[Jo'ren Rath]

A concerned Jo'ren and 2V-R6 looked down at Shaisha. She seemed to be stable now thanks to the stims but had lost a lot of blood. Her hand looked like it would need surgery to regain functionality. All in all she was lucky to be alive.

He looked at the monitor that indicated heart rate and blood pressure but didn't have much more info.

"Shoulda brought a medic. And about 20 more bodies."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She had slipped in and out of consciousness several times over the past hour, sometimes even sounding delirious as she mumbled unconsciously about the coming of the great Void, a queen, and the dark monarch.

At least now that she was more stable, the weird rambling had stopped.

[Vec Gunnar]

Despite being the one who walked out of that one with the least damage, Vec wasn't exactly pleased with how that operation played out. He leant against the nearest viewing port and watched the swirl of distorted space while they traversed through hyperspace. Bad enough he had to stumble into that pesky celebrity for the third time, she had to call out his "name" and put the whole thing in jeopardy. Then again, how must better could they have fared if they were face to face to them?

He had a scowl on his face when he pushed himself off from the wall. "20 more bodies would basically cut into the earnings entirely and everyone would be working for close to free. At this point, I think that would be a fair trade to see those three dead."

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal was grimly silent as she stood near Shaisha. While the woman was alive, it was only barely and that had Kristal considering the outing to be a grave mistake. With her arms crossed over her chest she stood silent. Whereas her own injuries were mere discomforts to those she had suffered before.

"We were foolish for going in there so underprepared," she finally spoke. Holding a heavy, grim tone to her voice.

[Vec Gunnar]

"Yeah, a bit of a shit show what happened. When the old man said the top of the line gear, he did really mean top of the line. It was like concentrated ordnance in a blaster. On their turf too, while doing their job. They had field advantage, the skill and the gear. Would have been hard to kill them, let alone get a shot off that entertainer."

He banged a fist on the hall. "Not a brain in her head but she still fucking recognized me!"

"Yeah that was unlucky Vec. That team are the best for a reason, and at least we've got a benchmark of their capabilities now rather than heresay."

He looked down at Shaisha who was mumbling something about a Void.

"A fucking disruptor. She's lucky to be alive."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Lucky to be alive, and too stubborn to die.

Finding a more conscious moment, Shaisha found the feeling of hate and revenge to be something to cling to.

"I will... kill them... all of them... I will have... revenge."

[Vec Gunnar]

"There's a lot of talk in the galaxy but rarely is the action even greater than the talk," he said with a shake of his head.

He glanced at Shaisha for a moment and looked to the others. "Before I forget, if you're going back for another run at them and you're willing to have me, I'm in. You can waive my cut if it brings in a few extra targets. I'm interested in settling this score, maybe even walk away with a trophy or two."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Simple revenge is what nearly killed Shaisha, that and greed," the blonde woman spoke from her corner. Shifting her arms as she left them crossed over her chest.

"There is no way around this simple truth. Seeking them out again is pointless. Satisfy your desire for petty revenge at the risk of your own life if you must but it will not do you any better," she spoke to Vec rather than Shaisha as she was hardly in the position to be in a conversation. Cold anger resting in her tone. "You toss aside efforts that could be put toward something gainful for the Empire in pursuit of it."

[Vec Gunnar]

"Right, sorry. I suppose I should look toward my many other aspirations in the Empire," he said as he looked to Kirstal, very clearly they were from different vocations and social classes. He wasn't the child of royalty or power, living or dead.

"Look," he said as he approached her and looked her in the eyes. "I'm just saying that they made fools out of us back there. They just pushed us off and barely even felt threatened. Heck, they just probably put in the same effort they would on a rabid fan and didn't even break a sweat. There isn't much to fear or respect if you can push off the Empire like that. Got to be a worthwhile pursuit in that, yeah?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha didn't quite get all what Kristal and Vec was saying... but she heard enough to realise Kristal thought revenge was bad, but Vec was all about it.

"Not now... or tomorrow... or next year... but," she flinched in pain and inhaled sharply, "I will kill them. Some day."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Make excuses for it all you want Sergeant, but we all already know why you are invested in it. They may even be accurate and worthwhile ones like that one. However, you have already stated your real desire behind striking back at them," she paused as Shaisha came to words. Quieting herself for a moment in the passing of the pained attempt at speech.

Finishing much more softly, "Do what you require on your own behalf. I will not offer any more blood in pursuit of something so trifling."

[Vec Gunnar]

"Some day, yeah," he said with a nod to agree with Shaisha. "Never said that we should go right back in there, especially when they know we want them dead. It needs to be done eventually and it needs to happen."

"Huh, right," he said dry as he looked back to Kristal. "Plenty ways of earning credits in the galaxy, sure I'll make up for all the anguish I'm feeling right now if I put my heart to it, chasing enough small potatoes. Heck, I wasn't even all that interested in anything when I was taken on this hunt. Just wanted something to shoot at when things started to get dull around here. Guess I got something out of this after all, a long-term goal."

"Whatever, thought you Sith would understand out of all people. Probably wasting my breath around here," he said before stalking off and leaving the room. Especially around a princess.
