Ashla shrugs. "I never thought about it. Never really had a choice."

His mouth twists a little, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean..." After a few beats, "I guess it's not the same, if you've been abused like that."

Ashla is kinda offended by the remark. "I wasn't abused." She thinks for a moment. "Unless that's what they paid for." She shrugs. "It doesn't matter anyways. Jedi are supposed to be celibate."

Not wanting to dwell on it because she knows she's lying through her teeth, to herself most of all, she decides to change the subject. "What about you? What do you like?"

Cole cocks his head to one side as he thinks, "there was this guy under my care in the kolto tanks." He shrugs again, "but with the tanks, they get decanted, they get redeployed, and you never get to exchange a word. It's like reading a menu when your jaw's wired shut."

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Oh. So, what was he like? Or has it only ever been this guy in a tank? Did you ever consider that's your thing? Guys in tanks?"

[Cole Ormont]

"The Republic Military recruits and molds fine men, and I do have a thing for a man out of uniform," the corner of his mouth curling up.

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Oh. So, is that why you are still in the military?" Ashla is teasing him now.

[Cole Ormont]

"Could be, could be. But no matter how many times I leave my number on reattached limbs, I never get a call," Cole smirks.

Ashla laughs. He does have a sense of humor. "Well, if they're in the tanks, they won't know. You should leave a dick pick too."

Cole chuckles, "damn, I knew I was forgetting something."

Ashla laughs. "That's a good one Cole."

After she stops, she sends him a message with the data she figured out from the slicing. "Just in case I can't make it. I should be able to, but I have stuff to do after my shift here. Let the rest of the team know. That may influence their decision."
