"Well, good luck with that," she said and stood up. "I'll take my slaves and credits and you and I can reset whatever this is back to zero."

"The full payment or your share, Layne Hoshin?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"What would you do with his share if you did not give it to me?"

[Nekoinu]

"I would grant it to him in full."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Despite your displeasure?"

"I settle any debts I owe. What happens afterwards to him has yet to be determined."

[Layne Hoshin]

"You're contradicting yourself," she said. "You're willing to give all of the money you owe him to me, knowing I might not share it with him. So either you're lying when you say you always settle your debts, or when you say you'd give it all to me."

[Nekoinu]

"Do I know you will not share it with him? You are always full of surprises." She let out a small laugh. "It may be safer for him if you deliver the fee to him."

[Layne Hoshin]

She shrugged. "Do whatever you like. Give me my cut, give me both cuts. It doesn't matter to me."

[Nekoinu]

Lord Haydriss nodded. "I will transfer it over to your account." She pulled up her datapad and sent over the full 1000 credits to Layne. "You will sort it out with Rumun Gol."
