[D6 EE] Walking

[Zeno Deathwright]

With the showers past, Zeno tries to think of something to do, so he calls up Jani Gwenz to see what she was up to and if she was free to meet and talk.

[Dapper Dog]

She answers after a moment and says, "Hey... Hi.... Lord Zeno! How are you?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Doing well. Just wanted to call and see how you were doing," he says as he strolls along the street. "Currently out for a stroll in the commercial district and I thought of you."

[Dapper Dog]

"Work has been crazy, but I get by. Is it nice out?" she asks.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"The rain stopped earlier so it's about as nice as it can be," he replies. "Not getting covered in oil or chemicals."

[Dapper Dog]

"Yeah that is a rather terrible perk of the weather, thankfully I come prepared," she responds.

"There has a been bunch of crazy stuff on the news, I am glad to hear you are okay... hopefully."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Nothing that's happened on the news has affected me directly. I try not to get caught up in explosions," he replies. "Have those headlines and events affected you? I imagine security contracting may be seeing increased business right now."

[Dapper Dog]

"It's been crazy, good for business bad for everything else. Barely get five minutes to breath," she replies with exasperation.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I can't imagine," he replies, pausing for a moment. "Well, if you can find a moment to relax, I'd love to take some time to catch up."

[Dapper Dog]

"You just called to talk?" she says slightly amused. "That really messes with the dangerous image of the Sith I was building in my head."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I love to talk," he says with a laugh. "Don't let that stand in the way of your image of danger though. Just because I enjoy a pleasant conversation doesn't mean I don't love a pitched combat more."

[Dapper Dog]

"I will take your word for it," she says with a nervous laugh. "So... umm, what's your family like?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"The Deathwrights? Loyal, skilled pilots. Elite among the Empire. Been a part of the Empire for around a thousand years. I'd dare say you couldn't find stronger bonds in the empire than those shared by our family. And it has been a wonderful life growing up among them, even if difficult compared to other Noble houses. We are more austere than most others because we focus more on our skills than political games."

[Dapper Dog]

"You're the first noble I have ever met, so I have no real frame of reference," she says honestly.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Many noble families maneuver and engage in politics, trying to gain favor and trade resources. Mine focuses on military accomplishments and capabilities. Our political aims tend to be aimed at resource gathering to ensure we have sufficient, high quality equipment."

[Dapper Dog]

"So is that why you are here, to get resources from the Hutts?" she asks curiously.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Not really. I would help my family however I can, but I'm a warrior. Resource management is not my specialty. I'm here to support the empire as I can."

[Dapper Dog]

"Such a good son," she says warmly.

There is an incoming call from the Lt. Carza Hilya.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I have another call, one moment?" He says, flipping over when he gets the okay.

[Dapper Dog]

"Hilya here, I got a message from home, your father is coming to Nar Shaddaa, not sure why yet," she says skipping right to the chase.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll be on Kintan tomorrow. When is he arriving?" Zeno asks.

[Dapper Dog]

"Tomorrow night, I can stall him but not by much," she says.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'll try to be done there as early as I can," he confirms. "And be back in the afternoon. Thanks for the heads up. Shouldn't take too long once I get planetside."

[Dapper Dog]

"I do appreciate it, my Lord," Carza replies. "By your leave then?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Of course Lieutenant," he replies, letting her get back to what she was up to before switching back to Jani.

"Sorry about that."
