Day 9 EM: Plants and their pots

Well...its now or never

The togruta sat before the plant. Considering what she volunteered for later that Day she decided she would risk the magic plant to gain a degree of foresight.

Sadly it was not to be...which frustrated her

She looked at the plant and let out a heavy sigh

"I'll leave you with master Thun...I don't think we belong together"

[Dapper Dog]

"Not cooperating?" the old Master responds.

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal almost jumped and then rose to face the old master

''Good morning Master Thun'' she eyed the plant

''Yeah...I am not good with vegetation it seems.'' she let out a sigh ''And I don't think I have the concentration to make it work either...''

[Dapper Dog]

"So improve your concentration then," she says.

[Baesal Zyn]

She can't help but make an exhausted chuckle

''Not between now and tonight I am afraid''

[Dapper Dog]

"What is tonight?" she asks curiously.

[Baesal Zyn]

''We rescued the kidnapped force sensitive children yesterday...they were to be used as tests for a biological weapon, a virus to be exact''

Something dawned on her

Why force sensitives?

She shook her head

''We are gonna put an end to the entreprise''

[Dapper Dog]

“If there is one thing I can’t stand it is people trying to exploit children. Bring them justice Baesal, and if I can help let me know,” she says with concern.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Well...'' She looked at the plant

''Perhaps you could help me with this then?''

[Dapper Dog]

“Well what are you trying to accomplish?” she asks looking at the plant.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I'm trying to see in the future to see if anything useful can come up...although I am not sure if it can help me''

She absentmindedly scratched her kekku

''I'm usually not much into fortune telling''

[Dapper Dog]

“Knowing the future isn’t as helpful as you would think, don’t get me wrong it can be plenty good… but it is only one set of futures the galaxy is always moving and anything can change the future, even just seeing it,” she says honestly.

[Baesal Zyn]

She listens carefully and nods

''Quite the conundrum'' she sighs ''Better prepare for everything then''

She looke a the old Master ''So, would you take care of this plant after I leave?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Not taking it with you?" she says.

[Baesal Zyn]

She felt unsure

''I...I don't know if I should. You are better with plants and I think it would flourish more into you care''

[Dapper Dog]

"I will if that is your wish, I thought it was important to you?" she asks.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I thought it could lead me somewhere...that it was a clue to a problem.''

She passed her hand on one of the leaves

''But while I like it I don't think shipping a plant all over the galaxy is a good thing. It was born here and perhaps should return to the moon that birthed it''

[Dapper Dog]

“Not all problems have obvious resolutions Baesal, but I will give it a good home here in the enclave,” she says warmly.
