[Dapper Dog]

"Does this Jedi have a name or should I begin running down a list of possible Jedi," she responds.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"A woman named Yslane Tssilla... padawan to Thy Yulani... a woman I intend to kill at this first possible opportunity."

[Dapper Dog]

"That should extend to all Jedi, son," she replies calmly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"And yet your collusion with them draws the attention of those who would be allies... You drive away Marr and others who would join us through your methods." He replied.

He paused, "You are cutting the legs out from under yourself... What is your plan mother? It appears your visions are not aligning with reality at this point."

[Dapper Dog]

"That's the problem with you Sylvain... the problem with everyone you cling to this Empire to this reality like it matters. Empire... Republic... it's all smoke and mirrors. I don't care about any of that, this is all just a sham. Why cling to a dying beast," she says casually.

"There is a larger truth. There is no future for anyone. This galaxy is going to burn."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain looked at her carefully, "How? What have you seen?"

[Dapper Dog]

"There is a void coming that will consume all life, even if you rise to power you will die," she says grimly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"How do you know this?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I am not sure I should tell you, I am beginning to doubt your allegiance to the family," she counters sweetly. "You think I don't know about you sniffing around?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I have commited to help you have I not?" He asked.

"This? I've been running around for Intelligence today... They picked up some intel on a potential threat listed at this address. Came over here to take a brief look... I'm in no shape for anything else."

[Dapper Dog]

“You said words, your actions seem to imply a growing weakness and allegiance to the Light,” she hisses.

“It is distressing.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I seek only for power in all its shapes and sizes... Further utility creates opportunities. I have no allegiance to either Light or Dark... I merely use the tools available to overcome whatever confronts me. Perhaps even the power to overcome whatever future you see." He replied.

"But you are dodging the question mother... How did you see this?"

[Dapper Dog]

“You have fallen to the Light… I could forgive your affection for Kristal as a child’s fascination but to be a pawn of the Light… that is nigh unforgivable,” she hisses with a shake of her head.

“You don’t think I see and know you are plotting against me… your own mother? Everything I have done has been to protect you… shield you. This is how you repay my sacrifices?”

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shook his head, "You have told me nothing of your sacrifices... how am I to know what you have done for me?! You've spent too many years with Baras... turned into his clone in how you speak to me. You speak in riddles and lies and deflect at every opportunity. You ask for devotion and trust and then chide me for extending myself to others... You speak of family and betray father to the scum of the universe..."

He shook his head in frustration, "I am no more converted to the light than anyone else. I merely refuse to adhere to any dogma or foolish hogwash that seeks to deprive me of opportunity and power. I will kill, I will lie, I will coerce, I will do all the Dark Side urges if it be the way to accomplish my goals. But I am also not afraid to let someone live, persuade rather than coerce, accumulate additional members of a party to accomplish a collective goal... Whatever needs to be done in any situation mother."

He put his hands on the desk in front of him, "And mother... I'm telling you... If you value 'family'. If you truly have done all this for me... then the way to accomplish what you want is to tell me what it is you have done. Let me in to your circle... Let's find a way to make this work. Because the more you push away, the more you act like Baras; the more you become Baras in my mind... and the weaker my ties to you become. You'll be forced to kill me, and see all your work go to nothing if you keep doing what you are doing. That is the path you are on... it is one that I cannot follow."

He looked into her eyes, "Tell me what you have done for me mother... tell me what you are planning to do for me..."

[Dapper Dog]

“I have set into motion events that will set the galaxy on fire, and war will be the only outcome,” she says confidently.

“I have created the perfect environment for a Sith to rise and avert the greatest threat to the Galaxy. Peace is a lie, my son. The only strength is in conflict and opposition.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"You speak in vagaries too much mother..." He replied with a shake of his head.

"You make me fill in all the blanks with my own thoughts... seek for me to incorporate myself into your own webs. I am to assume that sith is me, I am to assume you plan on starting a lasting war through assassinating Baras at these talks, and I'm to assume how I somehow come out on top of all of this... I am not the type to go blindly into the webs of others without knowing the terrain. Being like Baras does you no good if your intent is truly to have me at your side..."

He shakes his head, "For once... speak straightforward and precisely as you have done all of my life. Spell it out for me. Because for now... All I see is the entire might of the Empire coming to bear on you personally... to squash you and erase you from existence."

[Dapper Dog]

“They will try,” she says with devious grin.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain went quiet at her response and stood there for several moments pondering what to do and say. He just watched his mother for a long time, wondering what had warped her mind and given her these visions which seemed to be driving her to madness.

"What has driven you to this point mother...? That's really all you're going to say to me as your son?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I am not sure I can trust you, my own son... plotting against me," she says with a shake of her head.

"The Void threatens to consume everything and you are concerned with petty romance and playing your little games. You want to survive you don't question my motives."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Did father not question your motives before you stabbed him in the chest?" Sylvain asked with a steely eyed look.

"For from what you are showing me... that appears to be my fate as well if I were to trust you. You get fixated on what you perceive to be faults in me... and miss how you are fucking up the only thing you supposedly give a damn about. If you want to have me defeat this 'Void'... you must change your methods."

[Dapper Dog]

“He never had much of a chance, explosives tend to be short on manners,” his mother replies.

“I have to change my methods?” she hisses. “Do not turn against me son; that would be a fatal and terrible mistake.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Prove what you are doing is actually for me then... and not just yourself." He replied.

"All I'm asking is for you to let me have confidence in your ability to succeed, not falling for your appeals to my sentimentality should give you confidence I'm not as weak or foolish as you think."

[Dapper Dog]

“Then prove your loyalty,” she says.

“Give this to Shaisha,” she slides over a data chit. “Tell her that you found this killing one of my agents. Do this and my confidence in your loyalties will be restored.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

He looked at the chip and nodded, "It will be done."

[Dapper Dog]

"We shall see," she says.

"I have things to do my son, may the Force make you strong."
