Cosplay Observation! (Day 5 Late Afternoon.)

The Jedi Knight ignored the offer but still said, "Cheers."

She peered. "Yeah, I guess those are. There was that huge Sith battle in the lower levels. Maybe they looted it from one of the dead officers!" The knight then turned her attention to the 'Mandalorian.' She looked around at the multitude of other Grey Storms walking around. "Well, that's not original at all."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He smirked and took a sip for her too. He'd get her to drink some eventually... Probably not.

"That would be a distinct possibility." he mused remembering his conversation with Chax. "They'll sell you about anything in Shadow town."

"I agree, pretty boring. If i wanted to see a Mandolorian all I'd have to do is go down to the yellow viper." Maybe if it had been sexy armor version mandorlian, it might of gotten a better review.

[Nekoinu]

"I can imagine. Maybe that's where all the shoddy costumes are coming from."

She smirked. "Yeah. I wonder if the Mandalorians are offended by knock-off armor? Well, time will tell I guess." Craw then walked up, wearing a suit and spewing out corny lines. "Is he... trying to be you?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"If they were, that would probably prove unfortunate for a few people here, so lets nope not." He replied with a small sigh.

He glanced her way and offered her a smile. "I wouldn't be surprised if he was, but he's going to have to work on those lines. He's never going to get a woman that way."

There was squeking involved as Aly made her way to the stands. Her dress looked nice, but was a pain to actually wear, especially after hours of being in it. Still, she was certainly enjoying herself, judging by the sincere smile on her face.

She waved to AShla and her....child? What?

"Sorry!" her lightwhip managed to get snagged in a trandoshan tail.... a real one this time.

Noticing a familiar Jedi and someone from the vids this morning with a free seat near them, she waved.

"Hey. Can I sit here?" There was a mixture of extremely sweet perfume and sweat in the air around her... it seemed she did go all out.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I don't mind." He replied gesturing to the seat to his side. She was a lovely woman and despite the fact she didn't know how to pick perfume, he would never object to having a good looking girl on each side.

"O'nera and I were just trying to figure out what everyone was dressed as. Seems we're both a bit ignorant on the subject." Taking a sip from his flask he offered it towards Aly. "I'm Zan by the way, or Black Hat as Hood Girl here has started to call me."

[Nekoinu]

"Very interesting choice of costume," she said, the judgement full in her voice. Still, she managed to give the newcomer a polite smile. She turned and looked at Yslane take the stage. "That's more inline with what I would expect a Jedi to wear."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Jedi?" He asked curiously, as his eyes watched her cross the stage. Taking a moment to offer some encouraging words in her direction. "She told me she was a bureaucrat just the other day."

[Alysele Cortess]

"It was the only one available at the store. Besides, it does good to subvert the Jedi image now and then. Brings us closer to the populace we are shepherding." There was slight defensiveness in her voice as she took a seat next to the Black Hat. "Nice! I think I saw a movie playing this morning with just your character... and Jedi Knight Alysele Cortess, masquerading as Vera Knight the Lady Tyrant."

She smiled vividly.

"Maybe I can help with that.... Yslane is I think... pirate queen Crimsonia. She knows that better than me. The young man who is not squiting is Ja'red Foekiller, star of the Galaxy Commando movies from movie 8 onward, and the upcoming Havock Squad movie."

She was smiling very happily at the man. "That is Lucena Darkness, Imperial agent hunting down subversive elements of the Empire, and Grey Storm, her eternal rival slash love interest."

"Shepherding? That's a weird way to put it." O'nera shrugged and shook her head with a smile. "Whatever you say, Lady Tyrant."

She followed along on the identification of all of the costumers. "Ah, Lucena Darkness! I'll have to look her up later."

[Zanebry Varliss]

A small frown crossed his features. "Uhh, that was probably just the gun fight i was in this morning." He took a sip of of his flask seeing that this jedi didn't want a nip either. "These clothes are just what I wear day to day." He honestly wasn't some kind of action movie star, or well dressed up as anything.

"A pleasure to meet you though Miss Alyese." He tried to follow the names that were given, but he probably missed at least half of them. He quickly was coming to the conclusion though, that the woman was a nerd. Something like a cuter Arali.

Still that didn't mean he wouldn't flirt with her, so moving his lips into a charming smile he thanked her. "I really do appreciate that, I've never been one for holovids you see, and just really came to cheer on a few friends."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr had remained to the side, watching the strange show with an expression somewhere between confused and amused.

Lucena walked off the stage and found a table with some water set out. She stood next to the table, still in character as it were, and examined the people out on the floor with her cold, steely, mysterious gaze.

"Oh, really?" How weird.... "That's a new one. I don't think I've seen or heard someone being attacked while being filmed." She glanced at him, assessing his status. "I hope you are doing well then?"

"Friends, eh? Anyone in particular? " She noticed the agent of darkness, and winked at her/him. "Any other pastimes perhaps?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"It was a rather surreal experience." He offered after a moment. "But those Crescent Shadow fellows seem to have a peculiar habit of it." He offered her a warm smile. "Thank you for youth concern, I'm in a mild bit of pain, bur I'm taking my medicine." He raised his flask.

"Ah, the first one that came on stage. Arali, I've known a few other of the contestants as well though." He paused to look her over for a moment. "I must say you really do pull off that costume. Was it being the last on the racks the only reason why you chose it?"

He turned towards O'nera and motioned up to the stage. "What to do you think of that one? It's a bit patriotic for my taste. Seems like Colonel Hala is trying to turn this into a recruitment drive almost."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

After her turn on the stage, Hala went back to her attempt to mitigate the stompiness of her costume and, with muffled clomps, made her way over to Zane and co.

"Mr. Zane," she said with a nod and an exhilarated smile, "That was actually kind of.... fun? I've never done that before."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Miss Hala." Zane greeted her with a warm smile. "I'm happy to hear you enjoyed yourself, I can say I didn't quite expect to see you up there."

"You pulled it off well though, could I ask what gave you the idea? It was a original if I recall?"

[Nekoinu]

"Yeah, she really went all out with the patriotism there."

O'nera perked her brow when the Angel of Dromund Kaas came closer. Her first words seemed to take the Jedi Knight on surprise. "Well, you made the Imperial military look a lot better than that earlier woman," she said as an attempt at being friendly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Finding a place to sit down, Shaisha finally slipped the helmet off after a long time of wearing it. She muttered something about how Mandos could even stand wearing it all the damn time.

"Nice costume, but you should've done something to cover up the red skin," a jerk with glasses commented. Shaisha scowled back at him, and he scampered off when he realised he was probably looking at a real Sith in costume.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"Didn't recognize her, and I suppose you could say it's not very original if I do it but since I haven't done this before.... go with what you know?" Hala said with a stuff shrug, her gesture clearly contained by the faux-exo-suit she wore.

She looked from Zane to his company and extended one squeaky, stiff hand.

"My name's Hala."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"You have a point, and it seems there may be a story there as well. Perhaps you would share it with me another time."

"Ah but my manners. Hala, these two lovely ladies are O'nera and Alysele, knights of the jedi order. Ladies, this is Hala, a colonel i believe? Though I don't know if we spoke of which branch."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"That's correct, but I'm not in uniform," she said before glancing down and noting that her costume was indeed built around one of her uniforms, "Not on duty, anyway. No need to stand on ceremony. Nice to meet both of you."

She gave them each a friendly nod in turn.

O'nera shrugged. "Nice to meet you, Hala," she remarked, again not super enthused.

[Alysele Cortess]

"That is an original creation, right?" Aly looked at Hala's getup. "Nice... where did the inspiration come from?"
