Cosplay Observation! (Day 5 Late Afternoon.)

[Zanebry Varliss]

Zane wasn't sure where he was anymore, it most definitely wasn't Nar Shadda. There were people everywhere dressed in odd costumes, making poses, it was a bit too surreal. Still he had heard from Arali she was going to participate in some kind of contest, so he'd made his way here.

Settling in a seat near the front row, he slipped a flask of whiskey from his jacket pocket and took a sip. Something told him he was going to need this.

[Nekoinu]

"Nice Vera Hawke impression, especially if you're going for a less promiscuous look!"



"I'm not in a costume!"

O'nera groaned and took a seat next to Zanebry. "Hey, nice hat. Are you some investigator guy from this show or something?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

A polite nod and smile was given to the attractive young woman as she took the seat beside him. This was closely followed by a look of a confusion, as he asked quite politely. "Thank you for the compliment, but what show?"

[Nekoinu]

"Vera Hawke, Jedi Knight or whatever. Lots of drama in that one. I don't really watch it myself but when you're a Mirialan Jedi Knight yourself, well, you hear a lot about it.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Ah, I'll have to ask you to excuse my lack of knowledge, I just don't really watch holovids..." He trailed off for a moment. "Is that the show with that one well-endowed woman in it?" He asked still looking for clarification, Ashla had mentioned it once before so it was likely, but still he couldn't be certain.

"Oh, and I'm Z by the way." He offered the lady his hand.

[Nekoinu]

"Yuuup. Certainly well-endowed there." She looked back to Zanebry and gave him a firm handshake. "O'nera Aeser, Jedi Knight. An actual one, that is."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"A pleasure Madam Jedi, or do you prefer O'nera?" He asked reaching in his pocket to retrieve his flask, tilting it her way in a silent offer. "So I take you may actually know a little bit about this? Like who these people are dressed as?"

[Nekoinu]

The Jedi ignored the flask offered to her and looked to the contestants. "Whatever's fine, Hat Guy," she said with a sly smirk. "And yeah, I don't really watch that much holovids."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Alright then Busty." He replied with a teasing tone before taking a sip from his flask. "It seems we're both doomed to have no idea what's going on then."

"Which I suppose is fine... Maybe we can try and guess who they are?"

[Nekoinu]

Her cheeks flushed. "'Busty?' That's awful." She crossed her arms over her chest and glowered.

"And, yeah, I suppose that's all we can really do now." The Knight looked at Arali take the stage as some sort of strange dork with a winged gadget on her back. "I couldn't possibly say what she's trying to do there."

[Zanebry Varliss]

Her actions received a light chuckle, before he offered her a charming smile. "You started it when you called me Hat-man O'nera." He replied playfully.

"Some sort of space merchant?" He offered after a moment. "Flying around lowering prices so people can live better?" It didn't make a lot of sense, but it seemed like something Arali might dress up as.

[Nekoinu]

"Pointing out your hat is much different than my boobs," she said, keeping her voice down just barely.

O'nera shrugged. "Space merchant girl it is." She looked to Arsele taking the stage and blinked. "Well then, that's a costume. I'm not sure if she's just going for sex appeal or if she is actually trying to be someone.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That's a fine point." He offered dipping his head as he conceded the point. "You have my apologies, perhaps it would of been in better taste to call you Hoods" Really though it wasn't his fault the boobs stood out more.

He almost sighed as Arsele took the stage, he really didn't think she needed to wear so little. "Sex appeal almost certainly, she probably just got a little carried away with it. Knowing her, She was probably aiming to look like something at the beginning though."

Arsele did receive a appreciative whistle though, as well as a call of. "You look great beautiful." This was how these things worked right?

[Nekoinu]

"Hoods." She shook her head. "Hoods and Hat Guy."

