talk to me, so let's talk."

Layne leaned back into her seat, and looked around for alcohol, since she was going to need it.

"Are there drinks yet?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I'm sorry Princess, guess I should have begged my slave masters to bathe me more regularly," he says with the rolling of his eyes.

[Baesal Zyn]

"Slavers are the worst" she confirmed before ordering drinks for the gals and a soda for Daz

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele promptly ignored the little boy and started her topic while the drinks were arriving.

"So, I wanted to ask about your escapades on Alderaan.*

[Layne Hoshin]

She turned to the 'princess' then. "Yeah?"

And casually slung an arm over the back of her seat. Probably looking offensively nonchalant in the process. "What about them?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Why did you kill your target?" he princess was unbothered. This woman was annoying... but after the last few days she was too tired to get annoyed at a random sith.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Would you believe me if I said he was a bad guy?"

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele. "Depends what you mean by bad guy." She continued to be even

[Layne Hoshin]

"You know, I'm really not sure I should tell you anything. It's not like the Jedi share details of *their* missions with the Sith, do they?"

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele frowned. "You're right. Would you like a description of my past opponents?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"I don't particularly care. You're kind of below my radar after all. But sure, why not, let's call it a trust-building exercise."

[Dapper Dog]

"So is this some kind of face off of who's the better killer? I figured Jedi were above that nonsense, I mean Darth Rancor Face I would expect that but a Jedi... that's not what Vera Hawke would do. Worst Jedi ever," Daz points out.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal tried to hold a grin in

"Maybe I should put the slave collar back on," she mused out loud.
