Kind of a odd question....

But is there some sort of Space Umbrella?

And if so is it assumed to be one of those things we just have?

Also.

Zanebry has been know to crew with the Starcross on occasion. Could I be doing so during pregame with my ship left in port? Or would you prefer me flying in?

That's fine to slum with the Starcross, and yeah they are umbrellas.

So for things like modifications and surgeries. Are the prices listed in the book the final price including services rendered? Or do we need to find mechanics/doctors to install them and pay them for the job?

The book price should be fine if it take a roll to install then yes yeah you might want to pay if you want someone else to do it. In general you need someone to do the work for Cybernetics, I will look at ships and get back to you.

Question 1: What levels of Morality can we choose as a new player for a force sensitive?

Question 2: The Athletics skill can be used to gain an extra manoeuvre by spending 2 Advantage. When would one makes such a roll? As part of another manoeuvre?

Could I say my PC charges at his opponent, takes a massive leap and brings down a crushing blow. Mechanics wise it would be a move manoeuvre & roll Athletics, spend the 2 Advantage to gain a second manoeuvre of aim and then Action Attack.

Or a second scenario of: run towards my opponent, draw my lightsaber and then strike?

To keep it easy, they start at 50.

For the Athletics usually using a skill is an Action but in this case, so if you did generate 2 advantage you could take another Move or movement based Maneuver for free instead of spending two strain. So no attack unless you can use Athletics as a maneuver which is rare.

Looking at the lightsaber customization rules.

Can I reforge a lightsaber to get some of the advantage/triumph benefits on an existing saber?

Can I keep reforging a lightsaber to try and pile on more of those benefits?

Does reforging give free mods on attachments?

Just a bit about gambling. I'm pretty sure it's difficulty/max bet, for each of the tiers. I did want to make sure of it though. At a seedy casino for example, could we bet 80?

Also would it be possible to label the type of casino each of the ones that have a location are? I'm pretty sure Club Vertica is top tier for example. But what about Fancy's?

You can bet lower than the maximum bet, yes.

Will work on the established casinos. I also invite people to make up locations for the post as it doesn't necessarily have to be at a specific venue. Just remember that being removed for the day from one tier means all of them. It's a bit strange that way but it makes bookkeeping a lot simpler.

Edit: The general rule is Upper Levels - Tier 2, Lower Levels - Tier 1. That's not a total hard rule but it's the general feel.

Does reforging give free mods on attachments?

Reforging a lightsaber is basically starting a new with a core hilt but if you get a Triumph you might be able to move over a benefit you had before.

Otherwise it is basically a new hilt.

Reforging does not give free mods on the crystal. This only counts the first time you create a lightsaber and then attach the first crystal to it, that crystal gets the free mod. From there it is normal modding.

Even if you move it to another new lightsaber.

Interesting...

And may I assume I made my own lightsaber, thus giving myself that second boost die in reforging?

If I reforge a lightsaber hilt for someone else that they created, am I considered the creator of the reforged weapon, or are they?

If you reforge someone elses lightsaber you only get the boost die for having a hilt to reforge and then the new one is now yours.

I should note Jedi and Sith are very protective of their lightsabers it is a personal item, they are connected to it.

For anyone familiar with L5R it's close to letting someone else just run off with your daisho, you just don't let anyone touch your lightsaber.

Are imperials allowed in the republic zones and vice verse, if escorted? It seems diplomatically relevant. Taking a Sith on a walk through the enclave gardens seems a necessary show of good faith.

For the job/bounty meeting the client thread - will roleplaying be allowed during/after the arrangements or would meeting and getting details of the job take the whole timeslot

I believe the idea is that you will be roleplaying during the arrangement with the person giving the job. At the very least, that is what I intended with Aris N'ventas. In that sense, it would take up the whole timeslot, bu tit wouldn't be just me posting information.

No.

There is not enough trust for that at all.
Remmington Thalalas wrote:How much is the standard fare for the services for a cyberdoc? Mechanic?

Standard is relative better shop around, you can ask Dr. Tiskra when you get to Nar Shaddaa.

It depends but once your business is concluded you can continue to roleplay, probably outside or away from the deal or it might get awkward like when you say goodbye to someone and then both go in the same direction.

Is it possible to split two part-time job slots to accommodate an event slot in the middle?

That's fine, you don't get paid till the completion of the second thread.

That's great!

Also:

At sublight speeds for sake of my sanity a ship can reach any location in a system in a single time slot short of a trip from Nal Hutta to Nar Shaddaa. So if you decide to travel from say Nar Shaddaa to Seven Devils in the Early Evening you arrive at Seven Devils in the Late Evening, takes one extra time slot.

Does it meant moving between NS and NH does not eat up a timeslot?

It does not take up a time slot to go from Nar Shaddaa to Nal Hutta even if you take the shuttle. The authorized port is Jiguuna.

If you want to land somewhere else well, consult the GMs when the time comes.

...Hutts and all prices on Nar Shaddaa are decreased by .8 times. The Hutts are wary of events on the Smuggler's Moon...

I assume this means if price starts at 100 it drops to 80 (decrease to 80%)
Not if it starts at 100 it drops to 20 (decrease by 80%)
