"He's a Republic padawan washout or something. Vatou. One of those Selkath. He comes here, we give him the children, and then he runs off back home."

[Layne Hoshin]

She looked briefly toward Rumun, wondering what he was thinking about all this, then faced the camera again.

"Why would these people target the kids? What's so special about them? Come on! Don't tell me not one of you overheard or saw something to give us a fucking clue?"

[Nekoinu]

A few moments of silence. "Maybe they think they're going to become Jedi or something. I don't know. They weren't exactly talking about why they wanted the kids while they were shooting at us."

[Rumun Gol]

'' Force sensitive children '' Rumun says. '' Jedi rarely accept teens or adults to become padawans. They usually only accept young children. Less 'attachment'. Perhaps they are smuggling children with connection to the force.'' He commented.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Alright, so how do we find these guys?"

[Nekoinu]

"A group like that can't go completely unnoticed. As for us, we haven't exactly been searching for them.'

[Layne Hoshin]

"Gul," she said, totally getting the name of her companion wrong, "you think you can trace them? You're the type to be good with that stuff, right?"

[Rumun Gol]

'' Certainly I could '' He says with a hint of a smile.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Great. That's settled then. Right?"

[Rumun Gol]

'' Do I have any other option? '' Rumun smiles. He asked knowing the answer.

[Layne Hoshin]

"You seem to be misunderstanding something here, Guk."

She was doing it on purpose, right?

"This is what Haydriss sent us here to do. To fix their problems so they can get back to shipping slaves. So at least for now, doing this thing involves no betrayal, and it's exactly what you came here for in the first place. As for after? I haven't decided what comes after, yet. So don't have a fucking panic attack just yet."

[Rumun Gol]

'' Oh? I'm quite calmed. '' He was smiling. '' Just interested in how you will proceed and how this whole situation will end. Well, whatever. I'm quite interested in what you will do so I will help you. ''

[Layne Hoshin]

"Then get to it," she said, before looking back to Orion.

"I will need a way to contact the Jaw."

[Nekoinu]

Orion knelt down and slid over his holocommunicator across the floor. The intercom chimed in: "That should be good. And don't worry Orion, we'll compensate you on it.'

[Layne Hoshin]

She stopped it with her foot, and rolled her eyes.

"Could've just given me the address."

[Nekoinu]

Orion blinked. "Oh, right. Can I have that back?"

The intercom interjected: "Does it really matter?"

"I like that one."

[Layne Hoshin]

She sighed, and slid it back across the floor.

[Rumun Gol]

Is she a sith or a jedi? I'm not quite sure... Rumun thought as he observed the holocom go from one side to the other. This exchange was fascinating, indeed.

[Nekoinu]

"Nice." Orion pocketed it while the intercom gave out the holocom address.

[Layne Hoshin]

"Alright," she said, adding the address to her own comms, "don't leave town, or I'll hunt you fuckers down."

[Rumun Gol]

'' I suppose that what my partner is trying to say is that we can have a healthy working relationship from now on...'' Rumun tried to ease the tension by talking. But it doesn't make sense...

"Right," Orion said as he looked at the Duros. He then looked back at Layne and shrugged. "I hope you find them. Whatever they're planning, I don't think they're only attacking us."

"Other people with kids. There were whispers about it before we went underground. '
