Devious Xevious (D6, EE Closed)

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain rode the elevator to the penthouse where Xevious was staying. He had received a summons from the dark lord, one that perhaps he had felt was long in coming, but was willing to pay that no mind. Any call from a member of the Council was to be heeded and treated with the greatest respect.

As the doors opened from the elevator he walked down the hallway to the penthouse and presented himself to whatever configuration was set up to screen guests for the dark lord.

[Dapper Dog]

Darth Xevious is standing and playing with his pet tuk'ata, a game of fetch with a polished humanoid skull. His crimson armor clad apprentice stands nearby silently.

OOC: Can we move this to LE, he has an appointment in this slot.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain approached Xevious and kneels formally at a polite distance.

With his arm over his knee he keeps his head lowered and speaks, "Darth Xevious, I have come as you requested."

Darth Xevious says, "You have done admirable work thus far, all things considered of the Sith I was saddled with you have proven yourself a satisfactory negotiator."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Keeping his head bowed he replied, "I live to serve the Empire and its interests. I am honored to have not created problems for you during my stay here. My former master was fully behind supporting these discussions, and I am proud to have not let his trust in me go to waste."

[Darth Xevious]

"I am pleased you are pleased for doing the job you were sent here to do," Xevious says calmly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded slightly and waited for a moment. "Is there anything else I can do to assist you while I am in your service Darth Xevious?"

[Darth Xevious]

"You are not in my service," Xevious says. "What is your take on the Republic from your encounters with them thus far?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Please excuse my presumption Darth I have not yet earned that honor; my master instructed me to serve you in a similar manner that I have served him, that was all I intended."

He then continued, "The Republic appear to be eager to pursue peace with our forces. Many of them appear to believe in some form of peaceful coexistence with the Empire. I feel we can use this idealism for our advantage."

[Darth Xevious]

"In what way?" he asks tossing the skull for his tuk'ata to catch.

"Good job Boo-boo.... good job."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I have been watching the reports from the fronts for the past several months. Our forces lack the momentum to maintain our assault for much longer. The Republic has adapted new tactics, and the new Grand Moff has been slow to react to these changes. By convincing a significant portion of the Republic that we are not barbarians intent on murdering all who we come across, and appearing to be the positive alternative to the corrupt Republic, we stand ready to be able to turn a vast number of systems to our cause without having to expend military resources. By playing the part of the harbingers of 'peace', intent on bringing order back to the galaxy, we could significantly hinder the Republic's recovery time, and amplify our own for a renewed attack in the immediate future." He replied.

"The fact that the Republic could possibly be complicit in their own downfall is an opportunity I feel we should not let pass."

[Darth Xevious]

"Astute, I suppose," Xevious says. "What does Vengean want, surely he has made his desires known to you?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nods, "It is my understanding that he wishes for a temporary peace... and for that purpose I have been sent. Are these your wishes as well Darth?"
