There were proper times to do some of the more questionable things in his life, so it was late in the day when he went hunting the Twi'lek slave. It was easy enough to find the man, z making the work look easy as he arrived at his destination.

Gettign the twil'ek slave to come with him was easy as could be, and soon enough Z had him out of the house and on the way to his rightful owner.

On his way back with the bounty, Zanebry came across a man smoking a cigarette next to a pile of dead Imperial soldiers in a truck bay. Nearby there were workers cleaning up a good amount of the blood. But a little bit of it never hurt Shadow Town. "What a busy night," he mused, his speech slow, soft, and seemingly pleased, "Oh, greetings. Late night for you too?"

A truck full of dead bodies was something that caught most people attention, Z paid it little attention though as he was greeted on the streets. "Always." He offered with a smile as he slowed his pace, glancing at the man that had greeted him.

Pulling a pack of smokes from his pocket, he flicked his wrist to make a cigarette peek out from within. Bending down to take it between his lips he turned towards the other man. "Got a light?"

"This will kill you eventually," he mused as he pulled out his metal lighter. He flicked it open and lit Zanebry's cigarette. "There are worse ways to go."

He nodded his thanks and took a drag, savoring it before realasing the smoke back into the air. "Those poor shmucks over there can testify to that." He nodded his head towards the bodies.

"Didn't think when things turned violent here it would be so one sided though."

[Nekoinu]

"The masked woman had some help," he stated with a shrug, "That is the way this world works." He gestured to his crew storing the weapons away and stripping any unmarred pieces of armor. "Useful business I have with so much violence," he continued with a chilling smile.

Masked woman wasnt very descriptive, but it was enough, there weren't very many masked sith women on the planet after all. "True enough, these guys should of brought more friends to the party, if they wanted a shot."

"Profitable too. By the looks of it " Zane added as he took another drag from his cigarette.

[Nekoinu]

"There were more of them at the start. But that does not mean everything," he said before taking a drag of his own. "But yes. Shadow Town is my most profitable venue. Easy to do and yet there is so much death here."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He snorted. "Especially when you add people with lightsabers into the mix."

Taking another drag from his cigarette his eyes lingered on the people working. "Can't argue with easy money... At least most times. I figure you be coming across a lot of that in the near future though, with these peace talks and all."

He let out a low, chilling laugh. "What do you think I've been doing, sir? Do you think people have been keeping the peace?" With the last of his cigarette gone, he dropped it on the ground and stomped it out. "I clean it all up."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Honestly no, but I haven't heard any whispers on the street of direct conflict between the Republic and Empire forces." He paused thoughtfully. "I knew it was too quiet."

"Should of figured they were keeping most of their plays under wraps."

[Nekoinu]

"Courtesy of me and my... rivals. It's a big enough business where we don't kill each other, though," he said, strangely disappointed by the notion. "It makes me happy to know I've done such a great job."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You do good work, not many can clean up things as efficiently as you do. Sometimes I wonder how we hear about some of these killings at all."

It was Zane's turn to finish his smoke, though after crushing it out in his gloved fingers he stowed the butt away in a old pack. "Anything worse then usual? If you don't mind me asking. Or is it just the same shot up and dismembered corpse like always?"

[Nekoinu]

"Well it is difficult to remove all witnesses. You try and then the problem exacerbates itself." He smirked. "I have seen men try before to kill everyone involved. It never ends well."

Chax looked to the bodies. "Some were killed via the Force. Their armor is easier to salvage."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's the truth. think you killed the last of them, then you find out there are three more. Pretty soon you have something impossible to clean up"

He grimaced when Chax mentioned the force used to murder. "I always thought that was a particularly terrible way to go. Something about it just seems.... like bad manners?"

[Nekoinu]

"It is great money when they try. Lots of bodies to see. Most of them follow the same pattern." He opened up another cigarette and lit it for himself.

"In this case, the damage to the victims is internal. Imagine a syringe drawing out vitals."

[Zanebry Varliss]

'New people are almost always predictable, and most of them are even arrogant enough to think they are the first to try stuff like that." He shook his head. "Some things are done the way they are for a reason."

At the explanation he grunted. "I was right, a terrible way to go."

[Nekoinu]

"I still have not decided if I enjoy the new kids more or not. Their kills are so messy. More work for me but a challenge and new experience is good."

On the topic of the victims of Force draining, he shrugged. "It is fascinating. I would not choose to suffer it myself but the effects intrigue me."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Never good to get rusty, or complacent. I'd say it's a good thing they are there to keep you on your toes." He pulled out another cigarette of his own, and taking a lighter out of his pocket he lit it.

"To each their own I suppose, I think I prefer not thinking about it too much."

Chax looked at the lighter, smirked, and then shook his head. "Yeah. I need to be able to account for anyone's messes."

He smirked. "Whatever you say. They're dead; I just deal with the corpses."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I wouldn't say anyone." He took a drag off his cigarette. "There are likely a few that can't afford your prices after all."

"Good point."

[Nekoinu]

"I do charge high prices. Not this time though. I considered it a wholesale discount per body. In exchange, I am less thorough."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Makes sense, with this number and in the Shadows. You might be here for days if you has to be thorough."

He looked over everything. "With all these weapons here I'm guessing your margins will be more then acceptable though."

[Nekoinu]

"Profits will be acceptable." He took another drag from his cigarette. "Perhaps it will save my life. Or someone else will find me with disfunctional lungs."
