[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane smiled, "My apologies... the Order's apologies." She felt relaxed, "We are...a cloistered organization, one that often places great weight on self-exploration and introspection." Her eyes wander the table, "It means experiences like these are valuable to us. Forcing one to confront and hopefully work through inner doubts."

"Amongst our own this would be acceptable. As obstinacy often clouds one's mind, even for the experienced. A lesson would be learned." She continues, "Of course we are not among our own here...and some of our guests have reasons to mistrust our motives. It was I suppose a misstep. But one made in the attempt to achieve understanding."

"In a way it did. We know to be more open with such exercises."

[Baesal Zyn]

Aphr looked at Baesal as she addressed her, and frowned more.

"Confused, Baesal. And not just because you've apparently given me a nickname" there was a brief smile, but it went away as she continued "is drugging dinner guests a common practice of the Jedi?"

Baesal frowned as well, it was clear she did not enjoy the situation either.

''No, no it is not. I believe that what happened in the luncheon was a betrayal of trust and a glaring lack of respect to those present. Drugging guests without their consent and knowledge is a behavior unworthy of a jedi master. I will make a formal complaint to the Master Shan about this.''

Remmington offers a polite bow to Baeslyn and Aphr. "Greetings Baeslyn. It has been a while. I hope you have been well.

Are you feeling alright Aphr?"

Well that was surprising

''Eeerr, Remming Falalalala?'' she said with brow raised, trying to remember the man's name

[Nekoinu]

Lyshea Mersl smiled and allowed Yslane Tssilla to take the grounds of explaining why the events occurred. In that time, she went to Galen Sol and addressed him personally. "You spoke before about not caring for visions. Does your opinion still stand?" she asked without judgement.

[Galen Sol]

"This wasn't a vision." he shook his head. "It was a memory. One I told you about. One I never wished to experience again. Why would I relive that?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"As Yslane mentioned, it was a gesture made from good intentions." She let out a sigh. "I would have put out more of a notice of what we are planning here, at least.

She glanced at Yslane, not quite mouthing 'thank you', but giving her an appreciative nod.

[Nekoinu]

"Interesting. I did not expect you to relive a memory. Most experience possibilities, visions of the future." The Miraluka maintained her calm demeanor and folded her fingers. "That must have been difficult, Galen Sol. How did you fare?"

[Galen Sol]

"It all happened again." he shrugged. "I saw him, Janus, and felt his cruelty. The anguish and hatred I always carried resurfaced, but I let it go. I had learned that I could accomplish nothing by lashing out. I needed to cooperate, be patient and wait."

"Then, the wolves found me. I led them towards the snares as planned. But, I knew their abilities." he explained. "If I took the right approach, moved against the wind, they'd catch his scent. They'd know it was a trap."

"That's when everything changed. It all happened so quickly." he continued. "The cries for help, the camp in flames and the deaths."

[Nekoinu]

"There is no death, only the Force," Lyshea stated before bowing her head. "What has changed for you? Has anything?"

[Arali Zian]

Arali largely withdraws from the conversations, and the anger, but Galen draws her attention. She considers the man a friend, or at least a friendly acquaintance. She has her own thoughts on his ordeal, but takes a place by Lyshea's side, letting the master say her peace before she chimes in herself.

[Galen Sol]

"There is death. That is the natural order of the universe." he shook his head again. "And yet, there is also the Force."

"I don't feel guilty." he answered after a moment. "I had. I didn't realize how much. But, reliving it helped me see that. I will always carry my past with me, but I should not let it burden me."

[Nekoinu]

"Death, yet the Force," she stated. "That is the last mantra of the original Jedi Code."

The Jedi Master bowed her head once. "I am glad to see your burden uplifted." She turned her head to Arali, to Galen, and then back to twi'lek. After a few moments, she rose, leaving the two to their own devices.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Well that was surprising

''Eeerr, Remming Falalalala?'' she said with brow raised, trying to remember the man's name

"Remmington Thalalas." He corrects her. "You seem to be well. How is that ionsaber of yours coming along?"

