"Then keep me appraised with messages when something comes up that I need to know." She gave her brother a smile. "And know that if Vowrawn asks me to kill you, I'll tell him to shove it. Though I suspects he knows that already."

He chuckled, "I told Baras as much when he asked if I would kill you or Kris on his command. Nice to know the feeling would be reciprocated."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Doubtful that you could take on either on me or Kris even if you wanted to follow his command," she smirked confidently.

"Anything else I should know?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shook his head and then paused, "I hear you went shopping with Kris."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Hm, someone needs to show her a good time once in a while. It's certainly not happening under Darth Marr," she chuckled, giving Sylvain a confirming nod. "And I wasn't going to let her continue wearing those clothes when there might be more social affairs in the near future."

He nodded, "She looked good in the dress you two found."

"Glad you liked it, but it was most important to me that she found something she felt good in. For all her Serasai steel and cool, she's an insecure young woman." Her gaze might've sharpened a little in Syl's direction.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded. "I wasn't trying to make it about me."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Uh-huh," she chuckled.

"She's still hurting over it, you know..."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded. "Understandably."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"What about you though? Still set on she being the one for you, even if she might never fully let that wound heal?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "There will never be anyone else. Even if she's never mine again, I'll always be her's."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Sounds like chains to me," Shaisha said, her voice carefully neutral. "Then again, the other one was also trying to chain you down."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"We all choose our own 'chains'. I'd gladly choose the chains of making that woman happy and strong over any other kind of obligation." He replied.

"I know you don't know what it's like, so it's no big deal... But I don't see them as chains... You sound like Moyr when you compare the devotion I have for Kris to bondage."

"It's not that I mean devotion to anyone is a chain," Shaisha corrected. "But it seemed to me more like what Moyr wanted from you were more chains than what you want with Kristal. However, these can become your chains if you allow it to become your weakness, rather than your strength."

"Still I believe that the three of us, with the bonds the have through the Force, makes us stronger."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"They are my strength. They give me focus... purpose." He replied.

"Help me to remember to never stray from who I am again."

She nodded.

"Kristal is giving you a second chance... albeit slowly. Do not squander it, because there will never be more."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "I will take what I am given. Offer whatever she will accept, and treasure every moment I have with her. I know she's trying... trying to move forward with me. And I respect her greatly for her effort. As I promised you and her... I will never betray her trust again."

"Good. I don't want to have to be the one awkwardly left in the middle again either..." Shaisha had never felt before like she was the glue keeping their trio together, but that had changed on Yavin IV when she was forced there. And then afterwards she had to be the one to try and talk sense into them both.

"Yavin IV changed us a lot... hard to believe it sometimes."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Those couple months did..." he said as he looked back in his mind. There was probably no time in his life he regretted more of the things he did than during his final trials. It's what had made him who he is now... but had come at too high a cost.

Shaisha put a hand on Syl's shoulder. Much like she had done for Kristal earlier that day.

"You two have such a clinical relationship to passion and emotions. I'm blaming your parents and bloodlines on that," she said teasingly, even if there was some truth to it.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled, "Our families have seen hundreds of years of unbridled emotion ruin the efforts of dedicated individuals... and I've seen how it can destroy everything I care for and want to protect... Emotions without something to harness them have never created something that lasts."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Not all of us wants something that lasts," she shrugged.

"Just... don't lose the strength of those emotions. What makes us Sith. Don't become cold and unfeeling." Like my sire.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"You know me. I have the dedication and drive of my father... and the... passion of my... mother. Becoming dead inside is not in my future." He paused noticeably before mentioning his mother. He was still trying to figure out exactly what all those years had been. But there were already many things coming to his mind that began to make the connections with his personality.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"... Don't discount your parents on what they may or may not have hid from you," Shaisha offered in a soft tone. "Sometimes, they are the ones you need the most."

Her smile was oddly melancholic. "Trust me, I know."
