[Day 1 - EN] Vode An

[Niall Organa]

“Mandalorian means many things it is the people of Mandalore,” he nods to Shae and then gestures to the gathered soldiers, “It also refers to the warrior clans that are spread across the galaxy. We are the sons and daughters of a legacy of warfare.”

“Now it has become known as a fancy word for mercenary but we are more than that. We fight for honor and glory, to prove we are the strongest most deadly fighting force in the galaxy. There is a reason why Revan wore the mask of a Mandalorian in battle, to remind him of the honor and strength he had faced in battle.”

“It is time we remembered our sacred past, it is time for Mando’a to rise,” he stands and shouts “MANDO’ADE…. Mando’ad draar digu!”

The Mandalorians begin to sing loudly as others play instruments.

Corso adds, "Vode an!"

After a long moment, Niall gave Corso a firm nod. "If I've offered an insult to your honor, I'll apologize."

He waited a beat before continuing. "I don't know what's between you and the Republic. But if you deal straight with the military, than we'll give you the same respect."

Well. That was certainly an answer to the question he came here for.

[Lt. Varra]

Varra nursed her drink at the bar, feigning disinterest in the Twi’leks as they conversed, then left the cantina together. The red one had come down from the upper level…and was a Sith, eh? Interesting.

She glanced up to where Corso Fett was entertaining Captain Organa.

“Who is that up there, anyway?” she idly asked the person next to her. “Some kind of big shot?”

[Eight]

Eight saw Aphr move over towards a red masked Twi'lek and his scanning of the bar paused. The droid brought his attention to the pair for a moment, but eventually brushed it off as they moved away. Xierreau left a long leash for his slave, too long perhaps, and it was none of his business if she wandered off with someone. Had he seen the face of the red Twi'lek, he likely would have taken the matter considerably more seriously.

He turned his attention towards the upper levels as well, computing for a moment before moving towards a group of more raucous Mandalorians. The droid stops before them, examining the drunken group coldly before speaking. "Been awhile since I've had the chance to, hrmm, what was the word, Akaanir, with some of the mighty Mandolorians. Who wants to blow off some steam?"

Oh this promised to be worthwhile if he could prove himself.

[Nekoinu]

The bashful Thera Ordo was the one to take the bait. "That's, um, Corso Fett. I'm surprised you don't, um, know him." She then nodded. "Yeah, I guess. I mean, yes, he's a big shot as you put it."

[Dapper Dog]

“That’s Corso Fett, trying to be next Mandalore the way I hear it, more fool him,” a burly woman says as she throws back more ale.

Well. That was certainly an answer to the question he came here for.

“I always respect my enemies and my allies. The Republic and Empire have shown themselves to be worthy of respect, so we make sure to give as we get,” he says confidently.

“I have nothing specific against the Republic, business is business. But if the Mando’a are to reclaim our destiny then someone is going to be angry, we will need territory, a home land to call our own. One world won’t be enough,” he says drinking more of the liquor.

“You can see how that may become a problem, especially for you aruetii.”

[Eight]

A tall lanky duros nods and says, “What’s a droid know about warrior’s honor?”

"This droid has been fighting since when your grandfather was in diapers, though I've forgotten much of it, I know I was built to fight. My servos spin at the thought of it, my matrices flair at the prospect." The droid's optics flickered slightly, he held his arms open wide. "Come on fleshbag, we both know there's only one way to show it."

It was another clear invitation. There was some bluster there, Eight wasn't a brawler, he prefered his guns, but guns were usually a poor way to introduce yourself.

[Niall Organa]

"Hmmm." Niall said, taking another drink of the liquor himself, trying to strike the balance between rudeness and drunkenness. "If one world isn't enough, is two? Or three?"

He turned the cup in his hand. "Because if there is a limit, it may just depend on which worlds. But if it's the wrong ones, or there is no limit, then you're right. We probably would see that as a problem." His tone was matter of fact.

[Corso Fett]

“What would the Republic deem as acceptable… or more importantly what would the Republic give if a strong Mando’a nation directed their fire against the Empire,” he offers sitting back.

OOC: Brawl check at Average with a setback due to the Mandalorian training, I am going to spend a Destiny on this to upgrade the difficulty to one purple and one red.

Turning back to Night, he smiled. "So, how about some whiskey now?"

