Day 7 ME: The search for...

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Don't make me laugh. Was my evaluation not proper when I let you go and covered up your escape on Yavin? Or maybe it was faulty when I pulled you out from the acklay's lair? You won't get anywhere questioning my judgement." Moyr glanced disapprovingly. "Now you're just being arrogant."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I am speaking generaly...I'm not aiming to belittle you.'' she said with a smirk and a nuzzle ''I know you are a fantastic gal...in the end I just want you to be happy''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Then let's just stop talking about things we can't agree on." Moyr hugged her back. There was affection, but a distracted one, as if her mind could not stay in one place. "I want you to find your path, Baes, wherever it leads. So that you can tell me at the end of that path that it was worth moving away from me to it. Because however we care for each other, that line is there. And your efforts to pull me over that line only speak of your pain that it exists. But it should tell you how I feel, how I have felt over those past months." She needed to fall silent, remembering the man she had put all her hopes in. She swallowed unshed tears. "Deep inside, I will always be alone."

Baesal was not sure how to respond to that so she began hugging her closer

Then she spoke:

''No your are not. Even if we are different, even if we are on different sides of a war, even if things get even harder from here...you are not alone. I'll always be your friend, I won't use you...We might have to hide things from each other but that is due to our circumstances.''

Her lekku moved to meet her's

''You are only alone if you let yourself believe so''

Realising well enough that it was Baes' wishful thinking speaking, and that it may be put to heavy tests in the future, she nevertheless nodded while getting pulled into a closer embrace. She said nothing, not really in mood or condition to belabour the point.
