[D5-MA] The Nanny II (Fildon Vil's chamber)

[Dapper Dog]

"Really, how sad. Father says that we must consider everything in our lives as a trial and that we should learn from all moments," he responds.

[Rumun Gol]

'' That part of my life was uneventful until I was discovered as a force sensitive being, so that's why I consider it unimportant. '' He replied.

'' But I do agree that we must learn from each moment. Perhaps I should reconsider my thoughts about my time as a slave.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Tell me about it, I have never actually asked an ex-slave about their time as a slave," he asks curiously.

[Rumun Gol]

'' Well, since I have memory I was in charge of classifying data and other archives. I read lots of information, from proper economics to military strategy. I could say that I was good at it and because of that my masters granted me a bit more freedom than to other slaves as they find me I was useful. '' Rumun told Fildon a bit of his past history.

Rumun shrugs.

'' Like I said, my previous life was uneventful. I suppose the life of other slaves would be far more interesting. '' He said.

[Dapper Dog]

"Your natural aptitudes afforded you more freedom," he says thoughtfully.

"Even as a slave you had a mark for greater things."

[Rumun Gol]

'' The force broke the chains that were binding me. But the chains called 'slavery' were only one among several other chains that limits my full potential.'' He replied.

'' There's still much work to be done. '' He added.

[Dapper Dog]

Fildon smirks and says, "What else could be holding you back?"

[Rumun Gol]

'' Don't know '' He shrugs. '' Lack of knowledge, lack of combat ability, my alien background, etc. There are several types of weaknesses, or apparent weaknesses, that must be purged in order to be free''

'' As I said before, one must always continue to move forwards. When you reach a power threshold, there's always another barrier that must be overtaken, another wall that must be crushed to reach your final destiny. That is true for me as for you. ''

[Dapper Dog]

“So you are saying we must never become complacent and always strive to become stronger yet what happens if you become powerful enough to challenge the Emperor. I doubt he would simply allow you to exist,” Fildon asks.

[Rumun Gol]

'' It doesn't matter your level of power, someone will always challenge you and your advancement. If you are powerful enough to challenge someone like the Emperor then it is only logical that he will try to destroy you. To challenge someone like that you will need to become a truly fearsome warrior, a genius researcher and a charismatic politician ''

'' Only the strongest survive. No one said it would be easy. '' He said.

[Dapper Dog]

"You are a strange one Rumun, I am not sure the Empire will know what to do with you," the young Sith replies.

"What do you think of my father?"

[Rumun Gol]

'' Haha, well hopefully the Empire find some use to someone like me. Or should I say, I should make myself useful and indispensable for the Empire, eh? '' He said.

'' Well I don't know your father closely to have a more personal opinion, but I do respect his insight and reputation. Darth Xevious has managed to stay as a Dark Councillor for many years, you must be an impresive sith to stay in power for so long.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Do you believe Darth Hoshi can navigate the dangers of the Dark Council as easily?" he asks.
