Baesal can feel the plant through the force, she can see the path as ripples through the Force as if she sending out radar and the object is pinging back to her. The ping getting stronger as she makes her way towards it.

Craw scans their surroundings, aiming with his heavy blaster as he does. "Yes ma'am." He muttered.

Basal takes point as the trio makes their way through the dense muck and swamp brush. Trees hang over head lazily and swamp life scurries out of foot as they pass through the brush and light. Everything has a brown green haze from the sky to the rugged terrain until they come to a cliff side that leads down into denser swamp and fast running river of brown water flowing down into this valley region.

In the far distance they can see some kind of structure built on the top of a plateau, Moyr recognizes it as the palace she was at previously or a structure that looks much like it. At this distance it looks like a giant mushroom of stone and steel with a faint purple shimmer of an energy field. The more immediate issue is the fifty meter or so cliff they stand upon.

How fortunate this was exactly the length of the micro-fibre line in Moyr's survival kit. Moyr knelt to set up the descent. Having a deja vu, she checked on her datapad if they did not return to Givaga's palace somehow, just from another side.

Well Craw had his back turned as the trio come to the base of the cliff as a wicked creature bursts from the swampy mire and brush! It has wicked claws and stands at least twice tall as a man if not more with green brown chitinous armor and four nimble insect legs as it moves straight for its next meal.

Craw is dragged under the swampy water with the creature the Jedi and Sith diving for cover as the Mandalorian is drug under water.

OOC: Baesal and Moyr roll Cool for Initiative, Craw rolls Vigilance; Craw suffers two setback dice to attacks for being underwater, it is hard to see through the murky mire. The Creature is at medium range to Baesal and Moyr but not visible unless they go underwater.

Craw is at engaged and the Acklay has Adversary 1, Upgrade one die on a attack roll against it to a Challenge die, and 2 melee defense!

Craw screams in surprise as the creature drags him underwater. His helmet keeps the worst of the water out but it isn't exactly water tight, so he keeps screaming as he's dragged deeper. He scrambles to get his machete out of it's scabbard.

The acklay is dragging Craw underwater as both Baesal and Moyr decide what to do in the split seconds after the attack!

OOC: The Creature is at medium range to Baesal and Moyr but not visible unless they go underwater.

Craw is at engaged and the Acklay has Adversary 1, Upgrade one die on a attack roll against it to a Challenge die, and 2 melee defense! Craw will suffer 2 strain, at the end of his round, for each round he is underwater with the Acklay, he will need to spend two maneuvers to get out of engaged with the creature as well in a single round.

Craw manages to take his machete out of it's scabbard, and with a quick jabbing motion jams it into the torso of the acklay. After that, he kicks himself away from the acklay and desperately tries to swim to the surface.

The machete bounces harmlessly off the chitin as Craw moves away from it in the brackish waters.

OOC: No damage done. Next PC has a Destiny die spent to upgrade the difficulty if they take an action or attack. Stealth would be Hard difficulty.

Moyr kept her weapon options open, and focused on disappearing from the register of acklay's antennae. She approached from the angle, seeking stable support for her feet.

[Advantages to get higher ground in the swamp, like a stone or tree trunk. Additional success to 'Stealth' Baes if she wills.]

The creature surges forward in the water and seems undeterred by the brackish water and strikes with a powerful claw, the powerful surge causes large waves on the banks and sends water and detritus spraying everywhere.

With the constant rainfall it makes for a miserable and deadly time.

OOC: The acklay does 11 wounds with Pierce 3 to Craw, Baesal suffers a setback to her action attack due to the spray of water and sludge as the water churns from the savagery of the Acklay. Acklay uses a maneuver to move to engaged once more with Craw.

Craw is at engaged and the Acklay has Adversary 1, Upgrade one die on a attack roll against it to a Challenge die, and 2 melee defense!
