[D4 LE] Civil Disobediance

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly was here about a bill. A bill she was 100% (97%) she didn't actually rack up. And really, who had that much money lying around,

So she did the insane thing, and decided to bring her objection to her great Huttness.

"I'd like to meet with Lady Dango, about some financial matter." She greeted the guards.

[Dapper Dog]

A Mandalorian guard looks at her and says, "I think I misheard you master Jedi, you want to see Dango the Hutt?"

[Alysele Cortess]

"Yes, I would like to do so. Or whoever can help with her financials. I see to have received a bill by mistake."

[Dapper Dog]

“Hutts don’t make mistakes, sweetie,” the Mandalorian replies.

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele smiled back sweetly. Too sweetly. "But their subordinates do. Like right now. So why don't you let.me talk to.someone who matters."

[Dapper Dog]

The Mandalorian is silent and then says, "Fine Dango will see you, go right in."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Thank you." she replied, ber voice dripping with syrup.

She stepped forward, trying to look as prim snd proper as possible.

[Dango the Hutt]

The interior private box is well appointed and Dango is dozing as the games are played but stirs when she is alerted that she has a guest. She turns slowly and says, “Master Jedi, what brings you to me today?”

There are several brutish guards in the room at least six.

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele pulled out a sweet and wide smile. "Lady Dango, first of all I would like to thank you for your hospitality." She eyed the guards. Not that she was planning on killing the Hutt... she wasn't that foolhardy.

"I have received the following message." She handed her datapad with the outstanding notice of 3000 credits. "Yet I have not stepped foot in your magnificent club since our arrival here. I am sure one of your subordinates must have made an unfortunate mistake."

[Dango the Hutt]

Dango has a thug take the pad and she says, “We will look into the matter but since you are here perhaps we can help one another. It may take a few hours to clear up this discrepancy, even days master Jedi. In the meanwhile there is a matter I think a Jedi is uniquely qualified to handle.”

“I would be grateful for your aid.”

[Alysele Cortess]

This is my complete lack of surprise. "Of course I would like to help in any way I can. We are here to build friendships after all. What would this delicate matter be?"

[Dango the Hutt]

“A Sith has stolen something from me, and although I could file a complaint with their people I prefer to not embarrass them openly. Jedi are specially trained to deal with Sith, mind tracking down this Vil Noru and returning my property to me?” Dango the Hutt says in Huttese.

“I believe she may intend to do harm to the Republic with my property… and that would be detrimental for both of us.”

[Alysele Cortess]

Ah, fun. "I can see what I can do for you Lady Dango. What can you tell me about this Sith?" She glanced around the guards. This is becoming more and more interesting.

[Dango the Hutt]

Dango waves and says, "I will have my people send you what we have, you may go master Jedi. I am pleased we could come to an agreement."

[Alysele Cortess]

Alysele smiled somewhat stiffly. "Certainly. I am looking forward to the data then. I hope you have an enjoyable evening Lady Dango." Fun times. She gave a proper bow, and made her exit, if there was nothing else.
