She smirked

"If you want we could come back at a latter date and try to capture the thing. I'm sure it would be worth a lot for some Hutts"

"Careful what you wish for Craw." He smirked at the Mandalorian. "Would have been nice to kill something that deserved it though."

Jo'ren enjoyed the climb, it was good to do something physical. As they closed on on the location he looked back at Baesal.

"Are you sensing it nearby?" He pulled his saber from his belt, just incase there was another creature waiting for them.

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Shhh."

Moyr was not engaging in chitchat, looking out for possible surprises, both environmental and animate.

[Dapper Dog]

The team continues deeper into the swamp and feel... for the Sith a nauseating feeling of peace and serenity. The water seems clearer... the brush more robust and thick and the air is crisp and warm but less foul. Then they sense it... there are others around them moving through the swamp trees and a woman drops down in front of them from above.

She says, "Clever girl... you do not belong here. This is our land and you can go no further."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Why is that you won't allow me any further?" Moyr tried to combat down the nauseating feeling of Light Vergence to keep her senses keen. "What claim do you have to this land?"

[Dapper Dog]

"More than you, Outlander," she replies cooly.

"Leave the way you came and we shall have no quarrel here. We will not suffer a Sith, but we do not seek to do you harm either."

She looks at Baesal and says, "I do not know your purpose here, but your choice of allies is unsettling."

[Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren folds his arms across his chest and channels his senses in preparation for combat, just in case. He decided it would be best not to say anything when these creatures were so set against the Sith. Instead he just looked at Baesal. This was her project after all.

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I go where the Force and my will guide me." Moyr averred, but gave Baes the chance to speak.

[Dapper Dog]

She stands defiant and says, "You will go no further, Sith."

[Baesal Zyn]

She stepped forward to face the green women

''The Force binds all.'' she replied at first before making hers Master Thun's lesson, looking at her companions ''There is darkness in the light and light in the darkness.''

''We are here following the path of another who went by the name of Hazzan. He found a secret on this planet...something dark that ended up terrifying him.''

She took a breath

''Someone is trying to recover that secret, however...and we seek to stop her''

[Dapper Dog]

"You have come far for nothing then, we do not have what you seek," she says to Baesal.

"We are the guardians of the land, and we are sworn by sacred oaths to keep it free from corruption. You are welcome here, but your allies are not."

[Jo'ren Rath]

"Go ahead Baesal. We'll enjoy some civilised conversation with these lovely people while you do what you came to do." He looked around the clearing and wondered if killing the Acklay would have been a better use of their time.

[Baesal Zyn]

Beasal nodded to Jo and then turned towards Moyr to whom she smiled reassuringly

''It'll be fine''

[Dapper Dog]

"Stay your weapons and you shall not come to harm," she says.

The woman watches the smile and frowns, but says nothing keeping a wary look on the Sith.

[Craw Toboga]

Craw stood to the side, watching the force sensitives have their little talk. He regarded all this with minor boredom when it became clear violence was not gonna happen.
"Weird stuff..." He said quietly under his breath as Baesal turned to leave.

[Jo'ren Rath]

"It's not us I'd be concerned about, but as a gesture of goodwill..." He reattached his saber to his belt and spread his arms wide taking a deep breath.

"I definitely prefer jungles to swamps."

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal closes her eyes for a moment to feel the resonance or the vergeance

''Very well'' she started to walk forward, putting shield and saber to her belt.

''Please lead the way''

[Dapper Dog]

The woman nods and starts walking once away from the other she says, "You travel with Sith... but you are Jedi. That seems unusual."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I was a Sith once'' she told truthfully

''But I chose otherwise in the end''

Baesal had made peace with her choice but some degree of greif still lingered

Craw looks to the sith and in a puzzled tone asks "So, uh, whats the plan then? We just waitin' for them to do their thing?" He gestured to where the two women had disappeared to.

[Dapper Dog]

''I was a Sith once'' she told truthfully

''But I chose otherwise in the end''

Baesal had made peace with her choice but some degree of greif still lingered

"Then you have overcome your darkness, we are Jedi... though distinct from the order at large. We focus our efforts on Nal Hutta and the forgotten places in Hutt Space. We welcome you as a sister, though I do not understand why you have come," she says honestly.

"So tell me your purpose here."

Craw looks to the sith and in a puzzled tone asks "So, uh, whats the plan then? We just waitin' for them to do their thing?" He gestured to where the two women had disappeared to.

"Yep, pretty much." He watched as they walked off, then shrugged and turned back to Craw. "So, what's new with you?"

[Craw Toboga]

Craw shrugged. His tone was normal, slightly bored. "Well let's see, found out my mom is alive, saved Corso Fett's life after which he offered me a job, and decided to turn my life around and quit drinking." He paused and looked at the swamp around him before continuing. "So yeah, been an eventful few days."

[Baesal Zyn]

''I am surprised...but I guess I should not be'' she let out a sigh

''What I told you earlier was the truth...but I might have made a mistake. We are retracing the path of an ancient Sith Lord called Hazzan. He created a ritual of dreadful power that allows someone to drain the very Force out of someone to power the ritualist. He became so afraid of what he did that he turned to the light for salvation.''

She looks at her guide

''Clues led us to Nal Hutta...and I found a plant on a space station...then we heard about the force tradition of the evocii. We thought we might find something here to stop that ritual. That is the short version, do you wish for me to elaborate?''

Craw shrugged. His tone was normal, slightly bored. "Well let's see, found out my mom is alive, saved Corso Fett's life after which he offered me a job, and decided to turn my life around and quit drinking." He paused and looked at the swamp around him before continuing. "So yeah, been an eventful few days."

The sith raised his eyebrows in surprise. "Shit man, that's awesome." He offered a fistbump. "You're living the dream."
