Dance Like it's the Last Night (D4, LE)

[Luth Khalan]

She looks at him for a few moments, then looks out into the crowd, taking a long few moments to consider. "I... I guess it's related to what I was saying the other day. It's better if only one person has to die than many." She pauses and continues, "I guess I'd like to help make the galaxy a better place, in my own way. I just don't want it to destroy itself for now." She pauses. "I used to want to go back to a civilian life, but I don't think that's reasonable anymore."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded, "Often excelling at one's profession has the negative addition of increased responsibility."

He pondered for a second, "There may just be an opportunity to do just as you wish... there is a target... a man of considerable power and influence who has done and will continue to do terrible things against the Empire... and a moment soon approaches where he could be replaced by others who would do much good... it is a terribly risky endeavor however."

"My life is risk already. I am at your service, my lord," she says seriously.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"This is a private matter of the utmost secrecy. Do not mention this conversation to anyone." He smiled.

[Luth Khalan]

She nods. "Yes, of course."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I will be in touch." He said with a smile. "Now where is Shai with those drinks? You like to dance?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Returning with three space-mojitos between her hands, Shaisha quietly passed out the drinks before fixing Asra with a brief smile.

"Am I interrupting?"

[Luth Khalan]

She accepts the drink and shakes her head. "No, I don't think so." She looks to him and shrugs. "I don't really know how. Haven't had much of a chance to try."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Well then, it's a good thing we are here." He smiled.

"Shai can help you with your moves. Loosen up a bit. Being too tight is bad for aim."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Are we returning to the dancefloor already?" she pouted in jest. "But we just got these drinks!"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Not this instant dear sister." He smiled.

"Anyone got a toast?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Hm..." she glanced between the two.

"To the Empire is a little cliche, so... how about to good luck?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Quite original." Sylvain said with a smirk.

"To good luck!" He raised his glass.

[Luth Khalan]

That's something I can get behind. Asra raises her glass and taps it. "To good luck."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"And may the odds be ever in our favour," the pureblood grinned and took a mouthful of mojito.

"Didn't think this was your kind of place, co... Asra," she corrected herself, seeing as it was very off-duty. "But probably better than the gambling table."

[Luth Khalan]

She looks over toward her and nods. "Well, odds and luck are two very different things, eh?" she suggests with a smile. "I've been sort of scouting out the popular spots this evening. Ran into your friend over at Club Vertica earlier, even."

"And yes..." she shakes her head. "There's a reason I don't bet very much. I have no poker face."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain chuckled, "I thought you to be quite the smooth operator personally."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"And here I thought snipers knew how to keep their cool too," the sith snickered.

[Luth Khalan]

"Well, in the field, sure," she says, gesturing with her drink toward the door. "Gambling or cute girls? Forget it. Smooth as a gravel road."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Girls is it then? Perhaps Shai could help you out?" He said with a laugh and jab of his elbow into his sister's side. "She's available."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

There were certainly a few thoughts that passed through her mind.

"Not that he was available if it was boys," she retorted with a playful grin. "So dear Asra keeps her cool as long as its not gambling or girls? That must certainly make it hard on Nar Shaddaa, with all those distractions..."

Shaisha gave Asra a wink.

She laughs. "Fortunately, I don't participate in the gambling aside from the one time, where I got the fun of embarrassing myself," she comments, smirking, in good humor. "And Shaisha is definitely an extraordinary example of the gender, but I can't help but feel like you're teasing me a little."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "Knowing Shaisha it isn't a baseless tease."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I always tease though," she chuckled and took another sip of her drink.

"Life's too short to be serious all the time... and to not have fun when the opportunity arises."

[Luth Khalan]

"True. It's nice to have a little bit of balance between work and fun for a little while," she admits, taking a swallow.
