Ask questions if there were terms you did not understand.

The biggest thing is Advantage is awesome, Triumphs are awesome. All the cool stuff happens with Advantage and Triumph. Bad stuff with Threat and Despair.

You get 1 action per turn. You get a maximum of two Maneuvers, 1 is free the second may cost you strain.

Strain is both a health pool and a resource, you can use Advantage to regain Strain. Force Users live and die on their strain.

Order of combat didn't make sense. You said it changes round to round, but it wasn't clear how it changes nor why it changed. What made it so Thy went first that round, and not first in future rounds?

I got a bit lost following why certain dice were rolled, as the dice changed a lot

In FFG Star Wars the slots for initiative are not tied to a specific player, they are divided between PCs and the NPCs.

Each round you can decide who takes what slot. PC and NPC alike. It might be advantageous for Aphr to go first one round and then last another depending on the situation. As for the dice, some of the rolls were modified by Aim which adds a Boost or upgraded which changes a green die to a yellow die or a purple die to a red die. Some effects like Defense or Cover add a setback Die thus the black die.

Dice pools get adjusted a lot in this game, especially in combat.

You roll initiative which is the first post Cool if prepared or Vigilance if not. Then the players decide the slots they want per round, you communicate with each other.

So say for an Init you roll and it comes PC, NPC, NPC, PC then the players decide who wants the first one and the other the last and maybe next round they reverse the order due to circumstances.

As for the rolls pick one and I can explain where the stuff came from.

Just going by the Destiny dice-rolls, we so far have a split 11/11/8 between factions. That's not too bad, really.