Night flashes her dangerous smile, “I was thinking more a nightcap, if your friend is leaving maybe it’s a good idea we make ourselves scarce as well. These kinds of things tend to get violent sooner than later and I prefer to keep my savagery... private.”

“What would the Republic deem as acceptable… or more importantly what would the Republic give if a strong Mando’a nation directed their fire against the Empire,” he offers sitting back.

"That..." Niall's eyebrows went up. "That would be a question above my paygrade, so to speak. But not so high above that I can't say with certainty that it's a question that the Republic would be very interested in answering."

[Galen Sol]

Night flashes her dangerous smile, “I was thinking more a nightcap, if your friend is leaving maybe it’s a good idea we make ourselves scarce as well. These kinds of things tend to get violent sooner than later and I prefer to keep my savagery... private.”

"Well, I have another friend who's about to fight." he looked over at Eight. "But, I've seen that before. I'm much more interested in what you might show me. Let's go."

[Corso Fett]

“It would require a show of good faith from the Republic,” he says calmly.

“Mando’a desire battle, we would need a good foe. It’s either going to be the Republic or the Empire, I am just being honest. The clans will demand it, but I can direct that fire if given the proper incentive.”

[Dapper Dog]

Night hooks her arm with Galen's and takes another drag of the sweet stick and says, “Your place, then.”

[Galen Sol]

"We'll find a place." He said. "That will be more comfortable and more private."

[Niall Organa]

“It would require a show of good faith from the Republic,” he says calmly.

“Mando’a desire battle, we would need a good foe. It’s either going to be the Republic or the Empire, I am just being honest. The clans will demand it, but I can direct that fire if given the proper incentive.”

"I understand." Niall said with a nod. "Did you have something in mind for the show of good faith? I might guess, but I don't know your people. And I judge you as the sort who has no problem speaking your mind."

[Nudimsu]

It had been a little while and his instructions were simple; meet up within a hour, make sure Craw was alive and not caught up in either some Hutt plot or had pissed off anyone enough to want to kill him.

It seems that the only person who risked getting pissed was a Craw himself. After going in thru the usual means, he glanced around at those who were there and, seeing as there were no immediate danger, moved to nudge the drunken Mando with a disgusted look upon his face.

"Of course you are passed out." He motions to his face and snaps his fingers a few times. "You functioning, Craw?"

[Arsele Girard]

It was strange coming to the club and not working. Very strange. But her patron earlier had made a good point about it being a chance to make connections.

So Arsele had stopped by her place and put on a nice black dress that showed off her pale skin. Walking into the club she stopped and breathed in the familiar scent before walking further in, towards the VIP area.

[Moyr Ahaya]

Outside, in the red lights, the woman calling herself the Red Wraith looked even more ominous. She walked in silence to an empty, shaded spot, then turned to face the other Twi'lek again.

"What drives you? What is your purpose of living, Aphr Ahaya?"

[Craw Toboga]

Craw was lying on the bar, holding a half-empty bottle in one hand and murmuring something to himself with his eyes half closed. When the chiss got his attention, Craw jumped up in his seat and looked around, looking alarmed. "I'm up! I'm up!" He paused when he noticed the Chiss, the same look of misery and guilt replacing his panic. "Oh... It's you... Who dragged you out of the ship?"

[Nudimsu]

"You did. Last thing I need for you is to get yourself drunk or killed on our first night in Hutt territory." There was a passive amusement in his voice. "You look..."

He gives him a glance up and at his condition. "...expected. Have you enjoyed yourself, Craw? Did the alcohol do its intended goal?"

[Craw Toboga]

He sneers at the chiss, before chugging the rest of the bottle and putting it back on the bar. "Enjoyed? Fuck no... Old ghosts coming back and haunting me..." He looks to the distance. "You know I don't like looking myself in the eyes very often... But when I do I remember what a fucking dumbass I am..." He pauses. "But the booze is good yeah... Better than that bothan swill you insist on stocking the ship with."

[Nudimsu]

"You see what you want to see, Craw." He looks over to the other patrons before glancing at him.

"It's called tea. Surely there must be some Mandalorians who drink it on occasion."

[Craw Toboga]

He shrugs, while ordering another refill from the distressed bartender. "Yeah, there are. Can't say it's my sort of beverage, but on occasion, yeah." He pauses. "You know there's a good chance that someone's coming to Nar Shaddaa to kill me in the near future."
