The Imperial Troopers follow Sylvain's lead and their leader points and shoots and destroys the line with catastrophic damage causing the barge to go into a spin as it drops quickly and plows through several builds into it comes to rest in a park...

The damage is tremendous but the Empire has... saved the peace talks. Darth Baras throws off debris having focused his energies to make the crash less lethal than it could have been but still the damage is tremendous.

"Good shooting Lt. Hesha," he says looking for Magpie in all the chaos but she is gone.

OOC: Lt. Hesha saves the day. Flipped a Destiny for Magpie to survive. Not the ending we came for, but the ending we deserve.

Sylvain stood up slowly from the crash and brushed himself off. He nodded his thanks to the Lieutenant, and found his way over to Baras before kneeling behind him as he waited for him to turn around.

Darth Baras keeps his back to his apprentice and says, "What have you learned from all this, Sylvain."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"That you are far more powerful than I could hope to overcome today... I did not do what I did out of sentimentality... I would kill my mother myself for what she has done, and what she plans to do..." He replied with his face down.

"I believed you to be weak enough to kill... and I to be able to reforge the Empire in a better way... I have learned that was folly. I hate you no less, but I respect your power... I fear what you can do and will do if I were to ever fail you again. Your vision will be my vision if I am permitted to live." He said with resoluteness.

Asra climbs up over the wreckage carefully, heading over to Zeno and fishing around on his unconscious body for stimpaks. Finding some, she pulls them out and proceeds to inject every one of them into him, then one of hers into herself. She listens to Sylvain as she does.

"I will consider your continued service," he says looking at the damage. "You have failed me and you have failed the Empire. Completely."

"See to the wounded."

[Zeno Deathwright]

As the medication poured into him his body began to move, rousing from what felt like death. He felt broken and beaten and torn to pieces. There was a crazy number of new scars strewn across his body. The medication causes his pulse to race and his eyes go wide with terror, hatred and violent self-preservation. It feels like his heart is going to beat right out of his chest and he'd be surprised if the people around him couldn't hear it. A loud inhalation for air is the first thing he thinks to do and it fills his lungs with the dust and smoke from the wreckage causing him to choke and cough violently. He looks around for his sabers but they're nowhere to be found in the wreckage.

"FUCK!" is the first thing that escapes him. His eyes are bloodshot and he looks ready to murder someone as he returns from the brink of death.

OOC: 5 stims, heals 15 wounds

He bowed his head, "Yes, my master."

He then stood up and walked over to Asra and stuck a stim in her arm. He gave her a remorseful look, as if expressing his regret through eye contact alone.

He looked down to Zeno, "The battle is over. Baras has won. He has granted us our lives, for now."

He then looked around the wreckage to see if he could spot Layne's body.

When he looks to Zeno it likely feels like he's talking to an animal. There is only his anger and sense of self preservation visible there. It's not clear whether his words got through. He grabs a large chunk of debris and readies it like a weapon, not saying anything, just letting out a low growl. His entire body was riddled with pain and ache, and it could be seen in his expression each time he moved.

Asra gets up and steps back, not wanting to be in the way of an enraged Sith Lord. She feels around her pockets for a moment before remembering that was a bad idea. Glancing around at all the players here - Sylvain accepting defeat, Zeno enraged, Bar as here in person - she shakes her head. It was probably time to go. "Zeno," she says before she heads, "it's wrapped up."

With thst, she starts carefully clambering over wreckage to make her exit.

Sylvain puts his hand up in line with Zeno's eyes and reaches out with the force to help coax back the rational side of the man. He exerts himself to cage the beast the best he can, and once completed opens his eyes to check his work.

[Zeno Deathwright]

It felt like there wasn't even a mind there for Sylvain... at least not one recognizable as intelligent. It was clay. And so it was incredibly easy to calm him down. But rather than returning to his right state of mind it seemed to put him to sleep. As though the rational mind simply wasn't there to be roused at the moment. He collapsed in a heap on the pile, the physical exhaustion too much for him to stay awake.

Sylvain turned to one of the soldiers. "See that Lord Deathwright makes it back to the compound."

He then sighed and began moving bits of the ship around looking for Layne's remains.

[Zeno Deathwright]

He is carried off.

Slyvain looked around the wreckage for quite some time but was unable to locate Layne's body. After helping take care of the wounded and doing as much as he could to help he would leave the scene exhausted and battered unless his master required any thing else of him.

[Dapper Dog]

"You are dismissed," Baras commands.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded and silently turned to leave.

So many failures...
