Mission Briefings & Caffeine (D1, MM, Saarai-Kaar)

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Anthy had just finished giving Shaisha a rundown about Muuns, the InterGalactic Banking Clans, and other trivia about Muunilist that she had pulled up on her datapad, while Jitter was still asleep. "So they have three hearts? Huh... how very practical, but which one do you have to stab then?" Shaisha mused as she finished her morning caff.

The timer reminded her that they were about an hour from landing on Nar Shaddaa. "Guess it's time to speak to Vowrawn to get the full details on the job. Excuse me," she put the empty mug into the washer and headed to her private quarters.

Activating the holo, she waited patiently for her master.

Vowrawn answers, it looks like he is laying down. He smiles and says with a slight grimace of pain, “Ahh my apprentice, I pray you have arrived by now and you are giving me a report that all is well and good?”

He hisses and says, “I am having a holo-tattoo implanted, immensely painful… quite impractical… but I just can’t stop at one. Thankfully this artists seems more skilled than the last. The pain is like fire in the veins, delightful.”

The apprentice bows to the master and Dark Lord of the Council, as is proper. "We'll be setting foot on Nar Shaddaa within the hour. The journey has been uneventful, apart from keeping the Jawa away from the hyperdrive, and catching up with others who will be present for the peace summit on the holo."

She chuckles at his delight over the procedure. "Quite unfortunate that with the previous artist," she says with a small shake of her head.

"I've been acquainting myself with the subject of your mission, this Timu Vosk. With the kind of wealth and habits he has, locating him should be a simple affair, though you've left me curious as to how I will verify the authenticity of the information he possesses."

[Dapper Dog]

“When you get the data, send it to me and I will verify it personally. This is… personal for me, so I will have a more active hand in assessing the information. He should be very easy to find. He is throwing a viewing party for some Huttball thing. I have made sure your name is on the list,” he says with his eyes closed.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She nods, respecting his wish for privacy on the matter. "Ah, a show of Huttball with my name on the list? Well, I suppose that answers my question if he is expecting me or not... that will make for a pleasant change from the last person I had to chase down."

A thought occurs to her as she thinks back to her holo-call with Sylvain. "And I assume I should be aware of interruptions from other interested parties?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Always, my beautiful apprentice, always. If our rivals do not interfere then we are not doing our jobs," he replies with a grin.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Quite right," she smirks, doing her best to not let the flattery get to her. Despite his age, Vowrawn could be surprisingly charming.

"I'll make sure to stay a step ahead of Baras' apprentices, who will both be arriving around the same time as us. Knowing Layne at least, she'll be more busy biting after Sylvain than getting in anyone's way, seeing as how their master isn't around to keep her on a shorter leash."

[Dapper Dog]

“Oh Layne is there, that was the angry one I think. She was long on teeth and short on wits. I expect this task to be a trifle, but these are the things we must do to keep up appearances my dear.”

Vowrawn adds, “I have no standing opinion on the peace talks, do what you feel is best.”

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Very well," she nods, "thank you for your trust in me on the matter. I will be in touch with you as soon as the data chit is secured."

Shaisha bows once more, leaving it to Vowrawn if he had anything else to add.

Vowrawn smiles and the holo ends.

As Shaisha finishes the conversation and steps out of her quarters again, she is met by Jitter.

The Jawa excitedly rambles off in Jawaese, holding up her mask to her.

"You did what?" she frowns and picks it up, holding it over her face. "Great... you nearly ruined the scanners... Damnit, stay away from my things, Jitter!"
