Just Desserts: Climax [Day 3, Early Evening]

With their business not yet complete. Kristal, Sylvain, and Asra return to the Red Light District read to begin their hunt. Searching for the man who had betrayed his crew for self interest. With Asra surveying the location, Kristal readied herself for the moment they would come into contact with their quarry.

Sylvain stood ready to help as well for anything that may arise.

Asra snuck into the area and soon looked toward Kristal, giving the signal. They'd cornered the person of interest without alerting them. A few close calls, but success was had.

With Asra's signal Kristal sprung into action, jumping forward when they cornered him inside of his safe house above a storefront. While Asra covered the outside from an adjacent building Kristal and Sylvain went inside. Kristal taking the left, most direct route, while Sylvain went up the stairs toward the right. From there the stage was set.

Kai Fessler was pacing about in the safe house when he noticed something, it wasn't Asra exactly but the groups presence outside. There was an eerie calm on the street that gave away how it was already too late to sneak away. Kai Fessler had been found. Sprinting out from the room with little chance to think he spilled out into the hallway only to find Kristal approaching from the left. Instead of some grandiose statement the blonde Sith simply reached to her side and pulled the lightsaber from her belt as she leaned forward into a sprint.

Scrambling to his feet Kai took off in the other direction. Running straight for his only way out, the stairs that rarely anyone used this day and age. Dodging past other residents in the complex and taking a fall once or twice the defamed mercenary was almost there, he could taste the adrenaline pouring into his system and giving him that all too familiar rush. Only to have the sudden sobering moment in the image of Sylvain standing at the top of the stairs. It was clear from the mask, the outfit, the man was a Sith as well and there was no coincidence there. Ever before Sylvain prepared himself to stop the targer Kai took a sudden turn. Bashing on a keypad to enter one of the adjacent rooms for some cover.

Panic started to set in just as the door opened. There it was, hope. Hope he could find a way out of this. Just as he went to rush inside a blaster bolt came in out of the door way. Having been fired through a window inside of the room, nearly collecting his head right there if he hadn't thrown himself to the ground to evade it. With all other avenues cut off he reached for his blaster as he pushed himself from the ground with his other hand. Twisting to look back at Kristal, and only finding the Sith had eliminated considerable ground between them. Only having a moment before the Serasai was within striking distance. Quickly raising his blaster he fire, two shots, straight into the wall behind her as Kristal's blue blade sliced across the mans chest. Ending his life before he even knew it.

Blaster slipping out of his fingers before his body caught up with the action. It soon too slumped to the ground. Standing over him Kristal looked over to Sylvain and raised a hand to the communicator in her ear, speaking over it, "Corporal, it is done."

It was a simple matter of collecting proof of the kill after that.
