"Do you have any actual talent, or do you just know the basics. Because if it's just the basics, I'm not going to be particularly impressed."

'' I do know how to influence the mind of others and how to move objects offensively, although I still lack of a deeper connection to the force. '' He replied calmly.

[Layne Hoshin]

Move objects offensively? Goddamnit, this guy's better at it than me?

She frowned.

"Whatever, guess it's something at least. And don't think about influencing my mind."

'' Why would I?'' He asked, a bit of confusion in his voice.

[Layne Hoshin]

She rolled her eyes when she noticed his confusion. "Are you sure you're not secretly a Jedi?"

Rumun laughs. '' Oh Definitely, I'm not. Afterall Peace is a Lie.''

[Layne Hoshin]

She was not actually so sure that it was.

But refrained from point that out.

"Then don't ask questions that only a Jedi would ask."

Rumun nods.

He was fascinated with the being known as Layne Hoshin AKA 'The Little Wrath'. He wanted to know more about her conection to these slavers, as these slavers were conected to Haydriss, who had a link to Zash, Zash to Skotia, etc.

A huge interconnected pattern between beings. An immensely complex web. He wanted to decipher it.

'' We should be near the warehouse...'' He looked around as he tried to see where was the building.

[Layne Hoshin]

Oblivious to the seeds of obsession forming in the blue alien, Layne just concentrated on the task they had been given. Though she had her own curiosity... and thoughts.... regarding the slavers.

[Nekoinu]

The warehouse was there and unassuming. Unsurprisingly, the door was locked with a console on the side. There was a sign claiming the place was For Sale and currently out of use.

[Layne Hoshin]

"You any good with locks? If not, we'll just burn our way through with a lightsaber."

[Rumun Gol]

'' I'm not very good at bypassing security consoles. '' He shrugs. '' But let me try. If I can't then we will have to brake through with force''

Rumun took a minute or two. It was a good quality security lock but with a bit of luck and recent experience with locked doors, Rumun successfully cracked the code.

"Alright, let's go."

Just in case things went horribly wrong, Layne pulled out her lightsaber as she went inside, just so she'd have it in hand if things required it. She did keep it off though.

Rumun followed her. He also pulled out his lightsaber. Just in case.

The door slid open loudly with a creaking sound. Inside it was ill lit and there was nobody to greet them immediately.

"Go floor by floor," Layne said, "check everywhere."

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun nods without saying anything. He tries to notice something that could tell them anything about this place and its owners.

Layne was the best at looking at stuff. Even if her eyes were getting tired.

Layne found everything just fine. Some old equipment, old cameras. Cameras that still worked. "What are you doing here?" a voice asked over the intercom, "This is private property."

"That so?" She called out, looking into the nearest security camera she could find. "We just so happen to be looking for the owners. They missed their scheduled appointment."

[Nekoinu]

A pause. "Who are you? Who sent you?"

[Layne Hoshin]

She looked briefly at Rumun, before rolling on ahead with the truth. Wasn't like there was much of a choice.

"Lord Haydriss sent us to check on you."

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun approached to where Layne was, and stood next to her. He looked at her and shrugged.

Yep, there wasn't much of an option here other than saying the truth.
