Seeing Red (Day 3 Early Evening)

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I think it's both, a way of life. You don't need a fixed job to get by." She smiled. "I imagine Zane is no different from me in this regard."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Zane's good with the instruments. We jammed together the other day." The Twi'lek glanced at the Imperial officer. "I am Darwi, you may have heard me on the radio. I pre-recorded today's Sixth Sense to come here, so you'll be able to tune in after the game."

"You forgot the part about you being a amazing singer." He teased as Darwi introduced herself. "On that note though, were you still wanting to play together somewhere soon?"

"I could chat with a few of the owners I know and set things up."

"Darwi has the right of it." He agreed with a nod. "If I need extra money I can always pick up something on the side. Dealing cards, simple bounties, even occasionally showing someone new around town. Though that's usually only worth a meal."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Sounds like the full life, when you factor in socializing with HoloNet celebrities," she said with a laugh.

"What sort of bounties do you chase? Or is that just a polite way of saying people who cheat you in cards?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Your right, though it's an enjoyable one." He smiled over at Darwi. "Especially that last part." His eyes flickered down checking the contents of the twi'lek drink, just in case she needed a new one.

Taking a sip of his own, he turned his attention back to Hala for a moment. "I leave the chasing card sharks to others most times. No, bounty wise i take the ones that catch my interest, and that don't have much chance for violence. They can be a bit rare, but it's what I prefer."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I would enjoy that, Zane. You know I would. It's for anyone who has music in their hearts. No matter what other things you do in life, sometimes you just have to let things out through singing or instruments." She shifted slightly in her seat, leaning back and putting her leg over the knee of the other. She was sipping slowly, so there was a lot in her container still.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'll start the work on setting something up then. Perhaps on the next couple days?" His eyes glanced towards the Meiloorun chips in her hands. "Do you mind? He asked in hopes of getting another.

"You are right though, there is something about music, and I'd have to say some of my favorite moments are when I can just loose myself in it. It's cathartic."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Absolutely. It's a time we can be ourselves." Darwi agreed with a small smile, catching a peripheral of him just across the edge of her lekku before batting lashes down and bringing a large crispy chip to his lips by holding it by the rim. "Have an unchipped one, Zane."

[Zanebry Varliss]

A smile played across his lips as she made her offer. "Thanks." Was the easy reply as he opened his mouth and took a bite.

Taking a moment chew and swallow he spoke. "Would you prefer a earlier show or a later one?"

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Have you caught any marks recently, then?" she asked, still intrigued.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Not in the last few days..." He looked over studying the older woman for a moment. "Was there someone you were looking into catching perhaps?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I want a prime time show, Zane." Darwi smriked, taking interest in a goal that just had been scored, letting the other two converse.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Well, I'm always told I should try to catch a husband but alas," she laughed with a sigh, "No such luck."

[Moyr Ahaya]

Was that a flirt line? The inner Moyr snickered. No, the inner Moyr chortled hard.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I want a prime time show, Zane." Darwi smriked, taking interest in a goal that just had been scored, letting the other two converse.

"Then prime time it shall be." He'd have to find a larger venue then usual, but that shouldn't be a problem.

"Well, I'm always told I should try to catch a husband but alas," she laughed with a sigh, "No such luck."

"I would of never have guessed such was the case." He looked the older woman over for a moment a sly smirk playing across his lips. "It cant be your looks that have kept them away. Was it long hours then? Or could you just not find one who could keep up?"

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Ah! You have me," she said with playful shock and a laugh.

"A mixture of all three. Hard to find someone willing to deal with the full package, so here I sit distracting a young couple on a date. I don't mean to be a bother."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"By all means, madame, do continue. Zane seems to be fancying you and I am not a fraction as desperate as you are." Darwi commented sweetly not looking away from the game.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Ah! You have me," she said with playful shock and a laugh.

"A mixture of all three. Hard to find someone willing to deal with the full package, so here I sit distracting a young couple on a date. I don't mean to be a bother."

"I suppose that would he hard." He said with a small nod. Smiling as she continued his eyes drifting back to Darwi.

"You knows it's not that way Darwi... Still I owe you an apology, I should not have been so distracted."

"Is there any way I can make it up to you?" He asked eyes only for the Twi'lek.

[Moyr Ahaya]

"It's all right, Zane, it's not like I am calling off our gig." She smirked. "I am having fun!" She pointed to the game. "A bit brutal, but requires skill. I like watching talented people doing their thing."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He looked at her seriously. "It's not alright my dear Darwi, I've offended you and that was far from my intention. "

"I am glad you are enjoying the game though." He offered her a smile. "Was there more you wished to know about the sport?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

She waved away his concers, and disarmed them with a smile. She didn't come off as petty. "Why are they not kicking the ball?" She pursed her lips thoughtfully.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He relaxed a bit but didn't look back in Hala's direction. "Kicking the ball is about the only thing that's against the rules." He replied with a smirk.
"Honestly I've always found that a bit silly." Reaching over he snatched a meiloorun chip from her bag and offered it to her, much like she had done to him. "Would you like a bite?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Sure, I'll bite." She smirked at the small double entendre, then acted on it with her studious big golden eyes on him, nibbling in silence for a moment. "I wonder why kicking is not allowed."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Not to hard I'd hope." His own lips curling into a playful smile, as he tried to catch her gold eyes with his grey ones.

"I suppose there is something about it the Hutts don't like... Or perhaps it's just because it amuses them."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Fair enough. They set the rules around here, I guess." She mused, taking a sip of the dewback. "I assume you're staying on their good side most of the time?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

He brought the leftover chip to his mouth to finish it before casually reaching for another. He once again offered it in her direction as he brought his own drink to his lips.

"I try my best to." He replied after a moment. "I believe that's what most of us here do though." His lips curled into a frown and there was concern evident in his tone as he spoke. "I was worried about you after yesterday's incident. I'm happy to see you're unharmed though, I hope they didn't actually get near the station."
