Salreia shook her head. "No. And I believe that is why I find it such a shame in the first place. I hope for a time where young men as handsome as you can grow up without such troubles." She gave a playful grin. "Or such lovely ladies."

He nodded, "One day perhaps... though young love isn't about to go anywhere even without war."

"I know what you're referring to. I've seen a few exceptions to that rule, mind you, but you have a point." She smirked and shook her head. "Young love. Always so full of dramatics."

He nodded, "Indeed... but for some... the results are worth the cost."

He chuckled, "I'm nothing if not tenacious."

"Well, I hope you don't get too bogged down by it, handsome. I'd hate for that lovely hair of yours to turn gray prematurely." She leaned back and thought for a moment. "I wonder how the original Lucena Darklight is doing."

He shook his head, "Probably living a fairly simple life of higher standards than most... You should look her up. With Xevious' assets it shouldn't be too tough."

"Oh I easily could. I was simply hoping you could let me know. After all, who better to ask than her successor?"

He chuckled, "I'm not that much of a fan... it was pretty much the only show father allowed us to watch because it was so Imperial in nature."

"That is positively adorable," Salreia mused. Her smile turned a bit more solemn. "I have heard much about your father, only praise in terms of his character."

"And in his other aspects? Not one of the Empire's top ten silver foxes?" He chuckled.
