[Nunki Malyna]

Nunki waited in a small lobby. She had been told to wait here for her meeting, but at this time of day there were very few people around, and a Jedi was quite out of place.

[Dapper Dog]

Kidaja enters looking... tired for a hutt, he says in Huttese, "Master Jedi, I don't usually meet all my guests in person, welcome."

Several thugs trail his wake, well guards.

[Nunki Malyna]

She had come prepared, her datapad giving her a speech-to-text translation of the Hutt.

"It is an honor to make your acquaintance. These are unusual circumstances for a meeting, of course. Not every day an imperial ship gets hit in a docking bay like that."

[Dapper Dog]

Kidaja shrugs and responds, "No one died that I am aware of, it seems your people have brought war to Nar Shaddaa"

He keeps slithering, assuming she will follow.

[Nunki Malyna]

Nunki stands as he begins to leave, following behind the Hutt, staggered to his side.

"My people? So you think a Republic agent did it?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Republic... Empire all the same, your war is bad for business," he responds as he slithers.

[Nunki Malyna]

"War is bad for everybody. That's why we're all here, and why I'm here right now. Doesn't matter if it's a Sith or a Jedi, these acts are simply horrible."

[Dapper Dog]

"So what do you want, I am busy Hutt, you see," he replies in Huttese.

[Nunki Malyna]

"I'm here about the attacks in the docking bay. I was hoping you'd be willing to let me look at security footage, some records about who was working where, doing what... That kind of thing."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am not inclined to let a Jedi near our security systems," he says coldly.

[Nunki Malyna]

"Well then I won't touch anything myself. Download the footage, information, all that fun stuff to a datapad, and I'll look at it on my own. Or, you can have all the security personnel you want there while I'm poking around. I go somewhere you don't want me, they let me know."

[Dapper Dog]

Kidaja thinks that over and then says in Huttese to a servant, "Get the security data,"

He looks back at the Jedi, "You should know the Imperial have been snooping in our systems, so we are not pleased. We hope the Republic will be more respectful."

[Nunki Malyna]

"Of course," she says, watching the servant leave. "I'm not demanding anything of you. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated, and noted. We're only here for the purpose of Justice."

[Dapper Dog]

"The Republic is going to extreme lengths on behalf of the Empire, if you seek justice Dango would be quite pleased if this investigation implicated the Empire in some way," Kidaja offers.

[Nunki Malyna]

"Really now? Well, we might be in touch more then. I think something like that is very possible. And we're not here on behalf of the Empire, heavens no. We're here on our own accord, to make sure they don't try and implicate us."

[Dapper Dog]

"Maybe you misunderstood my meaning, we would like this investigation of the Jedi to implicate the Empire no matter the outcome. I am prepared to offer a thousand credits to help your guilty conscious," he offers.

[Nunki Malyna]

"Well, I'll still be in touch. I hope you are not offended if I think this offer over."

[Dapper Dog]

Kidaja says, "Do not think too long, master Jedi."

A servant returns with a datapad and hands it to her. Kidaja adds, "Think it over, now if you will excuse me."

[Nunki Malyna]

"Thank you for your kindness and assistance. I'll be in touch." She says as she stops, letting the Hutt slither on and stowing away the datapad.