He quirks an eyebrow as the Jedi master just gets up and leaves.

Rude.

[Arali Zian]

Arali draws closer as Lyshea heads to tend to her adoring fans in the rest of the group.

He looks to the man, yet he seems so much younger than he is. "A memory and a vision... are sometimes one in the same. The Force has a way of showing you what need to see, when you open yourself up to it. Sometimes, it seems like a haunting. The worst memories, coming back time and again, but it's a sign. A way of forcing you to face a power you're letting control you."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Baesal frowned as well, it was clear she did not enjoy the situation either.

"It doesn't fit what everyone expects of the Jedi either" Aphr nodded, clearly unhappy.

Remmington offers a polite bow to Baeslyn and Aphr. "Greetings Baeslyn. It has been a while. I hope you have been well.

Are you feeling alright Aphr?"

"No. I've been drugged by someone who we are expected to trust with..." suddenly she paused, as she saw Lyshea started to move away. She clenched her fists, and ran in front of Lyshea.

"There is no emotion, there is peace." She paused, holding a finger up "peace shattered by lack of trust, twinned with the arrogance, an emotion, that you could drug a whole dinner party for your own point. Part one of your code failed."

"There is no ignorance, there is knowledge." second finger up "by not warning your guests ahead of time, you showed ignorance. Part two of your code failed."

"There is no passion, there is serenity." a third finger "tell me, where is the serenity of drugging diplomats of the Sith? Part three failed.

"There is no chaos, there is harmony." a forth finger "harmony? Harmony is a lie, and there is no harmony here. Part four failed."

"And finally" she held up her hand, all five fingers "There is no death, there is the Force. This was not the force, this was forced hallucinations and visions. You, Lyshea Mersl of the Jedi Order, are a failure of the Jedi, the code, and as a decent member of society. You have shamed your Order, and left your apprentices to deal with your mess. What do you have to say for yourself?"

[Baesal Zyn]

"Remmington Thalalas." He corrects her. "You seem to be well. How is that ionsaber of yours coming along?"

He quirks an eyebrow as the Jedi master just gets up and leaves.

Rude.

''Well, my name is actually Baesal Zyn...and my ionsaber as been finished months ago.'' She follows Aphr from the corner of the eye as she spoke

''Excuse me...'' Baes moves closer to the twilek as she made her tirade

"Perhaps." he nodded. "I don't really understand it, but I guess that's something for me to think about. What was your experience like?"

The Miraluka did not step backwards. She bowed her head to the young twi'lek in front of her. "I called everyone here today to come to peace with events in the galaxy. Anger, frustration. None of it changes what has occurred."

She took a breath. "In your journey, you encountered a beast which perhaps seemed foreign. But it was created by your own minds. And with that came its weaknesses. It was your knowledge that would allow you to overcome it."

Lyshea looked to the Sith delegates present. "This was a first step towards another path, one not ruled by passion. Serenity takes a conscientious effort to achieve." A pause. "It is something I myself have not completely mastered." She then covered her mouth with her sleeve as she thought. "'Harmony is a lie.' Why would you claim such a thing?"

The Jedi Master shook her head. "The visions you saw were no hallucinations. I explained before that the only purpose of the herbs was to ease your mind for meditative purposes. It is possible to reach the same state without its assistance but it is improbable for beginners." She glanced over to her seat at the head of the table and back to Aphr. "I knew beforehand and therefore my subconscious mind resisted the pull. However, it aided me in reaching all of you during the course of your journeys.

"And so, I do not feel any guilt for my actions. But I apologize to you and all others for the perceived hostility."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"You brought everyone here to be at peace, and yet have caused nothing but chaos. You preach harmony, yet your actions display malicious intent. You may claim to just use the herbs to help us reach a state for meditative purposes, but did you ask a single person here if they wanted your help, or did your arrogance blind you into thinking you can assume we all want the same as you?"

