(D4 MA) Awakening

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain walked over to Shaisha and put his hand on her arm and whispered into her ear.

"This Miraluka woman's not worth your breath... she's provided us enough ammunition. If we laugh off this poor excuse of a woman, we win this round in stylistic fashion."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

The whispered words of her fellow Sith made her chuckle, her smile widening. "Fair enough, Sylvain."

[Galen Sol]

Arali goes through her own experience in her head. Nothing she didn't already know, but at the same time... nothing she wants to accept.

"Like I've been still too long. And like four and a half isn't enough times to lose a parent."

"I'm sorry." he offered a sympathetic smile. "Did you feel the connection to the Force she intended this to create?"

"Yeah," she admits, "Yeah, I did. Doesn't mean I have to like what it means."

[Galen Sol]

"Agreed." he nodded. "But, I'll admit, it has made me curious. And, I do think I need to learn more."

[Arali Zian]

"Oh, there's always more. And the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain then smiled and looked up to Yslane, "Once again you have spoken with clarity and grace Lady Tssilla. We are more than willing to forgive this transgression of this misguided old woman. There is no need to continue down a path of ultimately fruitless conversation when it is apparent that this woman obviously has no idea what she has done. Let it be known though, that such breaches of etiquette are not conducive to building the kind of mutual understanding requisite for peace. Fortunately none of my associates were hurt this evening, so it is possible for us all to laugh this off as some type of outlandish cultural difference... but intentional or not, the Republic and its citizens should be most careful in understanding the nature of the people they are interacting with. Instances like this will not be tolerated in the future."

He smiled warmly and nodded to the Miraluka, "Perhaps a little less personal experimentation with your own substances and some time spent with the Republic Foreign Office would be a fair suggestion to prevent any further troubles. Thank you for your this little trip through the discussion of the light side."

[Galen Sol]

"Oh, there's always more. And the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know."

"That's the way it should be." he nodded. "There's always more to learn, like the original code she mentioned. I didn't know there were different versions."

[Arali Zian]

"A lot of masters try to keep it that way," she shrugs. "Keep from confusing the kids."

[Galen Sol]

"Seems like another contradiction, denying them knowledge." he shrugged. "But, nothing is as simple as it seems. Have you had any trouble since we arrived on Nar Shaddaa?"

[Arali Zian]

"Jumped by some goons trying to kidnap a couple kids I was babysitting. Slew a bed. Ran like Hell. The usual," she deadpans, then sighs.

"There's been a rash of kidnappings lately. Focus is force sensitive children. But kids in general."

[Galen Sol]

"Kidnappings?" he sighed. "There's so much going on. Do you have any idea who's doing it? And, why did you slay a bed?"

[Arali Zian]

"Investigation's ongoing," Arali answers as a more dignified way of saying she has no idea.

"The kidnappers had the front door, so I cut us a new escape route through the floor. The bed was in the way."

[Galen Sol]

"Very creative." he nodded approvingly. "Was it your bed?"

[Arali Zian]

"Cheap hotel," she answers. "Also ruined three different locks to slow them down until reinforcements could arrive. Thankfully, the room wasn't on my account."

[Galen Sol]

"Ah, that's good." he smiled. "Don't forget. You can call us for help."

[Arali Zian]

"I know. And thank you," she returns the smile. "But, given we just tremendously increased the Jedi population on the planet for the peace talks, I played the odds and went with a Jedi distress signal."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane gives Durasay an appreciative smile, she regretted not having spoken to him before. Torsin's comments caused her to flinch a little, she understood the anger but it put her on the spot in front of a Master.

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele took a sip of the new water, as she observed the spats.

Sigh. Stupid master. She noticed Yslane's flinch, but didn't react to it, though there was a small frown.

"I am happy that we can agree that while the intentions were noble, the execution was misguided today." She gave a nod to everyone involved. "I understand that after all of this, many people's opinions are different, though if anyone is interested in further study, the Jedi are open and willing to help. I hope we can rebuild the trust we lost here today."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Lady Alysele," Shaisha gave a more respectful acknowledgement of the Alderaanian Jedi. "You've proven yourself capable and sensible. Even Jedi Master Garrick Lorne seemed to put his faith in you."

Probably a stretch of the truth there.

"Know that you will always be welcome at my private residence, as I would be happy to speak more of our Orders with you. I believe we could both learn much from eachother."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal looks at Sylvain like he was the biggest bore on the moon before returning her attention to the Jedi master. There did not seem to be anger in her voice as she spoke to her

''Master Mersl, you did say yourself that you did not fully master the path...so, if you allow it, I have a question for you: in that light, could you be wrong? Could you still make mistakes?''

Master Mersl parted from Galen and Arali, clearly pleased by their discourse. She had no more words to add to Durasay or Yslane's words; they receive a curt nod as sign of agreement.

For all the insults, there was only one phrase that seemed to bother her. "I am not that old," she mumbled. Then she shook her head and resumed her usual, serene demeanor. "You are correct. As I am not master of the universe, I am still capable of making mistakes." She looked to the Sith and then back to Baesal. "A 'cultural' error then?"

[Aphr Ahaya]

She actually reacted, and admitted to a mistake? Aphr was quite impressed.

"Cultural error" she nodded in agreement, moving out of arguments range, sitting down nearby.

[Baesal Zyn]

''No...not a cultural error, just an error'' She said calmly, not ready to play the sith's game

''Would you consider my point of view?'' she continued asking

[Nekoinu]

"A 'cultural' error is an error," she stated with a smile. Lyshea then bowed her head. "What else do you have on your mind?"
