[Moyr Ahaya]

This time, for looking around Moyr, chose casual clothes that didn't telegraph Sithness. She wandered around the spaceport, took pauses at cafes and bars, listened to people commenting the latest news. She wasn't giving her name or was giving a random ones. Her cones were set on gathering enough about an Evocii scholar-turned-political activist. When she finally caught the trail, she didn't rush out immediately, but returned to the ship to change her skin.

But chit-chat and comm-calls were part of the routine, so she was also catching up on some overdue talks.

The comm channel beeped for a moment until a familiar

''Heeeeello!''

Came through

[Moyr Ahaya]

"How are you holding up, dear? Doing anything fancy?" Moyr said in amused voice. "It's good to hear you."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I'm doing okay...It's good to hear you too'' she replies sounding exhausted even if in good humor ''Yesterday as been one hell of a day: lots of meetings and mando attacks''

She smiled impishly

''And I even met Pinky...someone's little sister''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Oh, I got in crossfire too, between the Hutts and the local rebels. Just another day in Y'toub system. You carried out all your dangly parts from that fight, I hope? Also, Mando'a attacks? Tell me more." At the second issue she chuckled. "I suppose that was inevitable. She's all over the place, isn't she? It looks like she wants to catch up with me with the amount of trouble she's in."

[Baesal Zyn]

"Don't worry dear, all my lekkus are in order" she winked "It seemed to be some Mando internal conflict. They attacked a civilian transport to kill some Cordo Fett...or is it Corso? I'm not sure"

Her eyes got bug with excitement

"Your sister is adorable, quite like you in some ways...." She then frowned "But really...did you really need to appear to her with that mask on?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Corso Fett? He's close to my friends among Clan Vizsla so I am glad he's well. Do you know who attacked him?"

She paused, thinking.

"I rarely part with it these days, for reasons. Our meeting was... a happenstance. A thing I would least expect, but the Force has its way with us. Our reunion is less carefree than it otherwise could have been. There are circumstances that sadly also extend to you, dear. This is one of the reasons I am comming."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Some rival mandos from clan...herr...Nodd I think. Something about some Darak guy''

She gave a long sigh, she could not help but be worried

''I see...you walk a dangerous path honey, don't lose yourself in it...'' she forced a smile ''We need to meet at another moment then a job. I enjoy lending you a hand but its not like it used to''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Indeed we do need that, darling." She mirrored the long sigh, taking note of the names used. "Have I told you that Zhorrid has made an attempt to usurp me as her apprentice? She has been stalking me around, and interfered with my reunion with Aphr, threatening to butcher her. She's a lot like Zash, just less powerful and smart. I had to feed her something when she found me on Nal Hutta to divert her attention, and I said I was after... the plant. She wants that plant now. Last night she said that she would move against Aphr and you if I don't give her the plant within the next two days."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baes was silent for a moment and took a breath

''I see''

she paused once more stroking her septum, nodding

''Did you tell her why? Or the properties of the plant?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Only that it has short-term precognitive properties, and may grow somewhere around Nal Hutta. She hasn't learnt anything more from me." Moyr wondered if she had not made an error of judgement telling Zhorrid. "It reacts only to the Light Side, right?"

[Baesal Zyn]

''Only to it'' she confirmed ''And that might help us''

She steepled her fingers

''I met a Hutt gardener today, she found a plant almost identical to the one I have but without the force sensitivity...We could bluff her with one of these specimen if we do not find another force sensitive one.''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I have other things in mind as well related to the future of my cooperation with her... They might get hastened." Moyr's tone turned ominous. "But this we can talk through later."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Or now, I'm curious''

She raised her eyebrows, remembering something

''Say have you gotten info on Black Star?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I paid them a visit. I found some traces of my mentor there, but no clear lead to him. He's been elusive lately. Zhorrid says he's dead but I refuse to believe it." Moyr said quietly.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I found some info on them like you asked: The company is pretty much clean *but* they have worked for less than savory characters. Those works has been on the right side of the law, however. They make custom weapons systems for ships and installations, otherwise there is nothing terribly dirty. The CEO is terribly elusive, he or she does not take public photos or meet with media...Do you think the ceo might be him or one of his acolytes?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"That hasn't occurred to me. Hmm, I don't think so." Moyr pouted in thought.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Do you think it possible to find out were he resides? He might not want to be found by his daughter''

She presses her lips thinking

''How did Zhorrible found out about Aphr?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I could listen to good ideas. I am at a loss how to proceed with the search." Moyr sighed ruefully. "And I don't know. Probably Aphr gave it away by her experiments with the Force. Zhorrid has been stalking me through it."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal steepled her fingers and her frown shaped itself with resolve

''Don't worry honey, we won't let her get to your sister.'' She looks at Moyr's eyes ''We will find a way...now, I want to know a few things. I want to know if your sister belongs to a gang a group or anything in the like. I want to know as much as I can about Zhorrid and what you have seen of her capabilites.''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I think she's a crewmember on the vessel Starcross, captained by a Hutt by the name Xero. She has some extensive contacts across the Moon, being in it for a few years now." Moyr pondered. "Zhorrid is a Sith Lord, Baes. She is powerful. She likes killing and torturing for pleasure, she is whimsical, but also can be distracted. Maybe baited."

[Baesal Zyn]

She nods

''Then the Starcross should be informed...They might even be able to help us get into the Black Star building. Is this Xero the Hutt important in any fashion?''

She takes a breath

''As for Zhorrid...we might be able to hide Aphr if time runs short. Also since she is a SIth I am sure many would like her gone...''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"No, Baes. I am not going to involve outside parties into this. And I hope I can count on your discretion. This is a sensitive matter my future may hinge on, and introducing untested parties, and a Hutt at that, it's like the worst idea you could have had, dear."

Moyr frowned.

"Yes. But actually giving her a plant if we can find one could be a good move that buys both time and manoeuvring space to bring the disturbance she is to a final resolution. You already know who would like her go the most... If I end her, the lordship is mine. There are people who may help, and Zeno is one of them."

[Baesal Zyn]

''Outside help means outside expertise. I will be quiet on this but its not going to be your least favorite idea...Zhorrid can be fooled but who knows how long. She is unlikely to channel the light side so she can't test the plant for sure...but like you said, she's fickle. If she uses the Force to spy on you or to find you and your sister we must be ready to hide her where she can't find or reach her until things get solved.''

She braced herself

''And the most secure of places would be a light side vergeance or the Jedi temple..wait...I know...but that must be considered if things turn sour''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Baes... We promised not to do this to each other." She pulled air in audibly and her lekku contracted at the tips, rattling. But then, she sighed. "But Aphr should choose her own way, even if it means I'll abhor the result. I will not coax her into anything. If her life goals will indeed turn toward being a reclusive vegetable or a self-righteous hypocrite, then I will pity than and I just hope we won't have to cross lightsabres at some point."
