[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane entered the Shadows quietly and joined the throng of revilers, over the course of time she made her way to a corner booth. Ordering a drink and looking very much exhausted from the rave going on in the middle, she ordered a drink and leaned back to wait. Despite the 'apparent' fatigue, Yslane's eyes were sharp as they scanned the crowd. For now she waits.

Another figure followed with her hood up, this was exciting... like real spies.

[Dapper Dog]

The Magpie is waiting and says softly, "Just as foreseen, welcome Jedi."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I am sure this comes as a shock," Yslane responded dryly and softly, "Given our last meaning...I'd say you are also a Force user?"

"So then what do you intend to do about Baras?" Her eyes flicked to Thy, it might have been presumptive but Yslane assumed she was suppose to take the lead here. And let Thy look imposing....dashing.....spy like?

[Dapper Dog]

“I intend to kill him before he causes more harm to the Empire and the Republic. You can either aid me, or simply stay out of my way but his intentions mean nothing good for your precious Republic,” she responds calmly.

“The question remains, will you stand against him or allow him victory and more power?”

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I still have some serious doubts....not the least of wish how this doesn't ruin the peace talks....but I agree to help with this, or at the very least not to say anything about it or work against you." She looks to Thy, waiting for her response to Magpie.

[Thy Yulani]

Thy frowns and says, “I have to agree, this sounds way shady, lady. We need details.”

[Dapper Dog]

The woman is quiet and says, “Then I require some help, you have put defenses in place to defend your Senator. That will not be enough; I have critical information on the cell dedicated to assassinating him. As a show of good faith, I give that information to you.”

She places a data chit on the table.

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane takes the chit, "Thank you..." She looks at the chit in her hand, "But what do you need from us? The Republic wishes peace and killing Baras at a peace conference seems counter to that goal. What makes his danger great enough to risk the talks? Beyond the attempt at assassinating a Senator."

[Dapper Dog]

"Baras is the center of a web of spies that infiltrates both the Empire and Republic, how is that not a danger to you and yours," the woman replies.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"And will his network simply collapse because he is removed?" Yslane raises a brow, "Or will another Sith not just step in and take his place? My understanding is the Empire does not lack for ambitious Sith willing to grab more power for themselves. So I ask again: why is Baras himself dangerous enough to risk the peace talks?"

[Dapper Dog]

“You would replace Baras with a back channel into the Empire, through me. I could wield his network to stabilize affairs between the Empire and Republic. I would be your inside woman, if things go awry. I have no desire for his ambitions, only to bring stability to a Galaxy spinning out of control,” she counters.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"So... I take it the obvious is true." Yslane frowns, "I hesitate to intercede in the affairs of the Sith, it feels too much like we are pawns in your people's power games."

"What is to keep you from turning on us once you seize Baras's power?"

[Dapper Dog]

“Nothing, but I have no reason to.”

“You are always pawn in someone’s game Jedi, be it Sith or your own High Council. This way you can do some good and remove a blight and replace it with a lesser more productive evil,” the woman responds calmly.

“Or the Jedi can sit by and do nothing.”

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Many a sentient has made the mistake of confusing caution and doing nothing. Sometimes any action will only make a situation worse and inaction is the only real choice." Yslane corrects with a frown.

"..." Yslane looked to Master Thy....as a padawan she asked herself....What Would Yulani Do?

Her first instinct was to do the opposite of that, but maybe she had been too timid these years. "I don't speak for the order at large, only myself. I'll help you."

[Thy Yulani]

Thy nods to her padawan, agreeing with her choice.

[Dapper Dog]

The woman rises and says, "Then see to this, as it is in our best interests moving forward."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Then you will contact us later I suppose?" Yslane asks.

[Dapper Dog]

"Deal with the cell and we shall speak again," she offers.

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane looks at the chit again, then nods.