Aphr clenched her fists.

"At least with the thugs on the street, you know where you stand. Clearly with the Jedi, we only know they believe they can act as they wish towards us."

She looked to the Sith, and sighed.

"I'm sure you'll have plenty to say at the next peace talks" she said to them, before turning back to Lyshea.

"You have displayed to all gathered here that you don't care for our views or opinions by your actions. I have no wish to associate myself with you anymore."

[Nekoinu]

Master Mersl turned her head to others in the room. "On the contrary, I sense that a few have made excellent progress. For all others, it is simply a matter of time." She took another breath. "My feelings tell me that some who have deepened their connection to the Force may not have chosen to partake in the journey if they were aware of it."

A pause.

"I will acquiesce one of your points, Aphr. It may not have been my place to guide you in that fashion. If you wish to depart, then I will not stop you."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal rubbed her temples, breathing to calm herself

''Master Mersl, you are an idiot. I well meaning idiot but an idiot nonetheless.'' she finally said

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha wasn't sure if she was more amused by the fact that sweet little Aphr was jumping to the Sith's defense, or that sassy Baesal was berating her senior infront of everyone else.

Nevertheless, the show certainly calmed her anger.

"I cannot accept the apology of someone who doesn't even acknowledge that her own actions goes against what she preaches. You are right, Master Jedi, in that peace and harmony is something that requires effort to achieve, and in a group it must be done in cohesive unison. In this instance, you erred greatly - taking away the freedom of choice to force them to see it your way." The pureblood smirked. "How could you possibly create peace when you do not even respect the individuals gathered here?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain just continued to smirk as the comedy continued through its various acts.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I am not sure this is an issue of respect." Yslane smiled, "The technique doesn't work if the mind is prepared. The problem is a doctrinal one... thinking as Jedi trying to aid another Jedi to come to terms with inner turmoil. Clearly most here are not Jedi so such was a miscalculation, well meaning but flawed."

"You have immediately assumed hostile intentions, despite words to the contrary. Despite evidence to the contrary. This was an attempt at helping that went wrong. To continue in anger risks turning that first misstep into another...and another."

[Durasay Mixo]

Durasay had remained quiet through the proceedings. There were hurt feelings, almost... antagonism through it. He wasn't sure what everyone else saw, or felt, though the visions. But he had come away feeling... centered. A greater understanding, as he felt. It seemed those who were most upset were those not allied with the Jedi, and based on the young bureaucrat's statement, it appeared he assumed correctly.

"If I may speak, as someone who is not a Jedi, and has no particular bent towards the Sith." His voice rose above the din, not angry, more in an attempt to be soothing. " I wasn't sure what to expect when I came, and to be honest, I'm still not sure why I came. But I found myself here, and I ate the meal, just as the rest of you. I can't explain what happened to any of you, or really any of me, but for the first time, in a long time, I find myself in a different place with my relationship to the Force."

There were times he viewed it as simply a tool, another piece of equipment to be used. But now... everything happening here in Nar Shaddaa, he was beginning to actually feel it working within him. Working within the galaxy, in a way he can't see it, but he can feel it, in only the slightest of ways.

"I don't think I would have come had I known exactly what was about to happen. Not with tensions this high on the Smuggler's Moon. But sometimes, we could all do with a little deception for a greater good. It's like giving in to the idea of stage magic. You give up a little reality, for the sake of finding the meaning in the show."

Shrugging, he tucked his hands into his coat pocket. "But maybe that's just me."

[Arali Zian]

"Perhaps." he nodded. "I don't really understand it, but I guess that's something for me to think about. What was your experience like?"

Arali goes through her own experience in her head. Nothing she didn't already know, but at the same time... nothing she wants to accept.

"Like I've been still too long. And like four and a half isn't enough times to lose a parent."
