[Day 2 - LE] The Big Game

[Zeno Deathwright]

He nodded, "I've been well. Back on Dromund Kaas for most of the past year. Counterintelligence, diplomacy, and the like occupy my time now. You've made quite the name for yourself."

"Glad to hear you're keeping busy and productive. You're undoubtedly doing more for the Empire than a few military strikes," he says with a grin.

Shaisha went for some water to refresh herself... but swallowing wasn't the most comfortable excersise when it felt like her ribs were broken.

"Oh... hey Zeno," she smiled, but she was obviously not feeling her best. "You look better in real life than on the Holo."

"I'm always glad to see you, holo or real," he says with a returned smile. "Would you be up for a quiet and relaxing night in to rest after the game? I'd love to catch up."

As much as she might want to say yes, it seemed like a very bad idea.

"Huh... maybe... tomorrow? Should probably sleep this off... if it's possible to sleep off fractured ribs..."

"I don't think that's too possible. But if you need rest, I want you to rest," he says with a nod.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Let's go drinking tomorrow... yes?" She smiled widely.

Judging by how her voice fluctuated, those who knew her well could probably guess that she was in a lot more pain than she let on.

"Alright, sounds good," he replies with a nod.

[Nekoinu]

Madame Ulter was nowhere to be seen. Moyr decided to find a place to take a seat.

"Wow! What a game, what a game!" Zios walked over to the red twi'lek star and plopped down next to her. "I cannot believe Evangeline missed this one. Well, actually, I can, with the whole 'Crescent Shadow' thing but they're nothing." He paused. "Ah! I forgot something. Zios Thran! I sell weapons and shoot them too!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Well met, Mr Thran. I am the Red Wraith, but you can pick another name if you find this too ominous." She chuckled under the mask. "I didn't know I would enjoy the game this much. But I suppose if you score a hat trick at your debut you can't say otherwise." She regarded the man through slits in the mask ."Crescent Shadow? So this is how those sad ruffians call themselves? Well they seemed enough to put Mr N'ventas out of the business. I wonder what he did to them, to my best knowledge he was a slicer, not a slave trader."

[Nekoinu]

"Red Wraith, huh? That certainly is ominous!" he exclaimed with the same enthusiasm. "You know, they say that Huttball brings anyone and everyone together! Republic, Sith, Hutt, Exchange; everyone loves it!"

Zios stopped and looked around. "Hm, well, word of advice: it's not good to talk about them up here. As for Aris N'ventas, I couldn't say! I think they just chose the easiest target! He had security but he wasn't paranoid like Evangeline or a good shot like Thera or I." He paused, his expression turning to one of contemplation. "But what if he did do something? What, what, what could he have done? So many theories, not enough evidence. Evidence is very important for conclusions, yes."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I can understand being good and being paranoid. You are a very sociable and level-headed Mr Thran! Is Ms Ulter a friend of yours?" She chuckled. "Well, if Mr N'ventas took a leak against a wrong storm, it would meen the rebellious ragtag could either be hired or led on. An interesting thought. Still, life suffers no vacuum, so I expect Mr N'ventas' niche will soon be filled by someone else."

[Nekoinu]

"Evangeline? We bet on Huttball games from time to time! She's usually better at predicting them." His face turned contemplative again for a brief moment but then he dove right back into the conversation. "I'm not sure what you're getting at with Aris N'ventas! But whatever you're saying sounds good to me! And I heard that people were already taking over his organization! That's pretty exciting but I wonder how long it'll last!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Well, staying power is usually harder than power grab, isn't it? As a successful businessman, you certainly have a thing or two to say about it." She laughed. "Your business is in armaments, right? Both guns and blades? Wholesale or individual client as well? Collector's pieces?"

[Nekoinu]

"Oh definitely, definitely! The amount of rivals I had to shoot when I first started. It was pretty fun!" He then thought on it. "Wouldn't go back to it, though. But yes! I sell weapons, armor, explosives, and so on! I usually sell wholesale but individual can be arranged!" A pause. "But oh! A woman called the Red Wraith must be a Sith! Yes, a powerful one in need of lightsaber components! I just got my hands on some! You ought to see it." Another pause. "Oh. Well, erm, someone else may be in the market still for them. Hm, mentioning that was a mistake."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I am quite happy with my lightsabre, thank you, though I may peruse what you have for personal curiosity. A friend of mine may need one soon, I could send her your way if this would seem like a good business opportunity to you." She smirked. "If anything, I am an accidental seller. I have a rare ancient cortosis blade to pass to an avid collector, but it is outside of your interest, I suppose?"

[Nekoinu]

"I don't think they would mind a little missing. I'd let them know, of course. But yes! Send her my way!" He then shook his head. "I can't say I'm looking for one! I try not to get too attached to any weapon! If I did, then I wouldn't want to sell any! And I mainly sell wholesale too, unless you have a bunch of them! That would be quite cool, wouldn't it?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Of course. But I have just one. I heard Ms Ulter might be interested."

[Nekoinu]

Zios nodded, or rather, his head vibrated up and down. "Yes! She likes collector pieces! Darn! Another reason for it to be a shame for her not being here."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Indeed! I hope all the hiccup with calm down soon. And what is her another favourite place?"

[Nekoinu]

"She favors the Aurum Rancor! Good dining, has an arrangement to get a table whenever she wants. Conducts business meetings there! Sometimes I go with her. Only time I really do. Otherwise, I stick with easy, portable meals."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Me, sometimes I like it simple, sometimes I want sophisticated. No need to settle for one thing." She kept her voice amused. "Would you let her know I want to meet her next time you two meet?"

[Nekoinu]

"Both of us? You don't want to have, say, a meeting with just her? I mean, you can come, sure, but seems like an odd request to me!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"This is what I meant, to meet just her. But in cultured company you two constitute an advance introduction from a man of your position makes things better, doesn't it?"

[Nekoinu]

"Ah! Yes, yes, yes, I will do so. 'The Red Wraith wishes to speak with you!' Something like that. I'm sure I can sell it well. I can sell anything well."

[Moyr Ahaya]

Moyr laughed under the mask. "You can add the story of my Huttball score."

[Nekoinu]

"Right! You were right to remind me! She will surely want to know of your astounding play! Evangeline, Evangeline. What could you be working on? Well obviously it pertains to this, but still!"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Has she disappeared like this ever before?" Moyr mused.
