"Eh. No. Eat regular food. Just not this fancy. I'm a little surprised you just get nutrient paste."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Efficiency is highly valued even in food production. Plus I suppose it forces the students to focus on their studies. We certainly were not enjoying the food." Remmington replies.

"Though I imagine the training is vastly different too. Based on doctrines and cultural norms. That is... if Vera Hawke: Jedi Knight is any semblance with how things are done in the Republic." His knowledge of the Republic is pretty limited.

[Ashla Vyliis]

Or they're just cheap.

"Oh. You watch Vera Hawke too? I love that show. I didn't realize it was shown in the Empire. But no. It is very loosely based on what being a Jedi is. I assume the writers have never met a Jedi or someone who has."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Well I saw a few episodes when I was wandering around the Outer Rim for a few months. The Empire doesn't broadcast anything from the Republic. I thought it was interesting. Though I do want to know more about how the Jedi actually do things." Remmington says with sincerity.

He looks at her. "So what did you love so much about the show?" He takes a couple of bites.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Honestly?" Ashla gives a mischievous smile. "How much it annoys the older Jedi. It's always funny to hear them rant about a holoshow. I mean I did like it before that, but that's the best part now. I guess, before I became a Jedi, the best part was fun characters, even if they were a bit cliche. What did you think of it?"

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington thinks about that for a moment. "Very different. The Empire prefers more bloody and violent entertainment. Plus it is all about serving the Empire. Even main characters will be wiped out if they go against the Empire in the story or sometimes they sacrifice themselves to win the fight."

He looks over to Ashla and grins. "So you like how to rattle the old men huh?"

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Interesting." If not unsurprising. "What are some good ones in case I want to give them a try?"

Ashla takes a bite while Remmy is talking. "Rattling the old are always an enjoyable pastime. I suppose it's not quite so easy in the Empire."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Gladiator fights are pretty popular. If you ever come to Imperial space I'll take you out to one." Remmington says.

"Well not that many people make it to old age in the Empire. Those that do, well you honestly don't want to rattle them. They will probably snap you in two if you get on their bad side." He answers as he takes some more bites.

"Power speaks for itself. Though I guess you can always rattle those below you. It probably isn't as fun though." He states.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"That would be nice, though I doubt I'll be coming to Imperial space anytime soon."

Ashla takes a sip. "I fear I would not last long in the Empire. Listening to those above me is not really my thing. To be fair, the Jedi would prefer that I did."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington chuckles. "That's a shame. Well if you work for me, I'll try not to be too hard on you." He takes a few more bites and then sips his drink.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"I appreciate the offer and the insistence, but I think I'm far too selfish to be a Sith. I can't imagine myself caring the Empire or my master. The Emperor is nothing to me."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Well that is fair enough. Though I can't imagine that the Jedi will let you act completely selfish either. What is it that you want?"

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Heh. No. But I do not have to remain a Jedi once my training is complete."

Then Ashla considers his question. "I don't really know. I guess I want to have my own medical practice again. It was a small thing, but I enjoyed it."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"Oh, they actually let you not be a Jedi after they train you? I would have thought that would cause them problems." Remmington is honestly surprised.

He smiles contently. "That sounds wonderful. I wish you the best of luck. So is that the reason why you joined Hutt Ball? I'm guessing you need credits to help make your dream into a reality."

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Yeah. Technically, you can fail to become a Jedi Knight for whatever reason your master says or Jedi can retire. It's not like the Empire where service is forced." Then Ashla takes a drink.

"Actually, I joined Huttball because I enjoyed it. Sometimes, Kidaja's team would be low, and he would let me play back when I was his slave."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Hmm... seems like a bit of waste but I guess to each their own." He takes a sip.

"I am glad that you are enjoying yourself so far Ashla. By the way, I had an idea for some marketing and publicity that we can do once team Valkyrie gets more famous. I wonder if you will be willing to participate in it. Hopefully we can earn a lot of credits from it too." He says with a smile and then finishes the last few bites of his meal.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Oh. What's that?"

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington puts on his most business like smile as he sells his pitch. "Actually I am thinking that team Vaklyrie should do a swim suit calendar with all the members. I think it will really get people talking plus generate us some revenue that we can make from the royalties."

[Ashla Vyliis]

Ashla just stares. It's obvious she is not pleased.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington looks back. "So I guess that is a no?"

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Let's just say it's going to take a massive amount of credits for me to agree to something like that."

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington looks at her for a moment. "How much are we talking about Ashla?"

[Ashla Vyliis]

Ashla considers for a moment. "20,000, plus royalties."

[Remmington Thalalas]

"That is certainly a lot of credits. Is there a particular need for so much Ashla?" Remmington asks.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"I mean, who can't use more credits. But it's mostly that I really prefer not be undressed. The idea of a picture of me in a swimsuit..." Ashla winces. "Well, a lot of credits will make it much easier to bear."
