"I didn't think the Sith taught forgiveness, seems to lead to weakness," he responds. "If the doctrine has changed then there is hope for everyone."

"The Sith don't teach it. But we are people too and individuals make their own choices. They also don't teach loyalty and bonds the way I understand them. But I defy those beliefs because I feel such loyalty makes the Empire stronger. I grew up in a military family and one thing you learn it's that the person on either side of you is there to watch your back so you have to do the same. That doesn't go away just because you are not being shot at. I'm sure the Jedi aren't made with cookie cutters either. They're no less my enemies in this war, though."

"Perhaps there is a beast worth salvaging under all that... aggression," the man says calmly.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"You would not salvage a rancor or a krayt dragon," he says with a chuckle. "They do what they are meant to do. They thrive in their element as apex predators."

[Dapper Dog]

“And you are an apex predator?” he says with a glance to the Sith. “It seems like such a romantic notion to be at the top of the food chain but it si just one position I a chain of life. Predators exist because they must, to maintain a balance in their ecosystem. Not that they care about such things but they thin the herds to manageable levels.”

“I am not sure Sith understand that notion, but maybe you are different. Maybe.”

"I at least understand that between the dark and the light, both sides will always produce it's champions. No matter which side wins, the war between two infinite forces will always exist. And both sides will always prey on each other."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well I hope for the galaxy that is wrong, infinite war suits no one," the stranger counters.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"I'm sure it won't always be open warfare, but it's definitely going to be endless."

[Dapper Dog]

“Well Lord Zeno perhaps you are right, and it is endless the Sith did not fare well the last time and the infighting and treachery within your Empire seems headed for the same problems and perhaps the same ends as the last time the Sith rose to threaten the galaxy,” the man says taking the reigns of his mount.

“Yet the future is uncertain.”

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It is uncertain. And there are those among the latest generation that understand the danger of infighting. It may be premature to think we will do irreparable harm to ourselves."

[Dapper Dog]

"Maybe there is hope for the galaxy yet," he says with a chuckle.

"May the Force be with you, Lord Zeno." He departs into the wastes unless stopped.

Zeno returns to the boredom of sample collection, making sure it goes smoothly.