O'nera shrugged. "Maybe that won't be the trend of this competition." She then looked at Alysele take the stage and blinked. "What is she thinking?" She looked over to Zanebry as if checking if she was actually awake. "She's a Jedi Knight."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Hat Man." He corrected her with a smirk. "It sounds more super heroish that way?" there was a small pause. "Though with that naming sense, it'd make you my sidekick, and I dunno if that works. Hat Man and Hood Girl perhaps?"

"She's probably thinking she has a lot she can show off." He mused as he looked the woman over. "Though you're right... she probably should of picked something a bit less evil looking..." There was a pause as he met her gaze. "Probably with a bit more clothing too."

[Nekoinu]

"Usually the Knight is the one in charge," she said with a nod. Still, it appeared that she was starting to smile.

"She is a bit of an odd one, not that I should be judging." She leaned back, her eyes widened as she gazed upon Cole's magnificent costume. "And things just keep getting weirder."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Hrm... Does that mean we can't be a crime fighting duo then? Are we just individual hero's who sometime meet?" It seemed like he should add a bit about sexual tension, but he decided to leave that part out.

"Odd? Maybe I should meet her then, don't think I've ever come across a odd Jedi." He glanced at O'nera. "Unless you're leaving something out..." As Cole came out he blinked, then took a pull from his flask. "Is that some sort of green drag queen?"

[Nekoinu]

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense." She smirked. "Does that mean I'm going to end up on TV too?"

O'nera shook her head. "His tattoos are off," she murmured. She then watched Niall take the stage and sighed. "I miss the first costume so much now."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Maybe, if you're lucky." He smirked. "Perhaps I can give you a call the next time I need to rescue a damsel in distress?" Yes z play it off, you weren't really seen blowing up people on t.v.

"Tattoos? Ahh..." He finally understood, mostly. "Who's he supposed to be?" z Asked as the man came of stage, perking up a bit as she mentioned Arali. "Arali does know her stuff, pretty good with all those arts and crafts type things."

[Nekoinu]

"If I'm lucky?! If only you are, Hat Man!"

The Jedi Knight peered at him. "Oh! From one of those movies! I forget what they're called though. The guy squints a lot in it though."

She then looked at 'Lucena Darklight' take the stage. "She looks good up there. Must be some sort of Imperial rival of Vera Hawke."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I look forward to seeing you escapades then." He replied with a crooked smile, before saying in a somewhat cheesy announcer like voice. "But remember Hood Girl, should evil ever get the drop on you. Call the man in the Black Hat."

"Why isn't he squinting then?" Z asked a look of confusion on his face.

"Maybe, but with the way Vera dresses, you gotta wonder if she wears similar under that cloak." He paused. "What do you think she's called?"

[Nekoinu]

"Maybe Black Hat would fit better!" She mused and scrunched up her face in thought. "Man, action movies are hard."

O'nera shrugged. "Cause he's doing it all wrong!"

On the matter of 'Sylvain,' the Jedi Knight shrugged. "Something involving darkness, I bet. She's the best one so far though!" Her attention then turned to Niriti taking the stage. "Another Vera Hawke, huh? I guess everyone wants to impress the actress.'

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Black hat?" I think it like it." Of course the same idea didn't work with brown hood. "They are" He agreed. "But if you want to be on t.v...."

"Seems that way." He replied with a chuckle.

"You're right, they certainly seem a lot more familiar with the character then most of these other." His eyes looked over Niriti as she walked onto the stage, she was Sexy as ever. "Seems that, way. Never thought a Sith would dress up as a Jedi though, even if it's just a character from a holovid."

[Nekoinu]

"Black Hat and Hood Girl. Sounds like a movie in the makes!"

O'nera shrugged. "I suppose. I mean, Alysele dressed up as a corrupted Jedi so anything is free game at this point." Her attention then turned to Varra's attempt at being an Imperial officer. "I'm not sure if the Empire is going to live that down!"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That it does." He replied with a chuckle taking a sip from his flask before once again, before offering her way. "Cheers?"

"I guess, you're right, this is for fun after all." He snorted slightly with the petite woman came onto the stage. "Are those blaster burns under those medals?"
