"Master Lorne was here for what, a day? And then he went back to war." She shrugged. "As for me, I would like to become a Jedi Knight in that time. After that, well, I don't know. It's been a long time since Jedi Knights have served any other purpose but fighting in this war."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Yeah, he seemed reluctant to stay. Too bad. His presence might've helped us foster peace, if he was willing to make some symbolic gestures. He seemed set in his ways." She smiled at Zuura. It was a strange smile... too calm. Too happy. "Have you thought about what that means? Being a Knight? I have been a Knight for roughly a year... and I still feel I don't know."

[Nekoinu]

"If Master Lorne ever decides to make peace with a Sith personally, I'll swear off using pheromones."

Zuraa smiled back at her. "Is it bad that the first thought I have is: be a badass?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Oh what, are you using them now?" Aly's face showed concern over that. Is she drugging me?

"Badass is fine... but how do you be a badass in peace?"

[Nekoinu]

Zuraa smiled at her. "I meant in general, Lady Cortess."

On the other matter: "By keeping it. Enforcing it?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Oh. Do you... do it often? When with others?" She asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"Oh... how about something with not fighting. Can you picture that?"

[Nekoinu]

The Falleen shrugged and looked away. "As a force of habit, maybe."

The padawan then shook her head. "Well, I also meant like the diplomacy side of things."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Ah, okay." She left it at that... for now.

"Oh. You do have a mouth on you." She smirked. "That does sound interesting... I mean, for a while, we have known only war. How would it feel to be... not at it."

[Nekoinu]

"It's a natural part of my species. We are talented at it." She gave an arrogant smile. "I think there will always be some war to manage. A war against poverty, a war against slavery."

[Alysele Cortess]

"How do you stab slavery?" Aly smiled back. "A talent, eh?" her legs gently kicked Zuraa's. "Now now.... that is unbecoming of a Jedi.... until you've proven yourself."

[Nekoinu]

Zuraa smirked. "No, no, I mean like convincing them to stand down or something."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Stand down from poverty. Really." she quirked an eyebrow while she was smiling. Oh, Alysele Cortess was enjoying this.

[Nekoinu]

"We were talking about slavery! Ugh!" She shook her head. "Like distribution of wealth or fair wages for the workers or something!"

[Alysele Cortess]

Alys let out a small laugh. "Sorry, I just couldn't help but take the shot." She did a finger pistol thing at Zuura.

"Mhm... sounds nice. Sadly, the Force does not help us become better economists."

[Nekoinu]

The padawan did a mock death in response to the pistol. She hung her head until eventually bursting out into a giggle. "Yeah, well, it can at least help convince them to do the right thing.'

[Alysele Cortess]

"Oh, that is your plan then? Go for feelings, instead of facts? How cunning of you, Master Zuura."

[Nekoinu]

She sighed. "Jedi always say, 'searching your feelings,' don't they? I don't know! You're the one who is supposed to be the senior and good at this!"

[Alysele Cortess]

"See? More pressure from everyone, even my juniors!" She let out a laugh. "Yeah.. it's tough." She shrugged. "We live one step at a time. Or at least that is how it feels."

[Nekoinu]

"'More pressure from everyone' huh?" She smiled faintly. "What's going on, Lady Cortess?"
