Preparations [Day 4, Early Afternoon]

Moving about the shops of Uptown Kristal Serasai had been searching for somewhere she might sell Stim's that weren't going to cause her to keel over when she needed it most, finding her ship in lacking supply of Medical supply. Hoping for the off chance she may just find a better deal than the standard, but then that wasn't exactly her area of expertise.

Sylvain too found himself in the merchant quarter of the upper levels of Nar Shaddaa. The events of the day had pressed him to be ready for whatever may happen in the next few days. He looked up from the wares as he saw someone enter through the front door of the where he was.

A slight smirk crossed his lips as he recognized the blonde hair and powerful aura of his friend. "Hey Kris."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Sylvain," she greeted with that cool Imperial tone. Walking into the area more properly she looked about to see if this may indeed be a place to get what she needed. It was always hard to tell with some of these places on Nar Shaddaa. Regardless she eventually looked back to Sylvain, no smile but there was certainly a warmth to it.

"I had not expected to run into you here," she commented.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smirked, "I'll pretend that you weren't looking for me if that is the way you'd like to portray it."

He shook his head and smiled, "I tease my dear. Is there anything I can help you with? What are you looking for?"

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal merely shook her head at the first, but when he relented there was a slight sigh of relief as she continued to look about.

"My stock of Medical supplies aboard my ship are unfortunately depleted, I am in need of more."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "I saw them over this way. I can probably help with the price a bit too if you'd like. No use in wasting resources more than you need to."

Sylvain approached the storekeeper with Kris in tow and began negotiating on a price for her goods.

Following up with Sylvain she allowed him to do the talking while she brought the list, ten stimpacks and a physician's kit enough to stock the Vindicator for anything it needed medically. As well, a couple binders on the off chance she actually needed to restrain someone. Although that was rather unlikely given her usual approach to situations.

Overall, the bill would have normally come to 700 Credits for the lot of it.

As they waited for the store keeper to arrive Sylvain turned to Kris, "I didn't mention it this morning, but I have my men working on finding the slicer... I'm supposed to get a report this afternoon. I'll forward anything I get to you then."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I would he appreciative of that Sylvain," she said in response. Turning more toward him than the counter. "I am visiting Harad later today, my man that was wounded in the attack. I would not want that man to escape justice for long."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "He's an efficient man... I'm sure he'll have a lead. I reached out to the Republic about this slicer as well... it's possible they would help with his apprehension and the administration of justice; in the name of their 'peace'."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Nunki Malyna, do you remember her" she asked, setting the stage for what she was about to inform him.

"Now she is with the Jedi, apparently she has been assigned to finding whoever was responsible for this attack. I am sure, with little doubt, that if they are to find him first they will attempt to keep us from our justice."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"And if Lord Xevious were to get his hands on this slicer, do you think he would receive 'justice'?" He asked.

"The Republic deals with rogues and traitors harshly as well my dear. He's subverting their interests, and I think they'll be more than willing to make an example out of him. I could be wrong to trust them... but I think I understand their interests in this particular case. It allows me a foot in the door with one of their representatives, and turns them against their own while building leverage for me that can be used later. We all get what we want this way."

[Kristal Serasai]

"You would use the man to gain political leverage," she said simply, honestly. "I would see him punished by the Imperials he attacked when we arrived. I do not care for how Xevious might attempt to play this into his hand. Faz is a criminal who has wronged the Empire, I would have him face the Empire's judgement. Not those of the Republic."

"For Harad, for the rest of my team caught in that blast. I will not let this go until I see him delivered to proper justice and I do not trust the Republic, not even for a second, to be able to carry out something suitable. I am surprised you do," she said, honestly.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I only trust them to do what they think is in their best interest." He replied. "I do not trust them personally. Compromises must be made for this illusion of peace which will allow us to restore our armies. You will have the same information my dear. If you wish to preempt them and administer your own justice, you of course have my blessing and support."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I very well might Sylvain," she said, not allowing for her intent to be clouded here. "Harad is still recovering from the wounds he sustained, still laid up in the infirmary. This man will not be given the chance at life in a republic chosen prison for attacking Imperials. I will not allow him to face anything but the appropriate measure of justice for what he has done," she stated with conviction.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I will assist you in any way I can. Harad is a good man."

[Kristal Serasai]

"Captain Harad saved Weaver's life in that action, if you were unaware," she added.

"Do tell me the moment you have the information Sylvain," she said, looking to him. It was a lighter look than she gave most others, someone else might have added please but this was Kristal's way of showing what it meant to her.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Before anything, it goes to you." He replied resolutely.

"I assume you'll want to take action on it this evening then? Perhaps I can lend a hand."

[Kristal Serasai]

"If your information allows for it Sylvain," she said looking to him straight. "Then the moment we have the chance. Just before that other business I was asked to attend later in the evening."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Other business? How late were you going to be busy? Shai and I wanted to go out for some relaxation."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I must leave Nar Shaddaa by night, there is business I must attend to out of System," she answered, a bit apologetically. "As soon as I finish a task here I will be boarding my ship and departing."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain's brow furrowed a tad, "And when will you return?"

[Kristal Serasai]

"Tomorrow.. sometime, I do not know for certain but as early as I can manage," she said, honestly. Looking to him with her own brow raised, wondering what was going through his mind precisely.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"My master is scheduled to arrive tomorrow..." He said simply.
