First round I think Ashla should go first, attack as an action and give aide to the second actor as a manœuvre then I could go after.

I debate having Aphr and Yslane leave us there to proceed with the mission and keep them from leaving. Also: radio the attack team

Close and Engaged are not the same thing, right? Melee attacks can only be done while engaged?

Yeah, you need a maneuver to move from Short to Engaged.

Round 1: Move into melee with Shoto (damage 7, crit 1, accurate, breach, sunder) and attack (2 strain for extra manoeuvre ). With lightshield on I get defensive 4 and reflect 3. Advantages to crit once then heal strain.

Round 2: Action Attack, Maneouvre: assist the next character for 2 boosts. Advantages for crit once, others to boost next character

I need to go sleep now so if the ionsaber does'nt do its work I'll flip a destiny to produce a belt of Ion grenades that was left on the guards and put that where it will deactivate the engines using my mechanic skill and ashla's help

With time constraints and the hangar bay going into lockdown, I believe it's safe to say that the team will be going smoothly. Feel free to consider it a success and resolutions can be done later. SIS will be busy escorting out the assault team, leaving you a window to extract the children.

Granted, people might come knocking later about the children, but that's a problem for D9 I suppose.
